REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF SECURITY STREET LIGHTS REPAIRING TO LT CABLES AND JOINTING BOXES AND ASSOCIATED MISC WORKS AT LRDE UNDER GE I R and D WEST BANGALORE

Excavation in trenches soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 m wide not exc. 1.5 m in depth for taking out existing old / defective cables, laying of cables not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and getting out , trimming sides, forming bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed Engineer-in-charge.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling , watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soil as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing of excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 m & depositing where as directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition and dismantling of old/damaged concrete of any description near existing transformers plinth/poles / Panels / sign boards foundation,coping etc of any type etc located at various locations carefully by arranging a proper supprt support to old poles / panels to avoid any damages etc, removing from site and making good distrubed portions near poles / panels etc to match with the adjacent areas in all respects per site conditions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Cutting of bituminous road / floor for taking up existing cable / laying of new cable /relaying of U/G cables / GI Pipe / making good duct etc not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep for refilling / with material and, watering well ramming / compacting and making good with PCC 1;3;6,type C-1complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : PCC 1:3:6 shall be measured and paid under the respective item of the work.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D2 ,using 40 mm graded stone aggregates for foundation of poles, transformer plinths, board foundations etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Materilal and labour Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregates for coping of poles / plinth blocks of HT poles etc., including necessary form work and finishing the exposed surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply riddled earth soil confiming to IS-1255, spreading in cable trenches for protection of cables complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour Sub-class 'B' well burnt bricks of old size 230 mm x 115 mm x 75 mm laid breadth wise along the length of cable laid in trenches for UG cable protection all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying only bricks removed from existing trenches ,of any size ,laid as cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and lay pipe galvanised iron tubing light grade of 50 mm dia in trenches / near panel /near floors / near walls / post top lantern pole etc using GI reducer or bend, other fittings etc all as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and lay pipe galvanised iron tubing light grade of 80 mm dia in trenches / near panel /near panel etc using GI bend, other fittings etc all as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking out the existing old or burnt or defective LT Under Ground cables undermentioned sizes from panels/duct /trench/loop etc near the sub stations/poles etc including disconnecting cables both ends, tracing out the fault with the help of megger as per site requirements for following cables complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note:i) Earth work as applicable shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items. ii) Retrived serviceable bricks from site shall be properly stacked a side and reused as protection to U/G cable here-in-after. For cables upto 25 sqmm 4 core

All as per the item No 13 here above but for 35 Sqmm 3.5 core to 95 sqmm 3.5 core.

Laying only the serviceble portion of cable of undermentioned sizes as per site requirements as obtained against items here-in-before and carrying out necessary connections in and including new lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note - i) Straight through Epoxy joint joint as applicable shall be measured and paid seprately under relevent item of schedule (2) Unserviceable portions cable quantity has been considered against schedule of credit. For cables upto 25 sqmm 4 core

Supply, lay, testing and commissioning of cable XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor LT cable 1100 volts grade in tenches / on walls /poles including suitable MS clamps for fixing, new aluminium lugs for connecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Cable size 10 sqmm 4 core

Material and labour for writing letters size of letter upto 1.5 inches using synthetic enamel paint or suitable stickers outdoor type on existing LT Indoor panels / Outdoor feeder boxes located at various places based on present Incoming and Out going cable area connections duly checked by firm electricians on the ground etc in and including cleaning and preparing surfaces in all respect as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No 24 here-in-above but size of letter above 2 inches

Material and Labour for finding UG cable fault / defect of any size from the positions accurately using cable fault locator including finding of cable route as applicable on the ground, transportation, testing, restoring of the supply in all respects and commissioning etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note - 1) Earth work from cable fault position to nearesst cable loop and cable joints as per site requirement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of the schedule.

Supply, fabricate, install, testing and commissioning for outdoor type LT Bus bar Chamber Box of size 600 x 600 x400 mm, fabricated from CPRI validitated certificate panel manufacturers with powder coated painting made out of 3 mm CRCA sheet steel front and rear opening facility with tower bolt locking , pad locks - 02 Nos,Provn of earthing points - 02 Nos and four side slanting cannopy on roof top and mild steel channels base frame of suitable siize and placed with suitable PCC pedestal of not less than 0.5 mtr height as per site requirements in and incl TPN Aluminium Bus bar of 400 Amps Capacity for looping and branch connection the bus bar chamber placed on insulators with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof complete including taking out the existing old burnt / defective LT bus bars of any type from existing locations by disconnecting incoming and all outgoing cables of any size all as specified and directed by Engineer- in charge.Note:- The quoted rate deemed to be included for connections of Incoming and all outgoing U/G cable, terminating with suitable cable gland, aluminium lugs in and including excavation,returning,removing and PCC work as per site requirement complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing MCCB 415 V 3 pole 63 Amps 16 KA in and including additions/alternations in the panel MCCB compartment as applicable as per site reuirements, connecting of cables with replacement of cable lugs/connectors complete including taking down old existing MCCB of any type all as per specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply install testing and commissioning timer switch box out door type complete in and including 3 phase contactor MCB TPN of rating 63 A coonnector fuse etc using suitable rating cable connections, toggle switch for auto / mannual mode, connecting incoming and out going cables LT cables with required addition / alterations to panel comparatments as per site requirements including taking down old existing timer box all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fix PVC insulated 1100 volts Aluminium conductor cable for working voltage upto and including 1100 volts of size 6 sqmm 2 core from loop in box to fitting including taking down unserviceable defective cable all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix PVC insulated 1100 volts copper conductor cable for working voltage upto and including 1100 volts of size 1 sqmm 3 core round type from loop in box to fitting including taking down unserviceable defective cable all as specified and as directed.

S&F GI bracket made of GI pipe 40 mm dia light grade bend to shape not less than 1.2 mtr with 2 Nos of MS clamps fabricated out of MS Flats of size no tless than 25 x 5 mm with suitable size bolts, nuts for fixing street light fittings complete including taking down the existing rusted brackets directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F GI bracket made of GI pipe 25 mm dia light grade bend to shape not less than 1.2 mtr with 2 Nos of MS clamps fabricated out of MS Flats of size no tless than 25 x 5 mm with suitable size bolts, nuts for fixing securit/ street light fittings complete including taking down the existing rusted brackets directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Painting to existing LT poles of any type upto 9.0 mtr long including bracket & other accessories as per site requitrement after preparing / scraping the metal surface with emery sheet in all respect for making smooth surface and painted with one coat coat of aluminium paint including writing pole No / feeder No on poles as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note -: The bottom of Pole 1.5 mtr height above coping / ground level shall be painted with blue paint or other any colour as decided by Engineer-in-charge in consultation with LRDE and aluminium paint strips alternatively at an interval of 30 cm including writing the pole with white colour over black colour circle base all as per site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge .

M & L for Preparing old painted surface of post top lantern of garden lights up to 4 metres long and painting with two coats of Aluminium paint including white washing the coping portion above ground level all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting , trimming and pruning of trees / tree branches of any girth up to 1 sq mtrs all around the top of the existing LT street light poles, bottm of the existing LT street light poles in and including required T&P ladders, knifes and axes etc, cleaning the disturbed area and removing the trees/tree branches and debris from the site and depositing where directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing old or defective Street light/security light/perimeter light fittings / Post top lantern of any description and type from street light pole and from wall of buildings of any height complete after disconnecting the electrical connections properly without disturbing other electrical connections of poles / building cables complete directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTES :- (i) Replacement of screws, nuts, bolts and consumables shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) All the retrieved items will be offered under Schedule of credit and the items not included in Schedule of credit will be returned to AGE (E/M) Store yard.

Labour and Tools as required for lowering the high mast rack of any height from the existing positions of in any location carefully, Checking, servicing, repairs to high mast structures, checking all electrical connections, cables in and including as under mentioned works and lifying up carefully after rectification of defects/ maint nature work services :- (a) Labour for replacement of unserviceable parts or flood light fittings along with connected electrical cables etc,refitting the entire mast rack assembly (b) Servicing and lubrication works to canopy, guides (for smooth separate ways for ropes & cable. (c) Adjustment of winch assembly properly on mast, Servicing and lubrication to flexible steel wire ropes, junction boxes, Air termination rods, Door transition plate, pully system, 3 phase motor and gear system all as per site requirements as directed by Enginer-in-charge. etc. Note for sl No. 47 : 1) The quoted amount is inclusive for all type of repairs and spares as required on the sites for proper working of high mast system is inclusive in the quoted rate. However Flood light fittings shall be measured and paid under relevent item of the schedules. Note for sl No. 1 to 55 : 1) The quoted firm is responsible to arrange required ladders, tools and safety gum boots and gloves to tradesmen during currency of contract. 2) During currency of contract, the quoted firm is responsible depute their supervisor to report incharge JE E/M office @ 9 AM daily for collecting subject work street lights complaints / works etc for rectification with their tradesmen in various subject work areas during currency of contract period.
