Material and Labour for Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat of bitumen emulsion (RS-1, grade confirming to IS :8887 at 5.00 kgs/10Sqm), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (Including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing un surfaced WBM/WMM layers by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

Material and Labour for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion RS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3of MORTH specification for Road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Providing and consolidating 50 mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading-II) using min 4.5% VG-30 grade binder by weight of total mix, aggregates gradation as per Grading 2 Table 500-10 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying, rolling to achieve and desired compaction all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

Material and Labour for applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) confirming to Is:8887 at the rate of application of 0.2-0.3 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specification for road and Bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface all as specified and as directed by by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Bituminous premix SDAC 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (Paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix as in semi dense asphaltic concrete , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive thermostatic paint laying of road marking with hot applied Thermoplastic compound with Reflectorizing glass beads on Bituminous surface, 2.5mm thick including reflectorizing glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35-1997. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from steaks and holes all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off traffic formwork, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment until the desired result is obtained.

Material and Labour for Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed by by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Provision and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Plain cement concrete, 1:4:8 type D2, (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for preparing new concrete surface (Kerb Stone) and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions
