Construction of Grenade Range at 3AFRU Chandan and Soil testing details of borehole location near additional traverse wall at sierra Sqn, Technical Area at AF Stn Jaisalmer Soil Investigation at Grenage Range at 3 AFRU Chandan (a) Rest Room/Store Room with Wash Room and Garage for B Vehicle - 02 Nos (b) Grenade Bombing Range with 3 Room, 2 Priming bay and 2 Throwing bay - 02 Nos. (c) Control Tower - 01 Nos. (d) Total No of Bores - 05 Nos Brief specification of work at Grenade Range (a) Complete Soil Investigation for:- (i) Borelog - Strata & Property of Soil. (ii) Max density with heavy compaction water table. (iii) Water Table. (iv) Swelling/expensive soil and its extent. (v) SBC & SPT Depth 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 Mtr. 2. Complete Soil Investigation at sierra Sqn, Technical Area at AF Stn Jaisalmer:- (a) No of Bore Holes – 2. (b) Test Room Shall include the following at sierra Sqn :- (i) Bore Depth up to 6.0 m depth or reversal which ever is less. (ii) Lab and field test report. (iii) Profiles incl swell characteristics. (iv) Safe bearing capacity along with recommendation for foundation. (v) Atterbergs limit. (vi) C&O Values undrained consolidation and drained consolidation. (vii) SPT for N value. (viii) OMC & MDD Test. (ix) Water Table. (x) Precautionary mesure if any Note:- 1. Soil Exploration upto 6.0 Mtr depth. 2. All relevent tests for above recommendation are to be done as per IS and reported with details.
