Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide & not exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, laying of cables etc, getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified

Removing excavated meterial to a distance not exc.50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M & L for natural river sand as cushioning of cables, including spreading and punning down complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note : punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose

Supply and lay un-reinforced pre-cast concrete cable covers class HV type -1, flat of size 300mm x 180 x 40mm, laid in trenches as cable protection all complete as spceified and directed.

Taking out the existing defective, 3 core 185 sq mm, HT Cable from trenches/ poles/ drains/under roads including cable covers /GI protection pipe,including CTs from RMU panels complete all as dircted by Eng-in-charge. Note : Necessary earth work excavation shall be measured and seperately under relevant item.

Relaying of HT UG 11 KV XLPE Cable of size 3 core 185 sqmm including defect rectification,testing before laying the serviceable cable complete all l as dircted by Eng-in-charge. Note : Cable obtained from Item No.6 shall be re-used under this item.

Supply, laying and testing FRLS cable XLPE Insulated,PVC sheathed ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 11000 Volts,HT grade with multi stranded aluminium conductor of size 3 core,185 sq mm complete all as specified and as directed. Route of cable as directed by Eng-in-charge. Make: Polycab /Havells/ Gloster/Finolex/Asian (RPG).

M&L for cutting the existing road / PCC / drain not less than 1.0 m wide and 1.50 m deep for taking out / laying of underground cable including necessary earthwork excavation and making good to match with the exisitng surface complete all as specified and with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 by (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) 100mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for cable protection including sealing the both ends complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jindal Steel /Tata/Prakash/Surya Roshini Ltd.

Supply, jointing, testing and commissioning as in repairs of Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 185 sq mm complete all as specified. M&L Cable route indicator made out with CI round shaped, 6mm thick, 15 cm dia welded with 200mm long MS flat iron of size 40x6 mm and embedded in and including 300 x 300 x 300 mm thick PCC block of 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggreage) and embossing the word HT cable including 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer to iron surfaces fixing at equal distances complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge.

Labour charges only for overhaulng of GOAB switch and DO fuse assembly on 2/3/4 pole HT 11 KV structure including replacing fuse wire, binding wire, greasing applying CRC, replacing worn out nuts/bolts replacing the burnt jumpers etc and making the item smooth operation complete all as specified.

M&L for replacing the PG clamps made out of GI of size 60x40x6 mm of first plate attached to another plate of size 40x40x6 mm with 4 set of nuts, bolts, with washers and spring washer including making holes and grooves as required for 2/3/4 pole HT 11 KV structure complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacing the jumper made out with ACSR conductor (SQUIRAL) not exceeding 1.50 mtr long and both side 50 sqmm cable lugs from busbar to GOAB/DO fuse to GOAB switch/ GOAB switch to HT cable or as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly and preferably vertically in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galavanised iron strip of 32 x 6mm (upto 7.5 M in length from earth plate) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3, connected to earthing test point all as specified including earth work and excavation in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber and RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 40 mm thick, with 8 mm dia steel deformed (TMT bars) reinforcement at 150mm c/c both ways, 20 mm dia GI medium grade pipe for earth lead protection, 20 mm dia GI medium grade pipe for watering , water funnel, testing point etc., complete all as specified and testing on completion.

M&L Taking out burnt/unserviceable HT/LT bushing in position from transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 400 KVA at site after isolating electric supply and replace with new of the same specification including gasket,brass stud with nuts,bolts and wahers as fixed in repairs complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge.

Supply & replace silica jel for 63 KVA to 400 KVA transformer complete all as directed by Eng-In-Charge.

Supply & replace breather assembly for 100 KVA to 400 KVA transformer complete all as directed by Eng-In-Charge.

M&L for carrying out filteration of transformer oil in position by means of mobile/dehydration machine for dehumidification of transformer oil to seperate and removee all dissolved contaminants(water,gas,oil) from transformer oil in de hydration process. The filtered oil shall have minimum BDV 55 KV in different transformers/Voltage stabilizers/HT/LT OCBs at various locations complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Eng-In-Charge. Note: Topping up of transformer oil if required shall be measured and paid under relevant Item of BOQ for M&L.

M&L for topping up new transformer oil as per IS: 335 including initial filteration complete all as specified and directed. Make : Power oil / Servo

M&L for HT tinned copper solid fuse wire of rating 10/20 Amps complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning the dust,oil/ grease, stains, etc and preparation of old steel painted surfaces and applying one coat of aluminium paint for HT Two pole structure wih all fitings after disconnecting HT/LT connections, taking all precautions and reconnection after painting at various sub stations complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning the dust,oil /grease ,stains , etc and preparation of old steel painted surfaces and applying one coat of aluminium paint for HT Three pole structure wih all fitings after disconnecting HT/LT connections, taking all precautions and reconnection after painting at various sub stations complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for spray painting of transformers of 11/0.433 KV, 250 KVA to 400 KVA capacity by applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint after preparation of old painted surface, disconnecting HT/LT connections, taking all precautions and reconnection after painting at various sub stations complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Perodical checking/servicing of Indoor HT 11 KV,800 Amps VCBs (Make: Becco Lawrie) 09 Nos horizontal draw out and isolation type installed at site by taking out from position after isolating electric supply andcarrying out necessary cleaning/greasing/servicing at site including checking of operation of all mechanism properly and repairs/replacement of minor components of VCBs complete all as per manufacturers instructions,as directed by Eng-in-charge and the maintenance/checking/servicing consists of following major parts/components:- (a) Incomer--800Amps,11 KV VCB (2 Nos) (b) Bus coupler-800Amps,11 KV VCB (1 No) (c) Out going-800Amps,11 KV VCB (6 Nos) (d) Protection relays,CTs,Ammeter,Voltmeter to all VCBs (e) Potential transformers for Incomer CBs (f) Mechanical interlocks for Incomer and bus coupler VCBs

Note: (i) Repairs/maintenance shall be carried out through OEM or his authorised Engineer to visit and carrying out preventive maintenance once in 4 months. (ii) Major spare parts if required the same shall be measured and paid separately under relevant Items of BOQ as S&F.

M&L for Preventive periodical inspection and maintenance of Installed 02x10 KVA UPS (Emersion Make) at INHS Nivarani through OEM or his authorised representative for checking and preventive maintenance complete all as per manufacturers instructions,as directed by Eng-in-charge and comprising the following:- (a) Cleaningup of unit,visual inspection to check any physical deformation of any part (b)Checking and adjusting of power supply parameters if needed. (c) Checking and adjusting PCBs for control parameters (d) Checking and tightening and securing all loose connections (e)Checking and testing functions of rectifier/Inverter/static switch section,etc Note: (i) Contractor shall arrange for OEM or his authorised Engineer to visit and carrying out preventive maintenance once in 04 months. (ii) Contractor shall arrange to rectify the defects of urgent nature immediately as directed by Eng-in-charge.

M&L for preventive pruening/cutting of tree branches near by 2/3/4 HT pole structures including cleaning and cutting the plants/bushes/vegetation in and around the structure/installations 5 meter radius up to authorised widths and throwing away the rubbish to a distance not exc 50 m and proper cleaning of sub station complete all as directed.
