Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Bituminous surface. (Using RS - 1 grade Packed Bitumen emulsion @ 0.25 kg per sqm.)
Bituminous Macadam using Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.7 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature by means of approved and suitable arrangements to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Grading 1 (40 mm nominal size, 80-100 mm thick.) Tentative quantity of Pakur variety stone materials required per m³ of compacted volume: 26.5 mm size chips @ 0.2831 m³/m³, 22.4mm size chips @ 0.4245 m³/m³, 11.2mm size chips @ 0.4245 m³/m³, 5.6mm size chips @ 0.1415 m³/m³, stone dust with grit @ 0.1415m³/m³. & Bitumen (VG-30 Pkd.) @ 72.00 Kg./m³ (Payment to be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)
Providing, laying and rolling of Open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm size (@ 0.018 m³ per m²) and 11.2 mm size (@ 0.009 m³ per m²) Pakur variety stone aggregates, including thoroughly cleaning of the surface, screening, cleaning and pre-heating stone chips and fully pre-coating the same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen [VG - 30 (Pkd.)] @ 1.46 kg / m2 carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangements, laying the mixture uniformly over the surface with pre application of tack coat using bitumen emulsion M.S. (Pkd.), including line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and thoroughly rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades including the cost and carriage of stone chips and matrix, heating the matrix, preheating the aggregates to required temperature and including the hire charges of Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and other machinery, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 for Rural Roads of MORD.
Providing and laying Premixed Seal Coat (Type B) with Pakur variety Stone grit @ 0.6 m3/ 100 m2 and bitumen binder on thoroughly cleaned black top surface coated with tack coat, including heating and mixing cleaned grit (100 % passing through 2.36 mm sieve and retained on 180 micron sieve) uniformly with bitumen binder, laying and spreading the mix at an uniform rate using suitable means, brushing the surface, if necessary, to ensure uniformity, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and aggregates, cost of heating the binder and aggregates and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 511 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). By Manual Means With Hot Bitumen Binder VG - 30 (Pkd.) (@ 6.80 kg / 10 sqm.). Over freshly laid premixed surface with out tack coat.
Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
Raised Profile Edge Markings with Reflectorised Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound on Bituminous Road surfaces. Providing and laying of Raised Profile Edge Markings with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Road Markings along with Drop on Glass Beads as per the Provisions laid in IRC 35-2015, the height of the rib should be 8mm for normal roads and it may extend up to 11 mm in case of expressway, the general gap between each rib shall vary between 200-500mm. The gap between the rib is to be decided by Engineer-in-Charge depending on the category of the road. Following are the specifications of the material to.be adopted for the provision of Rib Line Edge Marking as per the Australian Standard AS 4049.2-2005 1. Colour: White - Equivalent to or whiter thanY35 off white (AS2700S).Yellow - Equivalent to or whiter thanY14 golden yellow (AS2700S). 2. Luminance: Not less than 75% 3. Softening Point: 100-110 degree Celsius (AS 2314.18) 4. Initial Retro reflectivity: Minimum 250 mod/lux/m2 5. Retro reflectivity after one month: Minimum 150 mod/luxlm2 6. Skid Resistance: Minimum 45 BPN 7.Binder: 18-20%by weight 8. Glass Beads: 20% by weight 9. Mineral Content: 50-60% by weight ( including aggregate, pigment & extender)
Retro-Reflectorised Traffic Signs Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). 90 cm equilateral triangle

Supplying & fixing of Raised pavement Markers/Road Studs/Cats eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT& H’s specification for Road & Bridge works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm, width shall not exceed 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degre. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/ international laboratory conforming the above specifications.
