Notes for Serial item No 1 to 4 :- (i) Minor repair includes all the periodical preventive maintenance such as greasing, oiling, tightening of nuts and bolts of DG sets / Incinerator and tightening of loose connections in starters and panels and replacing thimbles, rubber coupling etc. (ii) The contractor shall carryout the periodical maintenance every 30 days as per SOP and as directed by Engineer-in-charge and shall make a record of the same. The contractor shall prepare daily check sheet and log sheet and same shall be held at all the installations and. The log sheet shall be verified by the JE E/M and shall be produced to Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Contractor shall collect “DHPP(N) Fuel” from MES store yard or from collection point as decided by Engineer-in-charge. Vehicle for the transportation of “DHPP (N) Fuel” from MES store yard or from collection point up to installations shall be provided by the Department free of cost to the contractor. (iv) All installations shall be kept neat and clean all the time. (v) First Aid Box with basic medicines to be kept in main installation by the contractor. (vi) All the employees should have passed the ITI / NCT / VTcertificate / two years experience in requisite trade.The contractor is required to submit the ITI Pass certificate / experience certificate of all the employees to the Engineer-in-charge as desired to deploy on the installations. (vii) All types of T&P including digging tools required for day to day requirement shall be provided by contractor and all workers shall report to AGE E/M office daily with tools etc provided by the contractor. (viii) Bidders may please note that the rate quoted for outsourcing work shall not less than the minimum wages circulated by Chief Labour Commissioner, GOI, Min of Labour, New Delhi for Suratgarh (Class 'C' City) Plus ESI (EPF) & GST applicable to the bidder. Copy of applicable rate for ESI / EPF & GST shall be forwarded by the bidder alongwith bid documets cover 1. If the rate quoted by the bidder is lower than the applicable minimum wages + ESI / EPF + GST the same will be treated as 'Non-Bonafide' & the offer will not be considered for acceptance.

Taking out electric motor ,3 phase, 415 volts, AC, any capacity from foundation, all electric connection etc and servicing of motor including oiling greasing and replacement of the unserviceable parts like bearing, brunt copper winding, terminal plate etc and reassembling after repair the motor and fixed in its original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - (i) Major parts like bearing terminal cover plate, rewinding if required shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under respective items of BOQ. (ii) The unit rate includes the replacement of minor parts like copper lugs / thimble, Nuts, bolts, washers terminal connection plate and transportation cost if required for refixing the motor shall be provided by the contractor, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Note : - (i) Cost for transportaion to workshop and carry back to site after repair is inlcuded in the unit rate of item nothing extra shall be paid on this acount. (ii) Iron stainer, bronze impeller, gun metal bushes stainless steel sleeve, impeller key and thrust bearing if required for replacement shall be paid separetly against respective items of BOQ as "Supply only". S&F Mild steel framed work as in doors or gates, valve pit covers of angle or other sections, MS sheet covers , hinges, locking and fastening arrangement including welding and painting with one coat of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for perparation of surface of sheet metal cover of valve pit chamber (100cm x 110cm) by removing old unserviceable paint by one coat of synthetic enamel weather proof paint from inside and outside complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for two coat of white wash on valve pit chamber inside of any size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F acrylic plate, blue base size 40 cm x 50 cm including printing of machinery specifications (i.e. name, make / model, capacity, date of installation, location etc) fixed to wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal size 110cm x 110cm x 110cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock including taking down old valve pit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :- (i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Three coats of white wash to internal surfaces of valve pit. (vi) Depth of valve pit shall be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note :- A sum of Rs. 71726/- will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
