Alternator - Standard design alternator, Power Rating 125 KVA/ 100 KW, 3 Phase 4 wire, 415 Volts, 50 HZ, Power factor 0.8(lagging) Current 173.91 Amps, net output at site after considering derating for per site conditions at 0.8 (lagging) power factor, 1500 RPM, Cooling Liquid cooled, Aspiration Turbo charged, air cooled self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with widing in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of +1% at rated voltage from no load to full load, A1 The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in +1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS-2613/5000/IS-4722.

Diesel Engine : Adequate capacity Diesel Engine suitable for 125 KVA coupled with alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling, multi cylinder, multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS-5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessoires shall be as under :- Insulation class - 'H' , Temperature rise class - 'H' ,Excitation- Self excited Regulation performance - The voltage is kept constant with + 1%, manual voltage adjustment with in + 5%. , Frequency Regulation + 1% Suitable size & suitable number of runs of UG copper cable (Control cable) from Alternator to AMF & RAW Power to AMF Panel is deemed to be include is quoted rate.

Acoustic Enclosure : Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet metal will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom to suit conditions, with the following features :-

(i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. (ii) 16 SWG (1.6mm) thick CRCA sheet to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathing action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absoption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (iii) Sheet metal component of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. (iv) Special paint treatment with pure polyster powder/epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. (v) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to put out the heat from the chamber efficiently. (vi) For effective acoustic/weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used.

(vii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance/repairs. (viii) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorported in the enclosure as per the requirement. (ix) See through transparent window(glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation. (x) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinge, fasters etc to be provided. (xi) Deliverables 75 DB @ 1 meter at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be with in limit and as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. (xii) The enclsoure should be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination. (xiii) The exhaust pipe along with proper aluminium cladding, shall be laid to a height of above the roof level. The rates for the same are to be included in the quoted rates.

(xiv) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure inside the DG Set on a suitable insulated platform. (xv) The DG set should be provided with external emergency stop push button. (xvi) Provn of 2 Nos 11 Watts LED lamp fitting of approved Make incl wiring inside canopy with single switch controlled. (xvii) Fuel gauge to be provided with the neck of fuel tank. (xviii) Tools as per manufacturers with the box. (xix) Invents of suitable company be manufacture. (xix) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process.

(e) Civil Work : All civil works including RCC/ PCC platform 1:2:4 type B 1 and related to foundations including of panel and equipments including of panel and equipments including making good and existing structure of disturbed during installation and commissioning of Gen Set, The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300mm with anti vibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer. The foundation drawing for DG Set shall got be approved by Engr-In-Charge before laying of foundation. The Contractor has to obtain approval for RCC/PCC foundation for the DG Set with the manufacturers, Rates shall be quoted accordingly with written certificate from the manufacturers for the same.

Speed of operations shall be as below :- Hoist 3 m / min Cross Travel 6 m/ min Long Travel 8 m/ min

The crane shall be provided with main and micro motions through V3F drive including the required accessories with standard provision for over load and short circuit micro driver with control panel, power and controlling cables confirming to relevant IS including of steel rope as per IS 2266 with 4 fall. The crane shall confirm to latest IS 807/3177/3938 and other relevent IS as indicated in detailed specfications for EOT cranes.

Specification as follows: (i) Girders box type section fabricated using fresh tested steel plates to IS: 2062 Gr ‘A’ obtained directly from Main steel producers (like SAIL, RINL, TISCO, Vizag steel), cut to size using the latest CNC profile cutting machines and welded using modern welding practices. All welds shall be subjected to radiography to ensure defect free welds. (ii) Hoisting Mechanism, with specially designed crab unit for double girder, engineered for smooth jerk free, and soft start, lifting of loads. Hoist drive with micro drive through VVVF drives. The rope drum shall be made out of seamless pipes fabricated from plates tested as per ASTM/IS standards.

(vii) Controls: The crane shall be controlled by pendant push button type . The main electrical components shall be housed sheet steel enclosures suitable for indoor application conveniently located for easy maintenance. Standard protection devices for overload protection and short circuit protection shall be provided. viii) All other incidental, Civil , Electrical and Mechanical works Notes for item No 36.01 above : 1. The subject crane is meant for the purpose of handling small to medium components/materials. 2. The crane will be put to use for all working days’ continuous duty with CT, LT and Hoist movements. 3. The department shall be responsible for providing suitably rated electrical outlet in the Main Electrical Control Panel/Main Distribution Board of the buildings . All other works, electrical earthings and associated incidental and minor works shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 4. The details of RCC brackets, End plates etc are shown in relevant drawings. The contractor shall certify that these are sufficient and meets the requirements of his design.

5. The shop floor environment will be dust prone, humid, welding fume filled and ambient temperature going up to 50ºC. Weather conditions are tropical. Crane shall be kept in the normal shop floor condition without any temperature controlled enclosure / shop. Max. temperature variation is 25 deg Celsius in 24 hours. Sound level should be minimum and the crane should have decent aesthetic look. Ambient Temperature: 4º C - 50º C & relative Humidity: 55%. 6. Major Technical specifications of the crane are given below. These are to be complied with by the contractor/manufacturer. The parameters which are not specified are to be as per Contractors'/OEM's own design. The contractor shall submit following drawings, giving all design parameters and get the drawings approved from the Accepting Officer. The drawings shall be complete in all respect. (a) General Arrangement (GA) Drawing of the Crane (for approval) (b) GA Drawing of Hoist / Trolley (for approval) (c) Calculations for Bridge Girder. (d) GA Drawing of Individual Mechanisms (for approval) (e) Drawings of Bridge, End-Carriage, Leg and their connections

STRUCTURAL FABRICATION (Constructional Details): Bridge Girder: Shall be of Double Girder Box Type construction having Minimum vibrations. End Carriage: Fabricated from rolled steel sections / plates as per IS:2062 . Raw Material: Only tested quality steel Fe 410 WB as per IS-2062, IS:1964 & IS:808 and certified for quality by reputed inspection authorities, shall be used. Number of Joints allowed: Single Joint , Welding Electrodes for all Horizontal Welding: E 7018 Electrode only should be used. Welded Joint Testing: All Butt Welded Joints (both compression/ tension and flanges / web joints)shall be Radiographically test results, X-ray filims to be produced for evaluation and form part of the completion documentation). Mechanical Joints: Fit Bolts (as per IS 3640 –1982) for all joints coming in main members.

Heat Treatment & NDT Examination: The Trolleys shall be stress relieved, if necessary, by thermal heat-treatment process after welding & NDT. All welding shall be tested by NDT means [MPI, LPI & RT] after stress relieving operation (Govt. approved Test House & certificate). Manufacturer to furnish the details of facilities for Heat Treatment furnace & NDT Lab at their works. All the welded joints should be NDT tested by Govt. approved Test House & certificate / X-Ray films to be submitted at time of inspection. Gear & Gear Boxes Details: Gear Box should be of fabricated type duly stress relieved. Pinions made of EN 24 and gears of EN 18. Gears in all the Stages shall be helical in design and to be of machined, lapped and hardened Straight and helical spur gearing shall normally be used for all motions. Worm and bevel gears shall not be used. First and high speed reductions shall be through helical gears. All first reduction pinions and also the other pinions if feasible shall be integral with the shafts. All gears shall be of hardened and tempered alloy or carbon steel with machine cut teeth. Gear tooth shall be cut in metric module system. Surface hardening of teeth is not allowed.The Gears / pinions should be hardened to HRC 50-55 and ground. Please note that gears and pinions must have pressure angle of 20° only.

Lubrication: Suitable lubrication system shall be provided for gear box, all rotating parts wherever applicable. Details of the same to be furnished. Please indicate the type of Lub. Oil & grease, quantity also. Rope Drum: Shall be of fabricated type stress relieved or seamless pipe. The circumferential weld joints shall be tested by 100% X-Ray quality/ Radiogrphycally.The size of the drum shall be designed as per IS standards. Wheel : Trade mean dia of wheel for cross travel shall be designed as per IS standards forged steel and for long travel designed as per IS standards forged steel. Type of Coupling: Couplings should be flexible geared Barrel type. No pin / bush / rubber type coupling to be used Machining Operation: All mechanical mating surfaces and wheel seating areas are to be machined to the required finish and protected. Hoist Wire Rope Details: confirming to IS: 2266. Mention Wire rope 8 mm dia, No. of fall -04, 6x36, constructions , Fibre core . Make:- USHA MARTIN. Input Power Supply: Shall be 415 ± 10% Volts, 50 ± 3% Hz, 3 Phase, AC. Control Voltage: Shall be 110V AC

Protection: All Panels, Limit-Switches and Motors shall have IP 54 protection. Motor Details: Squirrel Cage Induction Crane duty motors, Totally enclosed, fan cooled, Insulation Class-F & confirming to relevant latest IS:325, and IS-123, S4 duty, 150 starts per hour and 40% CDF. Contractor to provide other details like No. of motors, capacity of motor, Frame size, make, type and No. of poles etc. Type & details of Brakes for all motions: "Fail to safe" action type Hydraulic thruster / disc brakes type to be provided to hold the mechanism in position instantaneously as soon as the power supply is 'OFF' either accidentally or intentionally for all motions. Brake wheel dia for hoisting shall be designed as per IS standards Electric Contactors: shall have SIEMENS / L&T / GE contactors suitable for Crane operations. Crane duty AC-4 ratings. Contactors Rating: The rating of all Contactors shall be at least 50% higher than the respective electric motor full load current, at the specified duty cycle. Wiring: All the panel wiring should be done by using standard multi core Copper highly flexible, double insulated cables and of Butyl Rubber.

Earthing for Electrical items in Crane: Shall be carried out as per IS. Trailing Cables: Trailing cables (Extra flexible having copper conductors only) should be traveling on rollers moving on separate I- Beam parallel to Bridge Girder and both for LT & CT shall be supplied and Erected by supplier. Illumination: 2 Nos. of 90W LED lamps & light fittings shall be provided under the Bridge and 1 No. shall be provided under CT Trolley. Fittings shall be of non-integral type. (Total lights 3 Nos.). Limits Switches: Hoist shall be provided with both rotary and counter weight type (Over Hoisting and Over lowering) Shunt, adjustable type limit switches. Limit switches shall be provided for both CT & LT. Two way lever type for CT both direction and LT both direction. Supply and Erection of DSL Shroueded busbar : The details of DSL to be provided by contactors for CT & LT and in scope of work. Remote Control: Push Button Type Radio Remote control for all motions shall be supplied. Radio remote control should be multi speed steps of operation. The unit work with rechargeable batteries. Battery charger to be provided along with the unit & rechargeable batteries.

Supply and Fix sheet metal enclosure made out of 2 mm thick suitable for MCCB 4 pole, 40 Amps, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F LED street light 36 W made in pressure die cast housing and heat shrink in aluminium extrusion and IP 66 protection, 5700K color temperature with luminous efficacy not less than 110Lm/watt fixing alongwith the mast arm of street light pole with nucessary nuts and bolts as required at site complete all as directed.

Dismantling of LT over head line with insulator and ACSR conductors and connected items all as specified and directed.

Each pit to be mixed with ant termite chemical / granules Thimet 10 G @ 50 – 100 gms / pit. If termite persists repeat the treatment after 06 months by surface spreading the chemical complete all as specified and directed.

For Termite treatment and Thimet 10G granules @ 100 gms / running mts. Flooding the trench with water and than rough & fine dressing of trenched area including removal of undesirable weeds & vegetation. Supply & plantation of approved varieties of hedge plant saplings.
