REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF HT OVER HEAD LINE, VCB, TRANSFORMER, HT POLE PAINTING, HT CABLE WITH CONNECTED WORKS AT

Disconnecting 11/0.433 KV distribution transformer of capacity upto 630 KVA by removing overhead conductor/underground cables and earth strips etc. installation of transformer after repairs, making all connections, testing and recommissioning to full satisfaction of Engr-in-charge. Taking out the transformer from any substation using suitable capacity crane or by any other method irrespective of type of approach available, loading in vehicle, transportation to workshop for repairs and unloading carefully. Reloading the tranformer after repairs, transportation to site and unloading including placing at given position complete all and directed. Note : All the T&P required for disconnection, connection, loading and unloading including necessary petty items like bolts, nuts etc will be arranged by the contractor and rates for the same deem to be included in the rates quoted.

M & L for repair to transformer step down 11/0.433 KV indoor/outdoor type of capacity up to 250 KVA, after dismantling the transformer carefully, opening the top cover of Transformer for inspection /repair, draining out the transformer oil from the housing complete, taking out the core and winding by disconnecting the internal connections, removing the carbon/sludge deposit in transformer housing core, renewal/replacement of u/s rubber bushes and washers , replacement of tap changer and thimbles, replacement of silica gel, replacement of top cover gasket set including pasting with pasting material, replacement of worn out nut and bolts, replacement of unserviceable LT & HT bushes, cutting the burnt out winding and re-winding the same with suitable size of super enamelled copper wire as per existing guage, insulating the winding connection by using fire proof sleeve and fire proof tape, varnishing the coil, keeping the coils in electric oven chamber for 24hrs to remove the moisture, Painting of complete transformer body from outside and inside, Marking of MES/SM Number etc, replacement of conservator tank glass, re-installing the core and winding inside properly, making all connection with suitable copper lungs, refilling of dehydrated transformer oil including dehydration, reinstalling the top cover after cleaning and painting of housing, conservator tank, expulsion vent etc, Meggering the LT and HT side of the Transformer and testing complete all as directed. Note :- Winding wire including labour for making of coils and LT/HT bushes will be measured & paid seperately. Contractor shall make necessary arrangement for factory visit before opening of the transformer for repairing work and testing of the transformer after carried out necessary repairs.

Description all as per Srl item No 2 above but of capacity 11/0.433 KV, above 250 KVA upto 630 KVA complete all as directed.

Supply and filling of inhibited transformer oil meeting IEC 60296-2003-11, 3rd edition standard specification and ASTMD 1275B test requirements for corrosive sulpher of BDV not less than 60 KV for topping up of reduced level of power transformer due to evaporation/ leakage/losses due to dehydration in Power /Distribution transformer or for replacement complete including removing of old unservicable transformer oil complete all as directed.

M & L for servicing of Power Transformer 33/11 KV outdoor type of capacity 1 MVA after dismantling the transformer carefully, opening the top cover of Transformer for inspection, renewal/replacement of u/s rubber bushes and washers, replacement of top cover gasket set including pasting with pasting material, making the all connection with suitable copper lugs, reinstalling the top cover after cleaning etc, Meggering the LT and HT side of the Transformer and testing complete all directed.

M & L for conducting oil filteration by stream line type filter machine to improve BDV including routine testing after filteration complete all as directed.

M & L for replacement of brass terminal rod with nuts,bolts washers & bushings suitable for HT side of the transformer of any make and capacity upto 100 KVA complete all as directed.

All as per item No 8 above but LT side.

M & L for replacement of brass terminal rod with nuts, bolts washers & bushings suitable for HT side of the transformer of any make and capacity above 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as directed.

M&L for painting the outer surface of the transformer with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint (spray painting) after preparing the surface dust and oil free and cleaning the bushes, name plate ets including writing the MES/SM No with white enemelled paint for power transformer 1 MVA outdoor type complete all as directed.

M&L for super enamelled copper conductor wire of suitable gauge and size as per requirement for rewinding the HT coil transformer complete all as directed.

Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable aluminium thimbles from cables connected with MCCB/ transformer at various panels and reconnecting after providing new lugs, nut, bolts as per site requirement for cable size upto 95 Sqmm cable size. Note: Cutting and replacement of all four thimbles of a cable will be measured and paid as one job)

All as per item No 28 above but for cable size 120 Sqmm to 400 Sqmm.

Supply and fixing in replacement MiCOM P111 3 phase overcurrent and earth fault protection relay including calibration and necessary internal connection in 11 KV VCB panel complete all as directed. Make : Schneider or its equivalent in Siemens /L&T. Location : 33 KV MRS (11 KV VCBs)

Dismantling of unserviceable air break gang operated switch 11000 Volts grade from four pole/two pole structure vertical / horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism complete all as directed.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning in replacement air break isolating switch tripple pole mechanically operated with vertical isolation, 12 nos. polymer type insulators mounted on steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level and including operating rod of 25 mm dia medium grade GI pipe and locking arrangement of capacity 200 Amps 11 KV with drop out fuse set including making all incoming/outgoing connection of HT cable and overhead conductor using new leads and nuts, bolts etc and painting of steel work with 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling of unservieable insulators of any type/size and removal from site completed all as directed.

Supply and fixing pin type polymer type insulators including galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers, and one galvanised iron nuts, 150mm height 150 mm dia including section of straps of 38x5mm size 20mm dia of bolts, nuts & washers for 11000 volts grade, completed all as directed.

Supply and fixing disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulators for working pressure 11000 Volts of 145 mm height 255mm dia ball and socket type 'Single Disc' assembly for tension with tension clamp for conductors including bolts, nuts & washers complete all as directed.

M&L for replacement of aluminum connector suitable for 33 KV line bus conductor as per site requirement such as stud connector, straight tee, straight bolt terminal, bus support clamps, tee connectors, expansion type, pad type terminal connectors, rigid stud type terminal connectors etc complete including necessary nut bolts washers complete all as directed.

Dismantling of old ACSR conductor of any size and removal from site completed all as directed.

Supply and fixing ACSR conductor on HT poles including stringing and fixing in position and binding to insulators and jumpers complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling and taking down cross arms of MS channel or angle sections, clamps, nuts and bolt, washers, back plate of any size/shape and removal from site complete all as directed

Supply and fixing on HT pole cross arms, bracing supports clamps from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size including preparation of surface and painting two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable/serviceable steel tubular poles any size and removal from site complete all as directed

Supplying, transporting and erecting in position steel tubular swaged poles 410-SP-55 type, 11.00 metre long complete with mild steel base plate, CI finial taper, bolts, nuts and washers etc including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation below pole, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 around poles and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 as in plinth block, disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed, painting steel tubular poles exposed surfaces with aluminium paint two coats over one coat of red oxide primer and providing painting of 30 cm wide red and white strips with fluorescent paint upto 1.0 mtr from bottom of the errected pole, painting embedded portion of poles with one coat of bituminious paint including marking of pole number with black flourescent paint complete all as directed.

Refixing of old serviceable steel tubular swaged poles obtained from item Sr. No: 42 herein before after dismantling, 11.0 Mtr long and erecting in new location (within 2 Kms distance) or as directed at site including painting the exposed portion with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and painting of 30 cm wide red and white strips with flourescent paint upto 1.0 mtr from bottom of the errected pole including marking of pole number with black flourescent paint, including necessary excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation below pole, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 around poles and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 as in plinth block, disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed complete all as directed. Note: Rate Quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the following : (i) Any repair/welding/fabrication work on the old poles. (ii) Any rusted surface on the old pole shall be treated with red oxide primer prior to application of aluminium paint.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protect0ed by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/ equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, MS cover of thickness 5mm openable type and having suitable locking arrangement and MS frame of suitable size made of angle iron 50 x 50 x 60 mm, complete all as directed. Note: (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

Taking out unserviceable HT UG cable of 11/33KV grade, any size duly finding of fault from trenches, pole, road, duct etc including necessary joints, unserviceable fittings and pipes etc complete all as directed

Supply and laying XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable, heavy duty, with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade (earthed) cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 Core complete all as directed.

Labour only for re-stretching/restringing of existing loosed/sagged ACSR over head HT conductor of any type and size including supply and binding wire/aluminium tape of required size, opening from insulators as fixed on pole after taking proper electric shut down from concerned staff including taking down unserviceable conductor from OH line and proper binding with additional conductor and restringing on line, complete all as directed. (Note: 1. Pole to Pole of all line conductor shall be measured as Per RM. 2. Rate including unwinding of old winding wire and rewind with new binding wire after restretching)

Cleaning of installation/ substation including clearing of vegitation, wild growth and trimming of grass, cutting of tree branches, removing of debris etc around the installation compound and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of HT/LT steel tubular poles complete and applying one coats of aluminium paint on the pole including writing the pole No with black fluorescent paint of size 70mm wide and 100mm height and top (cross arm, bracket) of pole, painting of 30 cm wide red and white strips with fluorescent paint upto 1.0 mtr from bottom of the errected pole including marking of pole number complete all as directed.

M&L for provision for detection of 11 KV HT cable fault through finding and fault locating high voltage mobile machine to locate the fault in 11 KV HT cable and fixed out exact location of fault complete all as directed. Note : (i) The item includes transporation, charging machine upto detecting fault at time. (ii) HT cable joint, necessary excavation & earth work complete will be measured and paid separately against respective item of the schedule.

Excavation in trenches not.exc 1.5 m wide and not exc.1.5m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil, complete all as directed

Cleaning of substation cable duct after removing HT/LT cable from duct by taking proper shutdown from power house including filling of new river bed fine sand under and around HT/LT cable to provide sand cushioing including reuse of old sand complete all as directed.

S & F in replacement of MS plates chequered Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality B, square cut or notched ordinary for electric cable trench covers without any attachments duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.

Dismantling/demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles (cable trench at 33 KV MRS) complete all as directed.

Dismantling / demolition of reinforced cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level (Cable tray covers at 33 KV MRS) complete all as directed.

M & L for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick masonry surface even and smooth using water proofing compound (WPC) & with out using extra cement complete all as directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid seperataly.

Supply only water proofing compound complete all as directed.

M & L for providing reinforced precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab for manholes & septic tanks with plane face set in CM (1:4) complete all as directed.

M & L for MS TMT bars 10mm dia and over complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for graded coarse aggregate of nominal size 40mm out of basalt/Trap/Granite stone spread in layers complete all as directed.

Dismantaling existing barberd wire fencing and M & L for welded steel wire fabric fencing, any size or type but weight not less than 4 Kg per Sqm including painting with approved colour complete all as directed. Note: MS work, Brick work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items.

M&L for replacement of rubber mat of size 1mx2mx3mm thick ISI marked 'C' class insulating mat for electrical purpose as per IS : 15652-2006, Class-C, catergory-III, use voltage upto 33KV, Material made of elastomer, insulation resistance with water at 5000V (min), Di electric strength -65KV, AC proof voltage - 36KV withstand for 3 mins, flame retardance (max) complete all as directed.

M&L in replacement of Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size complete all as directed.

M & L for painting the of the 33/11 KV MRS Yard including poles, channels, MS structures inside yard with two coats of aluminium paint after preparing the surface dustfree, oil free and clean and writing the existing name on the name plate after painting complete all as directed. Note : Second coat of paint shall be carried out seperately as and when directed by the Engr-in-charge.
