GENERAL INSTRUCTION: ALL SUPPLY, FABRICATION, ERECTION, TESTING, CONTRUCTION WORKS SHALL BE PERFORMED AS PER PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS There is no space for storage of forest materials like stone aggregates, sand etc. inside refinery premises. The Contractor shall use RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) only for all concreting Works for which Contractor to either set up RMC Plant by himself outside Refinery Premises or they may procure from RMC supplier conforming to all quality and design mix requirement as per relevant Technical Specifications. The Contractor hereby indemnify OWNER from all the issues related to payment of “Forest Royalties” etc. for the forest material used for the RMC.

Earth work in excavation for all kind of Soil Excluding of SOFT ROCK/HARD ROCK, including all labour, materials, dressing of sides, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil waters and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as decided by Engineer-in-Charge including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., if any, complete, including shoring/ strutting /sheet pile, all materials and labour complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for following depth. Dewatering system supply, installtion of number of wells, pumps and all associated works complete, maintenance, etc., from Start of foundation excation works till Concreting works execution, backfilling, leakage testing are completed and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Rate for de-commissioning of dewatering system shall also be considered. Excavated soil shall be disposed at least 50 m away from the Plant Boundary / kept for backfilling within a radius of 500M and the charges for the same is included in this item. Reference level of grade for excavation shall be considered as existing excavated pit level of 1.5m below FGL/NGL.

EARTH DISPOSAL Transportation of surplus earth/debris to dumping area outside site Carting the surplus excavated earth/rocks and debris from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500 meters to the approved dumping area outside the plant boundary at any distance from the site, including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths/heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is carted and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts. Any payment of fee and duties for using the dump. Note : Outing gate of Refinery shall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition

FOUNDATION CONCRETE Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete of specified grade (Ready Mix Concrete) of design Mix with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates using Ordinary Portland cement, supply of Ready Mix Concrete, casting and vibration of concrete of any grade as per the design mix, including concrete quality control tests as per Approved QCP, supplying and mixing admixtures and other materials including plasticizers (excluding supply of waterproofing compound, Corrosion Inhibitor under item 7)if required as per specification NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002, excluding cost of centering and shuttering and reinforcement including providing pockets/ shear keys during concreting, vibrating, tamping, curing, sampling, testing and rendering if required, to give a smooth and even surface etc. including cost of all material & labor in substructure, for rafts, plinth beams, footings and other similar items not specifically mentioned herein, for all depths, complete as per drawings, specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge/ owner. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002). The quoted rate shall also include mateial Inspection and testing. Rate includes all ancillary equipments, materials, tools, tackles , laboiur etc. all complete necessary to RCC works, as per Technical specification and demobilization of the same after completion of job.Quoted Rate shall also include Contractor's preparedeness plan and mitigation measures for working during the monsoon period.Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. Contractor indemnify OWNER from all the issues related to payment of “Forest Royalties” etc. for the forest material used for the RMC.

BI-POLAR CONCRETE ADMIXTURE

Supplying and mixing of approved brand of BI-POLAR CONCRETE PENETRATING CORROSION INHIBITING ADMIXTURE ( MASTERLIFE CI 220 or equivalent) in concrete as per manufacturer's specification for protection of reinforcement against corrosion. Supply of admixture and Testing as per ASTM/ IS codes in Contractor's scope. For details refer specification for Bipolar Concrete (TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0016)

Supplying and mixing of approved brand of integral WATER PROOFING COMPOUND in cement concrete, cement mortar etc. as per manufacturer's specifications, to make it leak proof/water tight etc. all complete as specified and directed.

CONCRETE IN SUPERSTRUCTURES – Cast-in-Situ Providing and laying in-situ Reinforced Cement Concrete (Ready Mix Concrete) of Design Mix and of specified grade using ordinary Portland cement and 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates, supply of Ready Mix Concrete, casting and vibration of concrete of any grade as per the design mix, including concrete quality control tests as per Approved QCP, supplying admixtures, and other materials including plasticizers if required (excluding supply of waterproofing compound, Corrosion Inhibitor in item 7) as per specification NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002, excluding cost of centering and shuttering and reinforcement, including provision of pockets/shear keys, fixing metal inserts / sleeves and anchor bolts in position during concreting, vibrating, tamping curing, addition plasticizers and rendering if required to give a smooth and even surface including painting of concrete surfaces etc. in all types of superstructures like Piperacks, Process Structures, Buildings etc. and for all types of Concrete Elements like columns, beams, floor & roof slabs, pedestals, elevated machinery supporting structures, staircases and their support brackets, fins, louvers, parapets and any other elevated concrete works not specifically covered herein, all complete as per drawings/specifications and as directed including the supply and applying of admixtures and corrosion inhibitors (bipolar concrete penetrating corrosion inhibiting materials) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Inspections and Tests, including Leak test as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

DEFORMED/TMT STEEL BARS FOR CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT Supply and fixing in position TMT reinforcement bars Fe500D (CRS) conforming to IS-1786 (FY=500 MPa) for RCC work including the cost of steel and cost of binding wire, carting the same to site of work, straightening, cleaning, cutting, binding with 18 SWG black soft annealed binding wire, and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers, complete for all heights and depths complete as per drawing & specification. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. For payment reinforcement including authorized weight for spacer bars, laps, chairs etc shall be measured separately for diameter wise length actually used. Wastages & unauthorized laps shall not be considered for payment. Inspections and Tests as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

SURFACE TREATMENT OF FOUNDATION Providing surface treatment to foundations and UG Facilities in contact with aggressive water and soil in form of linings, membranes, mastic seal, coal tar epoxy paint, bitumen paint / layer, mortar fillet, protection board etc including materials, tools and tackles as specified in the Drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

LADDER / CAGE / Safety Chain - Supply/Fabrication/Erection of Materials This Work Item includes Supply, Fabrication, Inspection, Erection as following: Supply of Material (along with test reports) required to fabricate the Structural Elements required for providing the Accesses, by way of ladders, to all types of Platforms at all Heights and Depths along with Cage (or without cage) Ladders and the Safety Chains (or Bars) that are provided at the Entrance of the Platforms from the Ladders. Fabrication of Structural Steel Materials for Platforms attached to Equipment including arranging required labour, consumables, equipment, tools and tackles, etc., loading, unloading, intermediate handling, transportation to painting yard, collecting from painting yard and carting the same to erection site / laydown area complete in all respects including Inspection and testing of material / fabrication. Erection of Ladders and Safety Barriers along with Supply and fixing of all type of Connection Bolts (Erection, Hot Dip Galvanised/Non-Galvanised Permanent bolts/ Hilti Anchors) as per Specifications, Layouts and fabrication Drawings. Scope shall include all activities like Bolting, Welding, Aligning, making necessary alterations caused due to mismatch of Bolt Holes, Torque Tightening of Bolts, cleaning, giving final touches to the welded parts, etc. as required complete with all tools, equipment and labour, for all depths and heights along with all related works to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Horizontal, Vertical post 1000mm high spaced at approx. 1500mm: 32NB(M) GI pipes as per IS: 1239 Toe plate: 100mm x 5mm thk grade E250A as per IS 2062 Baseplate/connection plates : as per shop drawings grade E250A as per IS 2062. Galvanization: All parts 610 gm/sqm min. as per IS 4736. Prefabricated lengths (varies as per shop detail drawings & maximum 3750mm) Receiving of materials, Stacking, Handling, fabricating, Painting (RAL1004) the Handrails as following, Over the Pre Galvanised Handrails, painting shall be applied as below: Intermediate Coat Type: High build polyamide cured epoxy Application method: Airless spray DFT microns: 50 Top Coat Type: High build aliphatic polyurethane Application method: Airless spray DFT microns: 50 Total min DFT microns: 100 Erection of Handrails as per requirements indicated in Standard Drawings, IFC Layouts and Fabrication Drawings. FLOORING – Prefabricated Supply and Erection Supplying, fabricating and delivering to site steel flooring (Gratings) for all types of platforms and as per standard drawings and/or specifications, including cost of steel, incorporating cut-outs where shown in drawings, providing drainage holes, painting / galvanising as specified, repairs of damaged surface coat after erection, complete with all tools, equipments and labour, for all depths and heights as per drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 1. Grating: Floor Grating shall be Electroforged from mild steel Grade E250A/BR IS:2062 and shall be minimum 25mm thk. Maximum size of voids shall be limited to 30x55 mm. Floor grating shall be hot dip galvanised in accordance with IS:2629 and tested as per IS:2633 and IS: 6745.Quantity of zinc coating shall be min 120 microns (900 gm/sqm) and as per specifications. The Flooring is delivered fully pre-fabricated in panels with toe plate as required. Included but not limited to Erection of Prefabricated flooring for all types of platforms and as per standard drawings and/or specifications, fixing in line or level, bolting and or welding as necessary, incorporating cut-outs where shown in drawings, painting as specified and wherever required, repairs of damaged surface coat after erection, complete with all tools, equipment’s and labour, for all depths and heights as per drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cross over platforms and for other misc platforms – Supply / Fabrication/ Painting / Erection of Steel Steel material shall be mainly IS 2062 – FY=250Mpa Grade 250BR or as applicable Supply (along with test reports) and transportation of Steel Materials as required in Rolled Sections and Plates that will be used for building supports required for platforms Inspection and testing. Fabrication of Structural Steel Materials into Structural Elements as defined in the Fabrication / Detailed Drawings including welding the nuts for fire proofing as per requirements. Arranging required welders, labour, consumables, tools & tackles, equipment, etc. Loading, unloading, fabrication, intermediate handling and shifting to painting yard and bringing back from painting yard to erection site or godown. Erection of Fabricated Structural Steel Elements / Structural Modules in position along with Supply and fixing of all type of Connection Bolts (Erection, Hot Dip Galvanised/Non-Galvanised Permanent bolts) as per Specifications, Layouts and Fabrication Drawings released for IFC. Scope shall include all activities like Bolting, Welding, Aligning, making necessary alterations caused due to mismatch of Bolt Holes and / or during fabrication, Torque Tightening of Bolts, cleaning, giving final touches to the welded parts, etc as required complete in all respect. Making necessary arrangement of required labour, equipment, tools & tackles, steel scaffolding, consumables, etc to execute the works at all heights as per drawings and specifications along with all related works to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Anchor Bolts Supply, Fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED ANCHOR BOLTS of all diameters and nomenclature/ Standard including material test reports, nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves etc. in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including transporting the same from store/issue points to site of work. handling , straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and axillary dummy structures. if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed. (SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE)

MS Rungs Supplying, fabricating, fixing and keeping in position M.S. RUNGS in R.C.C. works at all depths and heights including handling, transporting the steel to site workshop and site of work, straightening, if required, cutting, bending to shape, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering, cleaning, surface preparation, shop primer as per Specification, wherever applicable) and two coats of anticorrosive paint of approved quality on the exposed portion of rungs etc. all complete as specified and directed (SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE)

Sluice Gate - Supply / Fabrication / Inspection/ Erection Sluice gates gate frames, shutter, wall frames, Headstock, stem guide bracket, Flush bottom seal support bar, wedging devices, connecting block, thrust nut, stem block, coupling and yoke material shall be cast iron of grade FG200 (min) as per IS 210 with suitable painting / Stainless steel SS 314 as per ASTM. Fasteners & Studs, Nuts, Anchor Bolts, Hinges & Fixtures, spindle shall be of material mild steel conforming to IS 2062 Grade A – FY=250Mpa Grade 250BRas applicable with suitable painting or Stainless Steel SS314. Provide Material test reports for All Materials as per code and specifications. All rubber seal required for leak proof arrangement shall be of good quality. Paint specification for cast iron sluice gates, Surface preparation: Blast clean or ground to near white metal finish or equivalent. Priming: 1 coat of epoxy red oxide or epoxy zinc rich primer or equivalent before and after shop testing. Total priming thickness shall not be less than 100 microns. Finish painting for gate assembly: 2 coat of black epoxy coal tar paint for gate assembly. Total paint thickness inclusive of priming not be less than 250 microns. Finish painting for headstock: Grey epoxy paint. Total paint thickness not be less than 150 microns Sluice gate for a rectangular opening size as per IFC drawings. Mounting of sluice gate shall be done directly on the face of wall using frames which shall be sealed for water tightness. The sluice gates shutter shall be upward opening sliding gate type. the sluice gate shall be designed to with stand a water head of 5m, where the water pressure condition may be either seating of unseating water head type. All sluice gates shall be shop tested for below test as a minimal requirement as per suitable Indian standard and test reports to be submitted to Engineer in charge approval before prior installation. 1.seat clearance test for checking clearance between mating sealing faces 2. Movement test for checking interference free movement if complete gate assembly for smooth movement 3.shop leakage test at operating pressure for gate leakage performance 4.Hydrostatic body test at 1.5 times the maximum operating pressure for soundness of castings. CONTRACTOR shall perform Field leakage test and get prior approval from Engineers in charge. Two No of sluice gate items required satisfying above all requirements. For elevation, indicative location and size of opening where sluice gates are required refer to attached formwork civil drawings.

Supply, Transport of materials, loading , local Transportation from yard / shop / warehouse to erection site, unloading, handling, safe storage, Laying of RCC HUME Pipes including lifting, placing, installation supports below the ground between chambers to chambers, along with their fittings and Accessories as per Layouts and Levels defined in Civil Work Installation Drawings and / or ISOs’ as required in the trenches, connecting to system, installation of collars, making the joints water tight, equipment, pumps etc, Leak Test, Mirror and Torch Tests, Hydro-testing, Flushing etc. as applicable / required as per Drawings, Specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. All required Inspections and tests as per specifications and IS Codes Item rate includes but not limited to all the required manpower, supervision, Tools and Tackles, Plant and Machineries, Steel Scaffoldings, Consumables, and all other items required to complete the work as per specification including preparation and submission of as built drawings. All including Inspections and Tests. Measurement : Length in meters measured an IFC drawings/ ISOs
