SCHEDULE A BOQ

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC any section, incl taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground posts embedded in concrete brick masonary etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5cum getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25CM, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as sepcifiedand as directed

Cement concrete type B-2, 1:2:4 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete including demolish of existing concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down barbed wire fencing of any description and in any position fixed to RCC/ steel posts complete all as specified and directed by Egineer-in-Charge Note : Each row shall be measured sepately.

Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm di barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spcing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvansied mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc complete all a spcified and as directed.

PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copping etc including demolish of existing concrete complete all as specified an directed.

Welded steel wire fabric ,size 25mmx25mm,thick 4mm, cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise described complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolled mild steel in framed work as in doors or steel gates of angle or other section ith gusset plates, etc drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as speciifed and as directed

Famed work such as grills gratings, etc with ends of bar shouldered and / or revited or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railing frame work of water tanks and similar works confirming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specifid and as directed.

Mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as drilling holes for notching of wire, etc flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required hooks (stay) heavy for large gates, hook and pintle hinges large hasps and staples, chains hand made sliding bolts, clamps, hold fasts, wall ties, hooks for hanging fans, plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters knee piece inserts, two way and three way straps washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165

Repair to transformer after disconnecting in coming HT connection and out going LT cable connection, draining out the transformer oil and keep in safe custody for reuse, disconnecting the breather assembly, temperature gauge, taking out the top cover of transformer 500 KVA, outdoor type, 11KV/433 Volt, step down, disconnecting LT/HT winding connections from LT/HT Bushing and carefully taking out LT/HT Bushing insulator and HT/LT Brass spindle, taking out gaskets of LT/HT Bushings and transformer top cover. Refixing exisiting LT/HT Brass spindle with Bushing insulators after replacing Gaskets, View glass of conservator tank, refixing all cable connections, top cover with new gasket, breather/temp gauge, refilling transformer oil, complete all as directed.

Note: (i) Transformer oil for topup, dehydration/filtration etc work will be measured and paid separately.

(ii) Complaints regarding Transformer will be given in person or through telephone by AGE/JE E/M round the clock (ie 24 Hrs x 7 days).

(iii) The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately. and shall report the Engr-in-Charge/JE( E/M) after completion.

(iv) Penalty of Rs 5000.00 per Job shall be applicable to the contractor if the complaint is not attended immediately. Note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(v) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding.

(vi) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC and the same complaint shall be completed with in the period decided by the GE/EIC.The penalty of Rs 5000/ per Job shall also be applicable to the contractor for non-completion of complaint with in the time decided by the GE/EIC.

(vii) Transportation charges for transportation of transformer from site to workshop and after repair, workshop to site shall be borne by the contractor and cost thereof including tools and plants shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

(viii) Transformer oil shall be drained out by the contractor in suitable capacity mild steel drums to be arranged by the contractor. The said drained out transformer oil shall be refilled in the transformer duly dehydrated after repair and the cost thereof shall be included in unit rate quoted against the respective item of this schedule.

(ix) Testing of transformer after repair shall be carried out as per IS 2026 (Part 1): 2011 at site in the presence of E-in- Charge/ JE and the cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted against this item. (g) The IR value of the dried winding before inserting the core in the shell shall be measured and recorded.

Taking out existing old unserbvicable/burnt gang operated switches or DO fuse assys complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Switch air break, gang operated, out door type, triple pole, HT 11000 volts, 200 Amps, vertical type with 3 insulators mounted with fixed contacts of phospor bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including mild steel galvanised light grade 25mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangement, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Make : PACTIL/JAIPURIA

Drop out expulsion fuse assembly with fuse carrier, triple pole HT 11000 Volts, 200 Amps, out door type (having two Nos post insulators mounted on MS Channel for each pole ) all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Make : PACTIL/JAIPURIA

Lightening arrestors Expulsion type complete with all fitting, transmission class, discharge capacity 5 kilo Amps suitable for 9000 Volts and connecting to earth wire complete all as directed including taking down the u/s bursted lightning arrestors from OH structure.

Dismantling/taking down of insulators of any type/size from HT/LT poles/DOs/GODs complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Post type, HT 11 KV insulators suitable for GO/DO switch, duly tested and including making connections with proper size of thimbles complete all as specified and directed.

Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia. for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified.

Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145 mm high and 255mm dia, ball & socket type, white, brown or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified.

Servicing the existing Drop out fuse assembly, of capacity 200 Amps, 11 KV, 3 Pole, including replacing worn out/ rusted nuts, bolts, clamps, washers, etc. and providing coloured sleaves for jumper connections complete.

Taking out and repairing / overhauling of air break gang operated switch 200 Amp, 11 KV capacity triple pole mechanically operated mounted on insulators and steel frame installed vertically / horizontally, replacement of broken/ worn-out components, oiling and greasing of mechanical moving parts, smoothing and polishing of electric contacts with providing conducting jelly on contacts re-fixed the same after repair complete including new nut bolts and washer etc all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rate by contractor shall include the serviceable parts in position and replacement of U/S parts with new one.

Painting using heat resisting paint in two coats (one as finishing) over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on external surface of transformer of rating upto 100 KVA using Ist quality paint and applying through spray gun machine on specified working pressure incl writing of MES/SM No using different colour including writing letter in given size etc after removing/scrapping/rubbing to old fedded paint and filler filling etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note- Quoted unit rate shall be deemed included cost of writing letters & filling depresion by using putty, complete Colour & shade shall be approved by Engr-in-charge)

Cleaning the vegetation around two/four pole structure & transformer yard , sub stn and generator rooms etc all as directed at site

Repairing, overhauling, Servicing & testing of Vaccum circuit breaker 11 KV, 400 Amps, 250 MVA, 13.10 KA, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC Supply system, indoor type for trouble free operation, metal clad totally enclosed free standing floor mounted type, trolly mounted vaccum circuit breakers, draw out type HT VCBs including the following works complete all as specified and directed. Make of VCB : System Control-04 Nos Location - Sub Stn 'C', AREVA -05 Nos Location - MRS

Note : (a) The rate for following shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(b) The entire job shall be carried out through the authorised service engineers of the OEM only.

(c) Servicing of Spout insulators safety shutter for effective covering by automatically open/close while draw in/draw out operations.

(d) Servicing of 3 Phase epoxy base isolating spout assemblies complete with isolating contacts and a pair of automatic safety shutter individually locking system.

(e) Servicing of Breaker with motor charging asembly including motor and control switches having standard safety interlocks and locking facilities, mechanical operating connector lever and extendable rails to easily draw out/in the VCB trolly from the panels.

(f) Servicing of Mech (caster lock) and elect inter locking system.

(g) Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any.

(h) Replacement of PT Fuse

(j) Replacement of unserviceable spare parts will be measured and paid for separately.

(k) Any other spare parts which have not covered in the relevant items but are required to make in functional condition are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.

(l) Cost of labour element towards removing of unserviceable spare parts and re-fixing of serviceable spare parts for supply only items here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Supply only spare parts shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only against Item No. 41 above, Digital Microprocessor based 2 element over current and 1 element earth fault relay and high set IDMT relay, including necessary control wiring all as directed.

Supply only against Item No. 41 above, Electrical closing coil 110 volt DC operated all as directed.

(Note- Given caution shall be written in two language i.e Tamil and English and quoted rate shall be deemed included cost of letter writing & conventional skull & bones figure).

Repairing, overhauling, Servicing & testing of RMUs, 11 KV, 20 KA, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC Supply system, outdoor type for trouble free operation, consisting of one/two incomming and one/two outgoing with SF6 gas filled VCB/ LBS/Fuse units, metal clad totally enclosed free standing floor mounted, non draw out type including the following works complete all as specified and directed. Make of RMU : ABB (Note : The Work shall be carried out through the authorised service engineers of the OEM only) (a) Servicing of Manual operated, 11kV, three position load break switch with snap-action knife blade mechanism along with associated earthing switch (ii) Servicing of true position mechanical indication of switch position ON, OFF and EARTH on the front facia of the panel for proper indication (b) (e) Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any.

Supply only Electrical Rubber hand gloves as per ISI specification for operating voltage 11 KV.

Dismantling of existing old cross arms etc made of mild steel channel, angle iron, flat iron, back plates, nuts, bolts, washers etc all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural mild steel sections conforming to Fe-410-0 grade including necessary nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape and size as directed and including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces complete all as specified.

Loose filling of 40 mm graded stone aggregates in plinths of out door transformer, sub stns, panel boards yard complete all as directed.

Removing cable, HT 11 KV, XLPE, 3 core, with aluminium conductor of any size, shifting to other location (near 2 KM around) and relaying same cable in trenches/through pipes or bare in road crossings/ paths/drains/ducts/ floors /along poles/walls/ ceilings/ equipments etc. all as directed. The unit rate is deemed to be included for :- (a) Excavation for taking down existing cable, shifting of cable as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and relaying cable in other location. (b) Disposal and return filling (c) Sand cushioning and PCC cover measured separatley

Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV Type 1, flat size 300mm x 180 mm x 40 mm thick.

Disconnecting in coming HT and out going LT cable connections and taking down Transformer of any type/size/make/capacity from 2/4 Pole structure or from floor/pedestal and shifting to new location with in 3 KM and install where directed, refixing HT/LT cable connections complete all as directed.

Dehydration/Filteration of HV grade Transformer oil of transformer/switch gears minimum three cycles to achieve dielectric strength not less than 40 KV for 1 minute with 2.5 mm Gap as per IS 335-1983 for HV grade including topping up with new transformer oil all as directed. Note:- (i) Centrifuging Machine with all T & P and testing machine of oil, required for dehydration shall be arranged by contractor (ii) Oil required for topping up the transformer will be measured & paid separately.

Supply and replacement or topping up of transformer Oil HV as per IS 335 of 1983 Part II after dehydration & testing and dielectric strength not less than 40 KV complete all as spceified and directed. Note :- The transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrel and shall confirm to IS -335 (including all amendments upto date)

Repairing, overhauling, Servicing & testing of Vaccum circuit breaker 11 KV, 630 Amps, 250 MVA, 66 KA Peak, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC Supply system, indoor type for trouble free operation, and VCBs are for Incomming , Bus copler& Bus riser and Outgoings ,metal clad totally enclosed free standing floor mounted type,and vaccum circuit breakers, draw out type HT VCBs including the following works complete all as specified and directed:- Make of VCB : ABB, Model NO V Max 12.12.25 Location - MAFI PS-I, PS-II & MRS

Note : (a) The rate for following shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply only tinned copper fuse wire of 18 SWG to 38 SWG (approx) in roll of 100/200/ 250 grms

Supply only discharge rod with clamps and cable suitable working on 11 KV line.

Note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. Repairing, overhauling, servicing and testing of compact secondary substation non-walk in type 11 KV/ 433V, 630 KVA consisting of following components :-

(i) Compact type HT switch gears (type-VVV) of three Nos VCBs, 11KV, 630Amp, 21KA (two incoming and one outgoing) with SF6 gas insulated and over current, short circuit current and earth fault protection release.

(ii) Oil type transformer copper wound, 630KVA, 11KV/ 433V Dyn11 - 01 No.

(iii) LT panel 433V with aluminium bus bar of 1200 Amps, LT Air Circuit Breaker 1000 Amps, 4 Pole , 50Hz, 50KA with microprocessor based release for over current, short circuit current and earth fault protection – 03 Nos (Two incoming and one out going) Location : LCA Hangers No 1, Hanger No 2, Hanger No 3 Make of CSS – Siemens

Note : (a) The rate for following shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

(b) Servicing of Spout insulators safety shutter for effective covering by automatically open/close while draw in/draw out operations.

(c) Servicing of 3 Phase epoxy base isolating spout assemblies complete with isolating contacts and a pair of automatic safety shutter individually locking system.

(d) Servicing of Breaker with motor charging asembly including motor and control switches having standard safety interlocks and locking facilities, mechanical operating connector lever and extendable rails to easily draw out/in the VCB trolly from the panels.

(e) Servicing of Mech (caster lock) and elect inter locking system.

(f) Checking and tightening control wiring and rectifying the defects if any.

(j) Any other spare parts which have not covered in the relevant items but are required to make in functional condition are deemed to be included in the quotrd unit rate.

(k) Cost of labour element towards removing of unserviceable spare parts and re-fixing of serviceable spare parts for supply only items here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Supply only spare parts shall be measured and paid separately.

80 mm bore of pipe high density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/ cm2 laid in trenches for cable protection passing under road/ floor or for fixing to poles including cutting any type road and making good damaged/ cutting portion with existing specification complete all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying of cable and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan for poles, struts, stays etc. and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning and filling of trenches in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtained from excavated soil upto depth of 30cm (8cm below cable and remaining above cable) for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS 1255-1983 and refilling in trenches as in cable cushioning.

Returning,filling in,including spreading,levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as spd

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Protection to cable with one layer of Fly ash bricks laid flat butting to each other in such a way that the length of the bricks is at right angle to the central axis of the cable.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 8-10 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation. Make : Model HTSP 3I7 of safe Trode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ENNOV/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre in 02 canes (5 ltrs per cane) for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iii) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( The rate of earthing strip up to 7.5 Mtrs is included in the quoted rate).

(iv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(v) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(vi) Testing of earth shall be carried out along with the departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer for his entire satisfaction.

(vii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(x) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xi) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiii) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(xiv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ENNOV/ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end

Painting using heat resisting paint in two coats (one as finishing) over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on external surface of transformer of rating above 250 KVA using Ist quality paint and applying through spray gun machine on specified working pressure incl writing of MES/SM No using different colour including writing letter in given size etc after removing/scrapping/rubbing to old fedded paint and filler filling etc complete all as specified and directed. Attending, Repairing/restoring of electric power supply in the AF Stn Sulur area, after identifying fault in HT 11 KV , RMU,VCB, four pole structure, transformers, Over head lines in any section or circuit, including checking of insulators, lightning arresters, GODs and all electrical accessories and making it serviceable in all respect including replacement of nut, bolt, washers and minor parts/spares, insulation tapes and cable sockets of any size. The work also include checking, detection and rectifcation of HT UG Cable faults using by Cable fault Locater at AF Area as and when directed.

Note : (i) Hiring of cable fault detector to locate exact position of HT UG Cable fault, deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate.

(ii) Major items required to be replaced/repaired will be measured under relevant items of schedule

(iii) Excavation and earth work if required will be measured separately.

(iv) Complaints will be given in person or through telephone by AGE/JE E/M round the clock (ie 24 Hrs x7 Days) . The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report the Engr-in-Charge/JE E/M after completion with in 6 hrs

(v) Penalty of Rs 500.00 per Job shall be applicable to the contractor if the complaint is not attended with in 6 hrs. (vii) Contractors representative/Engineer will report to JE E/M in charge or AGE E/M at fore noon and after noon to collect routine/urgent works till completion of work.

(viii) The transportation/ T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid for the same.
