REPAIR MAINT OF MAIN WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE IN TECH AREA

Excavation in soft/loose soil trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out incl old U/s cable cover of any type , taking out/laying/cleaning/repairing of CI/GI pipe line, cable etc including making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in & including spreading, levelling & well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of hard standing/road for crossing of pipe line as per the authorized width for taking out/laying/cleaning/repairing of CI/GI pipe lines all as directed including making good the distributed surface and match with the existing surface either with bituminous macadam or with PCC 1:2:4, type B-2(using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up unserviceable CI/DI rusted/ broken pipe line (including all fittings) with spigot and socket/ Flanged ends for reusing and removal of unserviceable part from the site including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes/bores of pipes:-. (Earth work shall be measured and paid separately).

(a) 200mm bore dia

Laying only in trenches DI/ CI pipe with spigot and socketed ends complete after cleaning properly/thoroughly & removal of all blockage removing all silt and deposited organics inside using bamboo or rod with brush complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes/bore of pipes :-

(a) 200mm bore dia

(b) 150mm bore dia

(c) 100mm bore dia

(d) 80mm bore dia

Supply & laying in trenches ductile iron (DI) pipe with spigot and socketed ends centrifugally cast class 'K-7' in any length laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes/bore of pipes (DI fittings and jointing materials shall be measured and paid separately) :-

(a) 200mm bore dia

(b) 150mm bore dia

(c) 100mm bore dia

(d) 80mm bore dia

Supply and laying DI pipe with flanged ends centrifugally cast class 'K-9' laid in trenches/ wall / overhead tank of any length of following sizes complete all as specified and directed (CI fittings and jointing materials shall be measured and paid separately) :-

(a) 150mm dia

Taking up or down steel water tubing and connections including clearing the pipes free from scaling for reusing and removal of unserviceable part complete all as directed for the following sizes :- Note :-Excavation will be measured and paid separately

(a) 80 mm dia bore

(d) 25 mm dia bore

Relaying/ refixing of old steel tubing and connection in new or old position including necessary cuttings, threading, and new fittings such as bends, elbows, socket nipples, tapers, and reducers etc all as specified and directed

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing in repair of cast iron sluice valve class I (ISI MARKED) PN-1 type latest IS 14846-2000 flanged ends, drilled having stainless steel spindle with cast iron wheel head at top complete with nuts, bolts, washer and rubber gasket etc complete including taking down unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed for following bore of CI pipe line :-

(a) 200 mm dia bore

(b) 150mm dia bore

Dismantling old broken / damaged valve pit chamber of size 1050mm x 1050mm x 1050mm (internal dimension) complete and material and labour for including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (internally) and including 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 23 above but size of valve chamber is 900 x 900 x 900 mm (internal) and all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing of cast iron non return valve flanged ends as per IS-5312 (ISI Marked) complete with washer nuts/ bolts and rubber gasket complete including taking down unserviceable non return valve complete all as specified and directed for following bore of CI pipe line.

S&F 32mm dia hydrant opener made out of GI pipe 32mm dia medium grade including welding handle rod of 10mm dia and 450 mm long including taking down old unserviceable opener complete all as specified and directed.

S&F sprinkler with single discharge nozzle 9mm bore and all fitting including taking down unserviceable sprinkler complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge make : Premier / ZM-22 or equivalent.

Supply and fixing hydrant (quick coupling valve) made out of aluminium alloy with plastic powder coating and having positive action, self closing spring loaded brass valve arrangement the out let having hinged rubber lid, inlet size 40mm with 32mm out let with required GI fittings complete for connection including taking down unserviceable hydrant with complete fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fabricating and fixing, in replacement, of cross arms (any type) supports, bracing, stiffness, clamps, back plate, base frame structure etc mae out of MS channel, angle iron, flat iron of any size including all machine works i.e drilling of holes, welding, cutting, grinding etc as required, including painting with two coats of black paint over a coat of red oxide paint and all fixing accessories i.e nuts, bolts and washers etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material.
