EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORKS

Material and labour for providing coping of pre-stressed concrete pole 11 metre long, cross section 152mm x 152mm at top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom class-9 including zebra painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer in black & white strips upto 1.5mtr height from top of PCC coping in 30cm alternate block and numbering of poles complete all as specified. Note : Pre-stressed concrete pole 11 metre long is installed at site.

Shifting of Transformer of capacity 200 KVA after dismantling existing electrical connetions, and shifting with the help of crane to new 4 pole structure and making all electrical connections complete.

Supplying and Installing hot dip galvanized steel octagonal poles (IS 5986 Gr. Fe 510) 7.0 metre long, top dia 70mm, bottom dia 130mm having thickness 3mm, having door opening of size 500mm above 500mm from ground level, with CI base plate of size 240 x 240 x 16mm having PCD 220mm, foundation J bolts M20 x 700mm (570 + 130 of J), nuts & screws and having hot dip galvanized single plain arm bracket 1000mm overhang with 48.3 mm outer dia pipe of thickness 3.2mm fixed on top with bolts complete all as specified. Note : PCC and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

(f) OUTDOOR ENCLOSURE Outdoor type enclosure made of 2 mm thick GI sheet. The Enclosure shall have IP54 degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment & IP23D degree of protection for Transformer compartment. The enclosure exterior shall be polyurethene metallic painted. Each compartment will be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement. The Compartment illumination lamp with door operated switch shall be provided for each compartment. Interconnection Between HT switchgear & Transformer using XLPE Single core cable & Interconnection between Transformer & LT switchgear using Busbars. Internal earthing connections. All metallic components shall be earthed to a common earthing point. (g) TRANSFORMER 500 KVA, 11KV / 433V, DYn11, ONAN, hermetically sealed with corrugated tank design, copper wound, oil type transformer with off load tap changer of -5% to +5% in steps of 2.5 % with initial filling of oil. (h) INTERCONNECTION & EARTHING Internal factory connections Between HT switchgear & Transformer shall be done using 1Cx3x95Sq.mm XLPE single core cable & Interconnection between Transformer & LT switchgear using Busbars. Internal earthing connections. All metallic components shall be earthed to a common earthing point. Note : (i) Plinth / foundation for CSS shall be as per design & specification of the manufacturer & the cost shall be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Transformer make shall be as per CSS manufacturer's design. (iii) Drawing of CSS shall be approved by GE before placement of order. (iv) Pre-commissioning inspection shall be carried out by SEI from HQ CE WC before completion of work within overall quoted rates. (v) Pre-dispatch inspection shall be carried out by rep of Accepting Officer.

Installation, testing & commissioning only of microprocessor based automatic power factor control LT panel board (MPFCS) 415 volt, 50 cycles per second, cubical type, front & back openable double leaf type, dust & vermin proof with locking arrangement, powder coated with approved colour, made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm, outdoor type with canopy, cable entry glands, double compression type, duly pre-wired with suitable pillars made out of 50mm x 50mm x 6mm angle iron, grouted in & including PCC (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete as per IS: 8623-1993 & all as per latest IS specifications & suitable for housing & including following accessories : - (a) Incoming MCCB of 500 Amps TP 36 KA rupturing capacity, 3 pole thermal magnetic release type with shunt trip coil - 01 No. (b) Copper bus bar duly insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve insulation for three phase four wire system of 800 Amps capacity rating with suitable size/ type non hygroscopic, non combustible track resistant, high strength FRP/ MC/ DMC insulators. (c) Capacitor switching contactor suitable for 1 x 10 + 1 x 15 + 10 x 25 capacity shunt capacitors (Contactor Amps rating shall not be less than 1.5 times nominal rated current), three poles, coil voltage 440 volts. Each contactor shall be protected with MCB TP 10 KA, D-curve type (MCB to be provided for 1.33 times KVAR ie 100% current capacity of the MPFCS irrespective of the fact that contactor's rating is 1.5 times). (d) One set current transformer (CTs) of ratio 500/5 to be fixed on bus bars of existing panel including connection with 2 core 1.5 sqmm armoured copper conductor cable complete with gland etc. (e) Shunt capacitors MPP type heavy duty 275 KVAR distributed in steps of 8 stages with configuration (1x10 + 1x15 + 9x25) and 1 x 25 KVAR (for fixed KVAR) directly connected to maintain power factor at 0.99 or unity, housed in self-extinguishing insulating material, with built in over pressure safety devices (Capacitors shall discharge automatically with electronic reactance discharge KA of suitable rating in kiloohm & watts, when power supply is switched off) 440 volts, 50 Hz, minimum static life expectancy of more than 1,15,000 hours & switching life (minimum 5000 switching operations per year) 1,00,000 hours, output capacitance tolerance of 0% to 10%. Di-electric losses less than 0.5 watt per KVAR, temperature (Max.) 55°C, IP 30 protection all as per latest IS. Note : LT panel has been kept at site and the same shall be handed over to the contractor through proper inventory.

(f) Wiring of complete panel board with multi stranded 2.5 sqmm flexible PVC copper wires & copper thimbles complete with number sleeve markers. (g) Microprocessor based automatic power factor control relay unit suitable for twelve stages of capacitor bank. The processor shall have the following features: - (i) Suitable for programming at site. (ii) Over & under voltage trip point ± 15%. (iii) Self adjusting switching sequence. (iv) PF adjusting range upto 0.8 lag to 0.99 lead by digital setting keys. (v) Auto calculation of C/K value. (vi) 50 Hz frequency, 433 volts, 3 phase system. (vii) Single phase prevention of capacitors & phase reversal for capacitors including electronic over load inter connected with MCCB. (viii) 50 Hz frequency, 433 volts, 3 Phase system. (ix) Indication for operational state of capacitors LED type. (x) Current input 0.5 Amps. LIGHTENING PROTECTION WORKS

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6.3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metres below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected with and including GI strip 32mm x 6mm with & including GI pipe 50mm bore light grade as protection pipe (upto the body of equipment max 7.50 metre) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and thimbles, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of coal dust and common salt 15cm thick, all around top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe medium grade with funnel and wire mesh complete all as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009), testing on completion including PCC chamber (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate, RCC M-25 cover, angle iron frame and necessary earth work complete all as specified with the following :- (a) Test point GI for size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm (b) Watering pipe GI light grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode upto MS funnel with brass wire mesh embedded in floor of PCC earth pit. (GI funnel should properly tightened on GI watering pipe and embeded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits. Installation & commissioning of DG set of capacity 125 KVA all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Foundation for mounting of DG set shall be done as per manufacturer design within overall cost quoted.
