Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201.

Dressing & profiling the existing WBM/Granular surface layer of the road from edge to edge of the existing carriage way, filling low spots and ravelled stretches by providing additional materials of same type as that of the existing top surface layer, cambering, watering, rolling with 8-10 tonne roller to obtain specified compaction, etc to obtain a uniform formation surface with cross fall from the road centre line to the outer edges of the existing embankment. Works to be carried out in accordance with MORT&H specifivation section 300 and as directed by the deptt. (rate considered as per SOR for road bridge and culvert works for all divisions inder PWD Assam 2009-10, at sections where the top level of the subgrade of the existing road surface is not proposed to be raised by more than 100mm.

Removing all types of Hume pipes and stacking within a lead of 1000 m including Earthwork and Dismantling of Masonry Works as per Technical Specification Clause 202. Above 900 mm dia Hume pipe

Construction of embankment with materials obtained from borrow pits with a lift up to 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead up to 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (a) Private Land.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved materials obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300.2 with lead up to 1000 m as per Technical Specification 303.1. (a) From private land.

Providing and Laying Sand in the depressed portion of the road as per site condition and as directed by the Engineer

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density,complete as per cl. 401( with an initial lead of 5 Km.)( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (i) for grading I Material.

Wet Mix Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sb-base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant )

Prime coat: Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Tack Coat :- Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 to 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared non-bituminous surfaces (cement concrete pavement) cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler transporting the hot miox to work site,laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the reqd. grade, lavel and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled,vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no. 507. complete in all respect. (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant )( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a) With hydrated lime / cement as filler (refer table 500-9 of MoSRT&H specification) & anti stripping agent as per IS:14982 (Refer Appendix-5 of MoSRT&H specification)(I)'with 60/70 or VG-30 grade bitumen (i) for Grading I ( 19 mm nominal size )

Bituminous Concrete (Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the reqd. grade, lavel and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled,vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no.509. complete in all respect. (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0 Km initial lead from mixing plant )( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a) With hydrated lime / cement as filler (refer table 500-9 of MoSRT&H specification) & anti stripping agent as per IS:14982 (Refer Appendix-5 of MoSRT&H specification)(I)'with 60/70 or VG-30 grade bitumen (ii) for Grading II ( 13 mm nominal size )

Supplying, fitting and fixing RCC guard post150cm long erected 75cm above the groundand 75cm below the ground with M-15 grade(nominal mix 1:2:4 with broken stone aggregateup to 20mm size) of cement concrete andrequired reinforcement tied in position withannealed black wire including centering, moulding the top, curing including painting concrete surfaces in 23cm strips upto 0.75m from the top alternately in black and white and having 2 nos. reflective band of desired shade etc. complete as per design and as directed.

Tree reflector made of heigh intensity grade retro-reflectorised sheeting fixed over aluminium sheeting of 2 mm/0.28 mm thick firmly fixed with necessary galvanized nail a)100mm dia/100mmx100mm.

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces
