M & L for Inspection and carrying out B-Checks of DG Set Once in 300 Hours of run or 6 months whichever is earlier installed at various locations by representative / authorized Service Engineer of OEM of the DG Set including inspection, maintenance, changing lub oil filters, fuel filters, by pass filter and water filter and servicing of DG Set including checking of Alternator and its connections, Non AMF / AMF Panels connected to DG Sets for routine check-up including routine / preventive maintenance checks, checking up of engine and alternator for the smooth functioning as per the Manufacturer’s instructions including checking of Engine Oil Level, Draining Sediments from Fuel Tank, checking of Pre Cleaner Dust Pan, Air Cleaner Restriction, Coolant Level, Recording Oil Pressure, Checking / Tightening of all Bolts / Nuts of Engine and Alternator, checking of AVM Pads, Diaphragm Coupling, Air Piping, check / adjust Belts, checking Battery Voltage, Water Level and checking Fan Hub / Air Blower Hub and Water Pumps, cleaning of electrical connections, checking of safety controls, cleaning of Engine including cleaning of Air Filter, Corrosion Inhibitor, O Ring, Gaskets, Screws etc. checking of engine oil thickness, and draining out old engine oil from oil chamber, if density of engine oil is increased. And topping up of engine oil , if engine oil density is found satisfactory. and removing deposited material including tightening of all inlet and outlet connections and replacing minor items such as detoriated clamp, screws, washers etc., cleaning of Roof, Floor of the DG Set Room complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: The B Check includes carrying out preventive maintenance including replacing minor unserviceable / worn out spares to keep the DG set for trouble free functioning. The rate quoted is deemed to be including all the minor spares such as screws, clips,washers, distilled water, electrolyte, etc. All other spares , engine oil, coolant will be measured and paid seperately as supply only under relevant items of this schedule, Contractor has to attend the break down within the four hours of telephonic intimation form executive at any time and place during the contract period. General maintenance is indicative only contractor has to carryout other necessary maintenance task also as required and directed by Engineer in Charge. Items for oil change/top up will be measured under relevant items of schedule ‘A’ Penalty is to be levied for not attending complaints, as per delay mentioned below :- (a) First 4 hours delay– Rs.2000/- (b) 4-8 Hrs delay –Rs.4000/- (c) 8-12 Hrs delay -6000/- (d) 12-16 Hrs delay -8000/- (e) 16-20 Hrs delay -10000/- (f) 20-24 Hrs delay -12000/- (g) For one day delay is 12000/- multiplied by no of days delayed.
