SPL REPAIRS TO WATERPROOFING ROOF TREATMENT AND ALLIED INFRA TO BLDG NO P3 P4 AND P6 AT HQ NORTHERN COMMAND UNDER GE SOUTH UDHAMPUR

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm inany type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soils n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/GE.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) exc 1.5 sqm but n.exc 4 sqm each and removing complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition, Cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 Type B2 using 20mm graded aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete as padding on roof surface with water proofing compound complete all as specified. Note : water proofing compound shall be paid separately.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete surfaces by picking up, sweeping, cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc including taking down tarfelt and brushing neat cement slurry @ 3 kg/Sqm. Applying campatible bituminous primer prepared surfaces and allow it to dry. Provide modified polyster reinforced bituminous membrane 4 mm thick plain finish with torch the substrate and underside of the membrane until the bituminous becomes glossy. Press the membrane firmly to ensure full adhesion. Maintain side overlap of 100 mm and end overlap of 150 mm and provide APP (Atactic Polypropylene) membrane 4 mm thick once again with crossing layer including bituminous primer (total 2 layer of APP membrane crossing each other)complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in- Charge. Make: Ultra Tech Weather Pro APP Membrane or equivaltent make as directed by Engr-in-Charge/ GE. Note: Water proofing treatement will be done by manufacturer of APP membrane or throught their authorised specialised agency which will further have to give a five years warranty for rectification of any defect if incurred at a later stage, otherwise no payment shall be made to the contractor if water proofing treatment is executed otherwise.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, roof surface and with mixture of white and grey cement and no pigments including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Grouting, providing 12 mm dia holes of 75mm deep @0.6 m c/c at junction of beams and columns as co-ordinal points for inserting/pouring mixture of ready made epoxy grout by pressure grouting forRCC structure column, walls, beams and slabs, including sealing the holes with Polymer modifed cement to structural crack repair, high strengt application and waterproofing as above all as specified and directed. Make: Dr Fixit, FOSROC of equivalent makes as approved by Engr in Charge.

Water proofing membrare in two layers and over screed bed floor and wall finishes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make : WPM 002 of Adrex Endura or Dr. Fixit Fastflex or equivalent as approved by Engineer-in-Charge/GE.

M&L for steel water tubing medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, fixed to walls, concealed in wall and ceiling or laid in floor complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) of nominal bore 20 mm including taking down steel tubing with connections complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment along external wall where the apron is not provided using chemical emulsion at the rate of 7.5 litres per sqm of the vertical surface of the sub structure to a depth of 300mm including excavating channel along the wall and rodding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @one litre for hole 300 mm apart including drilling and plugging 12 mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 to match the existing floor complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L of voids in masonry using chemical emulsion one litre per hole, at 300mm intervals including drilling holes at 45 degree and replunging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Vitrified tiles light Shade 8-10mm thick (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto as per item No 22 above but in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado and including 10mm thick rendering as back coating etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 1mm thick wall care putty on wall complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for two or more coats of Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe .290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel ordinary tint paint on old steel or iron surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or grith, not otherwise described incl preparation of steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&l for camouflage paints (Design as approved by Engr in Charge) on wall/roof surface walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Three or more coat applied @ 1.67 Ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Asian Apex Ultima, Berger weathercoat all guard or equivalent makes.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20 mm graded aggregate in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brickwork with subclass `B` bricks, in straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces (Cement plaster 1:4) finished fair and even using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F solid PVC wall lining consisting of 5mm thick wood grain printed PVC sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site including all fixing accessories like PVC frames/fillets etc on PVC frame, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 4mm thick Cement fibre board (designer ceiling) of size 600mm x 600mm panel conforming to IS 14862 type B category three including GI frame work with size of grid 605mm x 605mm including all accessories and GI suspensions. The fibre sheet should be fire resistant, water resistant, termite resistant, environment friendly & 100% asbestos free complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm gradded aggregate) use in coping, hold fast and similar work including naccesary form work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Anodised aluminium door shutters with frame powder coating of any colour (Thickness or powder coating not less than 50 micron) , aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg/m including with suitable locking arrangement with lock (Make: Godrej) 4 lever, 5.5mm thick tinted glass, 5mm thick aluminium push plate, hydraulic door closer-01 No, pivot with standard floor spring and pivot on top frame, aluminium tower bolts 300 mm long-01 No, glazing clips, rubber packing for locking purpose with aluminium snap beading screws, handles 2 Nos in each door, hinges, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, capacity exc 250 & not exe 500 Litres, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and refixing in position complete all as specified and as directed.
