REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTING CONDUCTOR, EARTHING AND ALLIED WORKS AT MOUZA DALAN AREA AND SIRSA CAMP AT ARMY STN KATIHAR UNDER GE (AF) PURNEA

Taking down old unserviceable earth plate electrode and PCC earth pit, and all relevent item of earthing buried in ground of any type and size complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable Air Termination, single pointed Aluminium/copper rod of any type and size complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 20 x 3mm earth lead by means brazing after fixing of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of copper, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (Medium grade) all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit with cast iron cover slab of size 42 x 42 x 10cm thick ,funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, earth testing point, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers with necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part I including testing on completion, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Fresh soil will be used for filling the dug as required to achieve the desired resistance from out side, copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured and paid separately).

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to GI wire 4 mm dia earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron as steel, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (Medium grade) all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit with with Cast iron cover slab of size 42 x 42 x 10cm thick , funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, earth testing point, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers with necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part I including testing on completion, complete all as specified and as directed. M&L in replacement earth continuty conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or burried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthig etc as required with copper strip of 20 x 3mm with procelain insulator, fixing screws, aluminium cleats etc for roof conductor and down conductor above ground including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement earth continuity conductor fixed to wall on batten or recess or chessis or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as reqd 4.00mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire with procelain insulator, fixing screws, aluminium cleats, including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or chasses or burried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe light grade or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop eathing etc as required with 32x6mm galvanised iron strip with procelain insulator, fixing screws, aluminium cleats, including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Lightning strike event counter device for counting the number of lightning strikes without any power supply. The counter should be mounted on the down conductor and the triggering impulse shouldbe >= 3KA for 8/20 micro second. The lightning counter should be IP65 rated enclousure suitable for external application, including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for test terminal block made of gun metal for phosphours bronze size 75x 75x25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws, including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for Air termination, single pointed copper rod of 12mm dia and 300mm long including all its fixing arrangments on roof, including after taking down of old unserviceable ones, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F MS Sheet empty box of thickness 2mm with plane wall of size 200mm (L) X200mm (B) X100mm (H) fixed on wall with provision of nut, bolts, washer etc including fixing of old/new test terminal block inside it including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning the area by removing vegetations, bushes, shrubs, etc including cutting/uprooting if required & making good disturbed surface of earth etc, and including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc. 250m but n. exc 500m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed Note:- cutting/scraping of grass/wild growth, etc. growth around the E/M installation area (where ever require) shall be carried once in two month and each cutting/scraping shall be measured and paid for separately

M&L for laying 40mm dia GI tubes (light grade) galvanised with all fittings, laid in trenches/wall for protection of underground earth strip when crossing the road/fixing on wall as in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in filling foundations and mass concrete complete including necessary form work, complete all as specified and as directed . NOTES:- The contract sum shall be arrieved at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quoted amount.
