SITE CLEARANCE, AREA DEVELOPMENT, EXCAVATION & EARTHWORK
Removing excavated material (any type) and depositing it outside Ministry of Defence Land. Note: (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. No extra claim what-so-ever shall be entertained on this account. (ii) This item shall be considered as per the requirement at site.
DEMOLITION / DISMANTLING
Taking down copper/Aluminium point wiring (Light, fan, socket or power) complete including fixture and fitting such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. Removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for tanking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately ) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls floors, etc all as specified and directed.
Taking down carefully by unscrewing from boards/outlet boxes, fittings and fixtures such as switches,sockets, ceiling roses, lamp holders, brackets, ceiling fittings, bulk head fittings, tube light fittings and regulators, etc. for reuse at site or carrying to the store (To be measured only when found serviceable in all respects complete for reuse)
Taking down all type of old unserviceable MCB DBs etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing & commissioning of 13 Passengers Lifts suitable to serve Each G+4 upper floors with Regenerative AC variable voltage & variable frequency (VVVF drive) drive complete with all standard accessories, simplex collective automatic & manual dual controlled operation with/without attendant, automatic centre opening doors with VVVF door drive (electric motor driven mechanism), sliding stainless steel doors, automatic rescue device (ARD) system, 3D infra red sensor in full height of door & built in announcing system without hand set (03 Nos, one each in car & near Ground floor landing door and one with hand set in machine room) complete all as specified and directed. Note :Lift OEM to submit detailed specification/design parameters, construction drgs of all components of lifts as per IS-14665 for approval of accepting officer before execution of work. GE and Engineer-in-Charge shall ensure that detail drawing shall be forwarded to this Headquarter for approval with recommendation within one month of issue of work order. (a) Type of Lifts : 13 Passengers. (b) Load capacity: 884 Kgs. (c) Speed : 1.5 mtr/sec with single speed motor. (d) Power Supply: 415 volts, 3 phase AC, 50 Hz. (e) Type of Drive : Regenerated AC variable voltage & variable frequency drive alongwith converter unit. The generated power shall be used to charge the battery of UPS and ARD and emergency light. (f) Type of Machine: Low inertia gearless permanent magnet synchronous motor, directly coupled horizontal traction machine. (g) Car size (inside): Not less than 2.20 Sqmm.
(h) Car door and landing door at all floor: Automatic centre opening with WVVF door drive, opening size not less than 900mm x 2000mm, sliding type, fabricated by stainless steel sheet not less than 16 gauge having hairline finish (N-304). (j) Car enclosure :(i) Manufactured with stainless steel sheet not less than 16 gauge with hair line finish (N-304), having stainless steel false ceiling with hairline finish, Internal lighting arrangement with 04 Nos LED light for commercial supply and one No LED for emergency light each 11 watt light fitting complete, internal ventilation system provided with concealed arial flow/cross flow fan with auto cut off system and stainless steel grill/wire mesh for protection. (ii) Provision of standard thickness stainless steel hand rail 40mm dia all around inside the car cabin. (k) Terminal buffers : Metal special spring buffers as per manufacturer specification. The buffing stroke shall not be less than 200mm. (l) Door opening (Inside): Protected by centre opening stainless steel doors. with hairline finish doors with clear opening size not less 900 x 2000mm. (m) Car & counter weight Guide: Guide rails of "T Section Mild steel as per OEM design. Counter weight shall be cast iron as recommended by OEM. (n) Flooring: Aluminium chequered plate 5mm thick.
(o) Signals (i)Combined luminous hall buttons with LCD/VFD hall position indicators at all floor. (ii) (LCD/VFD for car position indicator to be fitted in COP made of stainless steel. (iii) (One No car operating panel with luminous buttons in car (stainless steel), (iv) Car direction indicator in car & Landing (v) Battery operated alarm bell & emergency light (rechargeable) along with suitable maintenance free battery. (This system should be separate from ARD batteries). (vi) Overload warming feature in car cabinet(Display & announcing both type). (vii) Fireman's switch one No per lift to be installed at ground Floor near landing door. (xi) Hoist-Way: Construction details as per building drawings (xii) The interior of the car should be provided with a device that audibly indicates the floor position of lift car has reached and indicates that car entrance/exit door is open or closed. (p) Stops & Opening: 05-05 (All opening on same side). (q) Safety Device: (i) Automatic rescue devise (ARD)/Automatic landing device with maintenance free battery having suitable capacity. The batteries must have auto charging facilities. The charger input be connected with converter of Regenerative drive. ii) The ARD actuation time should be less than one second after failure of power supply and when ARD is operative the car should stop the nearest floor and then open. (iii) Make of ARD: ADICON/ YASKAWA/ SIEMENS/ L&T/ OTIS/ GE/ HUNDAI/ TOSHIBA/ FUJI/ OEMs own make. (r) Operation: Simplex, full collective automatic operation with/without attendant. COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF LIFTS
Comprehensive maintenance and repair of fully automatic electrically operated fire elevator lift of any make installed against BOQ Item No. 24.01 in building (G+4 Upper Floors), (Total 02 Lift) comprising of all devices and accessories through out 12 months on all days including holidays for period of 03 years after expiry of defects liability period as shown below and all as specified and directed by GE. Note : Contractor shall carryout comprehensive maintenance (routine, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly) as per attached Performa and maintain all the lifts in serviceable condition 24 hrs x 365 days with out any extra cost.
(a) 1st year after expiry of defects liability period
(b) 2nd year after expiry of defects liability period
(c) 3rd year after expiry of defects liability period
Notes :- (i) Rates quoted under Sch A shall be for both materials and labour complete unless mentioned otherwise. (ii) After expiry of the defects liability period of 24 months from the certified date of completion of work, Government reserves the right to order the contractor to carryout comprehensive maintenance services of the lift (provided by him under Sch A in accordance with terms and conditions detailed in Sch A and specifications enclosed thereof in the event of Govt. exercising the above right, the terms of comprehensive maintenance service contract shall be for a period of three years. Total period of comprehensive maintenance service contract of the lift shall be three years from the expiry date of the details liability period. (iii) The contractor shall enter in to a MOU with the OEMs for the provision of the lift and further maintenance. The MOU for the post warranty/post defect liability period between the contractor the contractor and OEM shall be submitted at least six months prior to the issue of completion certificate of the main contract.
(iv) The rate quoted under this Sch A shall be deemed to include for materials and labour required for comprehensive maintenance including repairs. (v) The work covered under Sch A will be ordered on the contractor by the respective Garrison Engineer on every year through a separate works order for the lifts installed in their area at the rate quoted by the contractor till completion of three years comprehensive maintenance. (vi) This contract shall be operative for the period of three years after expiry of defect liability period only for the purpose of comprehensive maintenance. (vii) In case of non function of Lift recovery shall be effected after the defect is noticed or notified either in writing or through a social media message by GE or his rep in terms of PS clauses mentioned in the tender.
