Part I : CIVIL WORKS
Part I -A : SUB STRUCTURE
Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal ofrubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works usinggraded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, machinemixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as perspecifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: a) Reinforcement provided if any shall be measured & paid under relevant item. b) MS frame works around pedestals etc. if provided shall be measured under relevant item. c) The dimensions of pedestals/ foundations are likely to be varied and rate quoted shall be final without any additional cost to the Department.
P C C M-10 grade in bed concrete to foundations,pedestal,Cable,trenches etc.
P C C M-15 grade in Plinth protections, Sub-base Flooring, foundation in pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection, encasing etc.
Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation and plinth at all levels and locations conformining to I.S. 456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, using 20mm. maximum sizedown graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position,mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete as per specifications, drawingsand as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, for the following. Notes for Reinforced Cement Concrete works: i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge. ii) PPC/ blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge. iii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. iv) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. v) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. vi) The water tank and other tanks shall be executed strictly as per following criteria without any additional cost. a) The water tank and other tank work shall be executed as per IS 3370 latest editions in addition to other relevant IS code mentioned elsewhere. b) The minimum cement content for water retaining structures tank shall not be less than 330 kg/cum and not more than 400 kg/cum. c) During construction of raft slab of underground tank, lift pit dewatering shall be continuously carried out to avoid developent of water pressure. d) Dead load in the form of sand bag shall be placed on the raft slab of underground tank, lift pit, so as to counteract the pore pressure untill the walls are constructed and back filling is done. Number of sand bags required and time period of loading etc. shall be at the descretion of the Engineer in Charge. vii) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the dept. c) Making cutout whereever required including cutting the form works etc. d) Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
For all type of Structural / RCC elements with all geometrical shape and sizes.
Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) confirming to IS :4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type ofstructural elements/RCC/PCC elements including transporting,pumping etc. complete as perinstruction of the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer-in-Charge in writing. ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned else where shall be measured and paid under this item for substructure works.
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking / removing,cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work in foundation plinth at all locations for all geometrical shapes in plain,curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges,props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approvedform oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hackingof all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, where plastering to be done,including all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and asdirected by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes for Formwork: i) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. ii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometrical shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces. iii) For double/ multi stage shuttering design calculations and details /drawings for scaffolding shall besubmitted by the contractor well inadvance. Prior written approval of formwork shall be obtained from Engineerin Charge, before commencement of work. iv) Nothing extra shall be entertained for revision in drawings.
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening,cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, softdrawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all asper specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL, JSW ,RINL and JSPL only.
Brick masonry work in foundation, plinth, cable pits, trench, steps etc. using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min.average compression strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2 ) in ready mix cement mortar 1: 6 tocorrect line, level and plumb including raking out joints/simultaneous flush pointing withReady Mix Mortar 1:4, curing etc.complete as per specifications, drawings and as directedby Engineer-in-charge. Note for Brick masonry work: i)One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimension by the contractor by applying Ready Mix Mortar 1:4 inproper line, level & plumb without any extra cost to the department. ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. iii)The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. iv) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
Providing 20mm thick cement plaster 1:4, using Ready mix mortar, finished smooth, for concrete/masonry surfaces (inside trench/nalla/pit / storm water drains etc.), mixed with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, complete as instructed by Engineer in charge.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport to the nearest approved disposal ground of MCGM or area inside Anushaktinagar including all leads, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, spreading, levelling etc. complete all as per guidelines of construction and demolition waste management plan as approved by MCGM and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: i)Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft rock/ hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment in case direct measurement is not possible. ii) Royalty for transportation, disposal of earth, spreading etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor.

Supplying and spreading pesticides chlorpyriphos or other chemical approved by central insecticides board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti-termite treatment at the rate of 7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by the manufacturer) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II. (The payment will be made on the basis of plinth area measurement only at ground floor/ stilt area for all stages of operation and vertical face will not be measured for payment) all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: a) This item will be executed through approved agency who is a member of Indian Pest Control Association, approved by Central Insecticides Board. b) The contractor shall have to furnish ten years guarantee in the prescribed proforma as per Section-10 (iv) Conditions and clauses of contract-2008, to maintain the anti-termite treated area/ structure free from termite. c) Prior approval of Engineer in Charge shall be obtained after testing the chemical for antitermite to be used and shall be tested in approved laboratory and to be submitted to Engineer in Charge. Cost of testing shall be included in the rates quoted.
Providing and laying damp proof course 38mm thick at plinth level in cement concrete 1:2:4 using 10mm. maximum size and down graded stone aggregate, mixed with approved water proofing compound at 2% by weight of cement laid to levels, slopes etc. including applying a coat of hot bitumen of grade 80/100 at 17 kg./10 sq.m. including cost of form work, curing all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Structural steel work in frames, covers, using angles, tees, flats, bars, chequered plates, inserts fabricated out of mild steel bars, ISMC, ISMB, angles, pipes, plates etc. of all shapes, sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, making holes/ chases wherever required and fixing / embedding in position in concrete/ brick work with necessary hold fasts/ screws & rawl plugs and finishing the concrete/ brick work after fixing/ embedding including painting two coats of anticorrosive bitumastic paint on all unexposed surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all exposed surfaces over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing & laying NP 2 class of following diameter RCC hume pipe including making holes in masonry/ concrete work wherever required, making good the holes after laying the hume pipe with collar joints using stiff mixture of cement mortar (1:2) and sealing open ends with wooden bush etc. all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Earthwork, road work and PCC for embedment shall be paid under relevant items)

PART I-B : SUPER-STRUCTURE (STRUCTURAL) i) Super structure items included in this schedule pertains to all the works above plinth level upto roof including parapets, water tanks, machine room, terrace level works etc. unless specified otherwise.
Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30 in super structure conforming to IS 456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, at all floors and levels for all structural members in all geometrical shapes/ design as per drawings using graded stone aggregate of 20mm and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge. Notes for RCC Works: a) All RCC works shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. b) The water tank work shall be as per IS 3370-2009 latest edition c) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. d) All coarse aggregate to be 20mm maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. e) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Dept. i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, fan hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the Department. iii) Cut out in slabs, construction joints etc. f) Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
For all type of Structural/ RCC Elements with all geometrical shape

Extra for adding approved integral crystalline waterproofing admixture @ 0.80% (minimum) to the weight of cement content per cubic meter of concrete or as recommended as per manufacturer's specification including mixing, conveying, etc. complete and as directed by Engineer in charge. (For terrace roof slab, sloped roof, head room, etc.) Note: The agency shall have to test for water tightness of roof slab concrete by ponding of water for 48 hours and rectify if required by grouting etc, as directed by Engineer in charge.

(Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment & stop boards for construction joints etc. will not be measured for payment).
For all type of structural / RCC elements including all geometrical shapes and single / multiple staging at all floors and location.
Providing, erecting, fixing, in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber Shuttering & centering, for formwork using ply board to obtain form finished concrete surfaces of F3 finish to ceilings at all floors, heights & locations including single / multiple staging at all floors and locations for all geometrical shapes in plane, curved surfaces of structural / R C C elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails,bracings, brackets, cutting hole for pipes etc. providing and applying approved form oil to all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete and skirting / removal of the same including finishing by filling form-tie-holes, removal of fins, ridges and irregularities by grinding filling air holes, with sack rubbed finish, cleaning up loose and adhering debris including all materials labour etc. Complete as per specifications, drawings and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PART - I-D : STEEL REINFORCEMENT WORK
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying steel bars of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening,cutting,bending placing in position and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications,drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. PART - I-E : MASONRY WORK Notes: a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of autoclaved aerated cement blocks from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. b) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ pipe sleeves/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) Masonry wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm/ 150mm/ 115mm thick and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 using Ready Mix Mortar to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. d) The rate shall include cost of making autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 115mm/ 150mm/ 230mm thick AAC blocks as per approved manufacturer, using approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar in super structure above plinth level at all locations, levels & lead with RCC band at sill level and lintel level all complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for separately).
Total of Part- I - E - MASONRY WORK
PART -I-F : FLOORING WORK Notes: a) Adjustment of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department upto theoritical floor thickness of 50mm b) In case theoritical floor thicknes is increased to accommodate Raceways/ Electrical service boxes, additional bedding material beyond floor thickness of 50mm shall be paid extra in lean concrete as approved by EIC. c) The contractor shall submit and get approved the sample for flooring, skirting, dado tiles from Engineer in charge before bulk procurement. d) Pattern & design of flooring/ skirting/ dado shall be approved by the Engineer in charge before commencement of work. e) All Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the works like Kotah, Marble, Granite etc. shall be machine cut and shall have uniform thickness, moulded/ champered and mirror polished with high gloss finish as approved by Engineer in charge unless otherwise mentioned. f) The rate shall include cost of making Designs/ patterns in the flooring to all geometrical shapes/ curves of different radius and sizes with no extra cost to the Department. (Any curved design/ patterns in flooring/ Dado, tiles/ stones shall be cut using water jet at facory) g) All Kota stone work shall be mirror polished to get high gloss finish and the rate shall be inclusive of the same in the respective item. h) Wherever dissimilar floor finishes are placed adjacent 3mm thick x 25mm wide aluminium flat dividing strips shall be provided by the contractor without any additional cost to the Department. i) The sizes of tiles mentioned are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the required size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly. j) The contractor is to take appropriate step to protect the polishing surface/ glazed surfaces of granite stone, vitrified tiles, ceramic tiles flooring and pre polished kotah stone for tread and riser by providing and laying 6mm thick POP during construction period without any additional cost. The surfaces are to be cleaned only at the time of handing over.
Providing & laying at all floors & locations Glazed Vitrified tile double charge/ multi charge/ Ultra charge (Glossy/ Matt/ Satin finish) from approved manufacturers of sizes 600 x 600mm/ 800 x 800mm/ 1000 x 1000mm size conforming to IS 15622 in flooring/ skirting/ dado/ cladding at all floors and location, heights/ levels and lead in approved pattern and colour laid over Ready Mix Mortar bedding/ backing, including cleaning and preparing the surface for bedding, spreading the neat cement slurry, close jointed and grouted with matching coloured ready made cement grout and approved pigment as per manufacturer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings/ cut out if neccesary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge.
Glazed Vitrified tile (GVT series) / stonex finish vitrified tiles in flooring of size 800mm x800mm to 1000x1000mm of approved colour & make, laid over 20mm thick Ready Mix Mortar 1:4 bedding as per pattern shown in drawing, spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum cement about 2kg/sqm prior to bedding, spreading cement paste using minimum cement of about 4.50kg/sqm over bedding, including providing 3 mm thick, 8mm deep groutline using PVC spacers for creating true alignment and gap between vitrified tile & the 3mmspacer joints filled with approved epoxy tile grout including providing and laying Dura floor protector XF 3mm thick sheet of M/s. Supreme industries/ equivalent over the whole vitrified tile cleaning the same before handing over without damaging the finished surface & making good if damaged, if any including edge beading wherever required such as along the edges of vitrified tile flooring at locations shown in the drawing. ( Note: In case the tiles of prescribed sizes are not available, alternate tiles of nearby dimensions of area 0.64 sqm to 1.0 sqm shall be used as approved by EIC without additional cost to department).
Vitrified tile flooring of size 600mm x 600mm Matt/sattin matt finish/stonex series laid over 20mm thick Ready Mix Mortar 1:4 bedding as per pattern shown in drawing, spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum cement about 2kg/sqm prior to bedding and spreading cement paste using minimum cement of about 4.50kg/sqm over bedding, including 3 mm thick and 8mm deep grout line using PVC spacers for creating true alignment and gap between vitrified tile & the 3mm spacer joints filled with approved epoxy tile grout including providing and laying Durafloor protector XF 3mm thick sheet of M/s. Supreme industries/equivalent over the whole vitrified tile cleaning the same before handing over without damaging the finished surface & making good if damaged, if any including edge beading wherever required such as along the edges of vitrified tile flooring at locations shown in the drawing.
Glazed Vitrified tile skirting of 100mm high cut from tiles of size 600mm x 600mm to1000x1000mm glossy/ Matt finish of approved colour, matching with respective flooring, fixed over 12mm thick cement mortar 1:4 using Ready Mix Mortar backing.

Providing and laying water repellant ceramic tile of 6mm thick or as per specification of approved manufacturer and approved colour in Ready Mix Mortar backing, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings/ cutout if necessary, wastage and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- The sizes of tiles mentioned are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the required size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly.
In dado/ clading of size 300mm x 600mm with approved design/ pattern tile laid over 12 mm thick Ready Mix Mortar backing of 1:4, PVC corner beading/ nosing of approved quality and colour at the corner and edges of the tiles including finishing and embedding in the wall etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- charge.
In flooring with machine polished kotah stone slab of size 575mmx575mmx25mm thick laid over & including 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 bedding using Ready Mix Mortar as per pattern shown in drawing.
In skirting with machine polished kotah stone slab of size 575x100x20 mm thick fixed using 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 backing using Ready Mix Mortar.
Providing, laying and fixing in position at all floors and levels, machine cut, machine polished (mirror polish) Granite stone of approved colours minimum 18mm thick of approved quality and shade ( Asian Teak Granite/ Black Granite) for flooring/ skirting/ tread/ riser/Ramps/ Dado/ Facia etc. on brick/ concrete surface etc., with pre-polished granite stone ofrequired sizes, fixed over and including necessary mortar bedding/ backing coat, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry mixed with suitable pigments including fixingapproved stainless steel clamps / pins at suitable intervals and approved adhesive such asaraldite to ensure fixing of stone securely including making necessary recess in the granite stone to accommodate the hold for stainless steel clamps/ pins @ 600c/c on both directionsand using approved adhessive such as araldite to ensure the fixing of stone securedly,grouting the joints with approved pigments, curing, cleaning and final hand polishing etc.complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i)The tread and risers are to be polished at factory. The exact size are to be laid without any further polishing. ii) The grooves are to be cut at factory to maintain the gap uniform. Non uniform groove size and irregular gaps between grooves shall not be accepted and rejected forthwith. iii) Rate includes providing Mirror polished granite to full height of side walls as dado, cut from granite tiles as per pattern shown in drawings. iv) The contractor is to take appropriate step to protect the polishing surface of the floor,tread and riser by providing and laying 6mm thick POP during construction period. The surfaces are to be cleaned only at the time of handing over.
In flooring, with combination of Mirror polished and semi flamed Asian Teak granite of size 800mm x 800mm as per pattern (60% polished + 40 % semi flamed) as per specification, over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 bedding using Ready Mix Mortar, including cement slurry at 4.40 kg/sqm over bedding and matching slurry with white cement at 2.20 kg/sqm for grouting the joints.
In skirting, Dado, facia, slopped skirting, top of side wall/toe wall, etc. with mirror polished Asian Teak Granite/Black granite stone laid over 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 using Ready Mix Mortar including rounding in semicircle / champhering the edges etc.complete.
In treads with mirror polished approved quality Asian Teak granite stone in single piece upto 1500mm (approx), laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 using Ready Mix Mortar including rounding in semicircle(half round nosing) / champhering the exposed edges including providing three nos of antiskid grooves 5mm wide & 2mm deep and mirror polishing etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
In risers with mirror polished 18mm thick Black Granite stone in single piece upto 1500mm laid over and including 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 backing using Ready Mix Mortar.
In ramps with mirror polished 18mm thick Asian Teak granite stone, flamed finished in single piece strips and in border, of approx. size 1500mm x 150mm laid inclined over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding using Ready Mix Mortar with exposed edges nosed/ chamfered.
30 mm thick machine cut and both side machine polished Cuddaph stone for shelves including rubbing and polishing the exposed edges.
25 mm thick machine cut and one side machine polished Kota stone flooring including rubbing and polishing the exposed edges, fixed over 20mm thick ready mix CM 1:4 bedding.
Providing & laying machine cut machine polished natural stones as mentioned below for kitchen platform/ wash basin counter topping, vertical and Horizontal facia over and including necessary ready mix cement mortar for backing/ bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing etc. as required including cutting of stone slabs, wastages, making cut outs wherever required etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note : 1)Top exposed surface on plan & exposed vertical finished face shall be measured for payment in sqm.
For kitchen platform / wash basin counter top, upto 650mm wide and upto 2000 mm long in single piece in combination, consisting of machine cut machine polished on one side minimum 30 mm thick cuddappa stone at bottom and mirror polished machine cut 18 mm thick Jet black Granite stone at top fixed with 52 mm thick 1:4 ready mix cement mortar, between two stone slabs (Double stone slab sandwitch type) including providing cut out if any to fix Sink/ wash basin, including necessary cement paste, moulding and polishing the edges, providing required slope to drain away water, etc. complete.
For facia, in kitchen platform facia / wash basin counter facia upto 100 mm wide / 300 high vertical sides / or any other size as shown in the drawing, machine cut machine polished, on one side 18mm thick jet black Granite stone fixed with epoxy resin based adhessive (Araldite or equivalent), with clamp/ pins as per requirement, including round moulding and polishing the edges etc. complete.
For horizontal beading of size 40mm to 60mm wide * 18mm thick, On top of kitchen platform/ wash basin counter, with machine cut machine polished Jet black Granite stone fixed withe poxy resin base (Araldite adhesive or equivalent) including round moulding/pencil edge finish and polishing the edges, filling the gaps with adhessive etc. complete.
Providing & laying machine cut machine polished Cuddapah stones/granite stone in two pieces (sandwitch type) as mentioned below for kitchen platform vertical support/ wash basin Counter supports, including necessary cement mortar for backing/ bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing etc, as required including cutting of stone slabs, wastage, making cut outs wherever required etc. all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by EIC. Note : 1)Verticals,shelves,platform shall be embedded minimum 25 mm in brick/block / flooring. 2)Exposed finished surface only, shall be measured for payment. 3) The two stones errected for each vertical support shall be measured as a single unit under this item.
For vertical support of wash basin Counter/kitchen platform/shelves/Bag racks etc.,consisting of 2 nos 30 mm thick cuddappah stones, machine cut machine polished on exposed sides, placed back to back, sandwiched between the stones with 40 mm thick CM1:4 (Using factory made Ready Mix Plaster only).
For vertical support of Counter/ platform, consisting of 1 no 30 mm thick machine cut machine polished on one side cuddapah stone slabs and other side 18mm thick jet black granite stone back to back, sandwiched between the stones with 52 mm thick CM 1:4 (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) including rubbing and polishing of cut edges all in line, level, plumb etc. complete.
Providing machine mixing and laying in approved panels of 40mm thickness IPS flooring in cement concrete mix of 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 12.5 mm max. size with colouring pigment, at all level, well vibrated, compacted including providing and fixing 25mm x 3 mm thick aluminium dividing strip for panel of about 2 sqm size, to correct level and finished smooth and curing including preparation of surface by cleaning, hacking and exposing aggregate to achieve the best bond, all complete as per specification drawing & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cement plaster 20mm thick in skirting with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), in shafts etc. using factory manufactured pre-mix / ready mix mortar/ Ready mix plaster(RMP), of approved manufacturers including transporting, loading, unloading, mixing at site and applying as per manufacturer's specification, preparing the surface, finishing to correct line,level, plane, plumb including rounding of junctions with flooring, finishing with neat coat of cement, including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, curing, etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by Engineer in charge.
Providing laying and fixing in position precast cement concrete shot blasted combination Paver tile in flooring of approved 2 colours manufactured by M/s Super tiles & Marble Pvt.Ltd. or approved equivalent, laid over cement mortar 1:4 using Ready Mix Mortar, 20mm thick over existing PCC/ RCC and well consolidated subbase underneath, all as per manufacturer's specification and as per approved design, pattern, shade from the catalogue,including transporting to site, placing to proper line & level, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade including filling the joints cost of all material, labour,tools, complete all as per drawing, specifications etc, but excluding the cost of PCC which will be paid separately, as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Combi shot blasted tiles of Cement concrete grade not less than M35 using (minimum 35mmthick - 150 series) of approved two colors for Pargola areas, Open Play area, 900mm wide plinth protection alround building as per drawing and as instructed by Engineer-in-charge.
TOTAL OF PART -I-F : FLOORING WORK
PART I-G : DOORS AND WINDOWS Note: a) The items of door frames, window frames shall include sealing the joints all round with the masonry work/ concrete and doors or windows with approved mastic filler cement grout/ epoxy compound/polysulphide compound or by any other means whatsoever, by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints watertight. b) The work contemplated under the item for supplying and fixing the window/door frames shall be got done by the contractor through specialised agencies in the field, approved by the Department. c) One sample each of the door frame, shutter and window with all fittings and fixtures along with locking arrangement including glass panes etc. complete as per schedule of quantities drawing and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawings for windows, ventilators and steel door with frames showing dimensional details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-charge. After preliminary inspection, the sample should be fixed. Defects etc, if any shall be rectified to the full satisfaction of the Department and after obtaining formal approval in writing of Engineer in charge. d) Door frames, shutters and the windows to be supplied and fixed in position should cater the dimensional tolerance of the openings to an extent of (+/-) 2%. The rates quoted by the tenderers should hold good for such variation. Test shall be conducted by the Department for the flush doors as per IS-2202-1983 Part-I from each consignment and the cost incurred on this account shall be borne by the contractor. e) For bonding the flush doors, block boards, ply wood and all types of wood works, phenol- formal dehyde synthetic resin type adhesives conforming to IS-848-1957 shall be used. f) The rate shall include cost of making the doors & windows etc. in all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. g) Decorative veneer and lamination sheets if mentioned shall be hot pressed at factory during manufacturing of door shutters.

TOTAL OF PART : I-H : FITTING & FIXTURES:
PART - I-I : WATERPROOFING TREATMENT: a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer in Charge for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment is provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section10 (iii) of Conditions and Clauses of Contract - 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification with in a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/ defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over the Building/ flats, if found necessary by the Engineer in Charge. e) Wherever Cement motar is to be used it shall be with Ready mix mortar for all waterproofing work with suitable proportioning for richer mix.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc mixing with waterproofing compound as per IS : 2645 :2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of Readymix mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of Readymix mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar using readymix C.M 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry & making pattern of 300x300mm square 3mm deep or suitable to receive the China Mosaic waterproofing treatment wherever specified. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Extra for additional thickness of brick bat coba using ready mix mortar over and above standard average thickness of 115 mm. for effective slope wherever required.
Filling in bath, W/C, toilet, depressed areas with water proofing brick bat coba of the agency approved by the Dept. at all floors and locations upto the required level and making the surface finished suitable to receive floor finish etc. all complete as per drawings and waterproofing agency's specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C., Kitchen and the like consisting of : i) 1st course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4. PART I - J : PLASTERING WORK : Note: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams. e) Only Ready mix Mortar of approved make shall be used. For richer proportion additional cement to be added in required proportion.

Siamese Connections:
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Siamese connections having two numbers of 63 mm diameter G.M/SS inlet (instantaneous male coupling) along with one number 100 mm diameter C.I. double flange non return valve of rating PN 1.6 conforming to IS 5312 with G,.M working parts, and fittings all connected to 100 mm diameter GI pipe with necessary fittings including blank caps, flanges and joints, welding etc. and supplying and fixing of inlet housing box made out of 14 gauge M.S Sheet with angle and frame of suitable size and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of approved primer over pipes and housing box and white enamel paint inside housing box complete in all respects as per specification and as instructed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Hose Reel With Drum: Providing & fixing rubber hose reel of 20 mm diameter x 37 m along with swinging drum along with high pressure braided rubber hose conforming to IS 884 including 8 mm diameter SS cut off nozzle on one end, wall mounting type, necessary brackets suitable for wall mounting, fixing on downcomer including connecting the other end to the downcomer by providing necessary connecting nipple/coupling, nuts, bolts etc. and providing & fixing 20 mm dia G.M. peet valve of approved make all complete including painting (the drum and brackets shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside) & as shown and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hose Cabinet: Supply, installation & commissioning of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet metal hose cabinet of size 750x650x250 mmor appropriate for accomodating 02 nos. of hose pipes (measured & paid seperately under relevent SOQ item) and SS-304 branch pipe with nozzle. The box shall have front glass door lock with angle iron frame. The hose pipe box shall be fixed with Hilti make Anchor Fastner on the wall or nut bolts (in case of stand in open space) as shown in the drawing and as directed by EIC. The MS box shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside. The scope also includes supplying of gun metal / stainless steel branch pipe of 63 mm dia. fitted with detachable hexagonal nozzle of 19 mm dia. conforming to IS : 903 or universal pattern as per IS : 2871. The branch pipe with detachable nozzle shall be placed in the hose cabinet complete in all respect as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hose Pipe(For Hydrants, Landing Valve): Supply and installation of Unlined Flax Canvas (hose pipe) for fire fighting conforming to RRL fire hose type A or Synthetic Fibre Woven-Jacket (SFWJ) Elastomeric fire hose type B conforming to IS:636 all with ISI marks as required and of approved make and of 63 mm dia & 15 mtrs length, fitted with male and female SS coupling confirming to IS:903, ISI marks with guaranteed bursting pressure of 35.7 kg/sq.cm and complete as per the technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Each set shall comprise of 2 hose pipes.
Pressure Guages: Supply, installation testing and commisioning of pressure gauges of SS material with dial not less than 150 mm dia of appropriate range and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and duly tested after installation as per drawing and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Air Release Valve: Providing and fixing 20/25/40/50 mm dia (dia shall be as applicable as per relevant IS code) (PN - 1.6, Type-S1, Flanged, ISI marked) air release valve conforming to IS - 14845 : 2000 with Double Flange isolating valve (pressure rating PN 1.6) including making necessary flanged joints and providing all fitting materials nuts, bolts etc. and providing T on the pipeline for its installation at site all as per technical specification, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Orifice Plate: Design, supply and fixing stainless steel orifice plate of not less than 6 mm thick having suitable bore for reducing the pressure at the fire hydrant outlet as per fire brigade requirement and to restrict the operating pressure within 3.5 kg/sq.cm. at the fire hydrant outlet. The orifice plate shall be fixed in position & it shall be fitted between the flanges. The orifice plates shall have test certificate and calibrated to give the required pressure, complete all as per specification, drawings & as directed by E.I.C.
Valve Chamber: Construction of brick masonary valve chambers of following sizes comprising of 230 mm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick cement concrete of grade M-15 for foundation with 150 mm offset all round, including providing and fixing C.I. steps / foot rests / rungs each weighing not less than 5 Kg. first step at 450 mm from top of cover, remaining @ 300 mm centre to centre staggered with 380 mm spacing, painting etc. racking out joints & plastering in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick both on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement, providing 100 mm thick RCC slab casted in M.S. angle box frame (Galvanised) of 25 mm x 25 mm x 4 mm size in three equal pieces with reinforcement weighing not less than 100 kg/cu.m, fabricated M.S. angle all around & M.S. galvanised flat stiffners including formwork as per drawing etc. complete with lifting hooks at top, providing and fixing C.I. circular surface box weighing not less than 14 kg. over the RCC slab for key rod operation, painting all as per specifications and directions of EIC including dewatering the pit, if required till completion of the work.

Fire Extinguisher:
Proividing & fixing of Dry Chemical Powder (ABC) type fire extinguisher of 04 Kg capacity either portable or trolley mounted as per approved make fitted with pressure indicating gauge, internal tube, squeeze lever type valve fully charged with ABC powder (Mono Ammonium Phosphate) pressured by Nitrogen complete in all respects including wall suspension bracket and conforming to IS 15683-2006. The Fire extinguisher shall be supplied and placed without any damage, scratches and loss of accessories as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing & fixing of, CO2 type fire extinguisher of 4.5 Kg capacity either portable or trolley mounted, highly effective against B & C class of fire, having ISI certification mark, having flat base including valve, discharge hose & complete in all respects including initial fill with CO2 gas conforming to IS 15683:2006, wall suspension bracket as required & as per instructions of Engineer In Charge. The Fire extinguisher shall be supplied and placed without any damage, scratches and loss of accessories as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Foundation For Pump: Providing and laying Design-Mix Reinforced Cement Concrete foundation (design and drawing to be provided by contractor) for fire fighting pump of M-20 by weight batching using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including mechanical mixing and vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. as specified and also including dewatering, if any, cost of form work, shuttering & steel reinforcement, including nozing all around by 50 x 50 x 5 mm angle, all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directd by EIC.
Fire Bucket Supply and placing of fire sand bucket filled with dry and clean sand to be kept on floor or wall hook confirming to IS 2546. The fire bucket shall be galvanized mild steel of 9 litres capacity. The bucket shall be provided and placed as per instruction of EIC.
Bucket Stand Providing floor mounting stand for keeping 2 Nos. of FIRE buckets of 1000mm in length, 900mm in height, frame made out of 30x30x4 mm M.S. angle, rectangular bottom frame with cross supports for legs, suitable G.I. pipe shall be welded on the top end of of legs with 2 hooks on GI pipe for sand buckets and duly painted with one coat of red oxide and two coats of black paint all complete as per the given drawing, specifications or instruction of Engineer-In-Charge (E.I.C.)

Remote ON / OFF P.B. Station: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 14 SWG MS CRCA sheet, remote ON/OFF push button enclosure, with ON / OFF indication lamps, IP 42, wall mounting type, powder coated with RAL 7032 shade complete with internal wiring with 1.5 sq.mm copper PVC FRLS wires etc. Note: 1) ON - OFF indication lamps shall be heavy duty LED type, 240V, 50 Hz 2) PB station shall be lockable type to prevent unauthorize operation of booster pump.
M.V.CABLES Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated, inner sheath PVC tapped, extruded FRLS PVC outer sheath, GI strip / wire armoured, multistranded Aluminium / copper conductor power cable confirming to IS : 1554 part I/IS 7098 part-1 with upto date amendments, fixed on wall/column/slab/false ceiling or in existing hume pipe/trench/ shaft/pit/ on 5mm thick M.S. flat /GI spacer/angle/ support fixed with coach screws/grouted in wall/anchor fasteners 2mm. thick G.I. Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles all complete as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C & of the following sizes. The space between the two support shall be 600mm. approx.

Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles etc. providing brass cable number tag as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C .The scope also includes end connections at both ends with glands etc. as required. 3 C x 2.5 sq.mm
Earthing System: 4 SWG GI strip/wire fixed to wall/side of trench/ slab/column/beam/shaft with 5mm thick G.I spacers & GI saddles or on existing cable tray etc.
