Dismantling brick work, tile masonry or tile lining and tile terracing . (b) in cement,[HSR 8.5(b)]

Cement Concrete 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. [HSR 10.38]

Providing and laying 60mm thick interlocking paver blocks of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-35 ovar a bed of 25mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. [HSR 10.158]

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in foundation and plinth HSR 11.4

Terracing consisting of tiles 22.86 cm x 11.43 cm x 3.81cm laid over 87.50 mm mud filling on a layer of 25 mm mud plaster and an other layer of mud mortar for laying the tiles, including two coats of bitumen laid hot at 1.65 Kg. per sqm on top of RCC the slab including grouting with cement sand mortar 1:3 and top surface to be left clean etc. (HSR 13.13).

Providing and fixing vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600mm of approved make in flooring laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.89)

Providing & fixing vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved make in skirting/dados laid in any pattern as specified over base of 12mm thick cement coarse sand mortor 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like: NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (Double charged tiles shall be used as approved by Engineer in charge. (HSR 14.90).

Providing and fixing ceramic tiles / anti skid tile of size 400 mm x 400mm or above size of approved make in flooring, laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.91)

Providing & fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles confirming to I.S. 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of approved make in all colors, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-In-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 coarse and jointed with grey cement slurry, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shades complete. (HSR 14.92) b) Size of ceramic Glazed tiles 300 x 450 mm

Preparation of ply wood surface for painting inlcuding sand papering the surface and applying filling with approved quality filler consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing the surface to required finish complete. Painting on wooden surfaces etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.1)

Applying pink primer or aluminium priming coat on wood work including preparation of surface, knotting and stopping etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.2).

Painting two coats excluding priming coat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.3).

Distempering with washable oil bound distemper (of approved manufacture) two coats over one priming coat on new work. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.58).

Providing two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). [HSR 16.79 (b)].

Providing and fixing in position best indian make (as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge) European type water closet suit with non-concealed 'P' or 'S' trap with or without vent and all other necessary fittings as fully described in item no. 30.3 above [HSR 30.4 (i)] White

Extra over item Nos. 30.1 to 30.4 and 30.6 for providing and fixing 15 litres capacity low level vitreous china ware cistern complete with flush bend all other necessary fittings instead of C.I. High level cistern complete with fittings. [HSR 30.12 (i)] White

Extra over item Nos. 30.3 to 30.6 for providing and fixing best Indian make plastic hygenic seat with lid complete instead of hollow black or white plastic seat and lid. [HSR 30.13 (i)] White plastic seat (Solid)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windos in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Good Tiles @ 5.20/- Each

ii) Brick Bats @ 450/- cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items of Civil, P.H. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
