SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT FOR WATER STORAGE ELECTRIC GEYSER AGAINST BER, PROVN OF 50 X CEILING FAN IN BLDG. NO P-706, P-708, P-709, P-711 AND P-713 (OTM ACCN) AND PROVN OF 40 GEYSERS AT OTM ACCN UNDER AGE E/M OF GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA

Taking down carefully storage type water heaters (geysers) of 25/35/50 litres capacity for servicing, including disconnection of the existing water supply and electrical connections, by unscrewing/cutting of holding bolts, nuts and other necessary fixtures, and carefully lowering/removing the geyser from its installed position. The dismantled geyser shall be transported and deposited at the Store Yard of AGE E/M-V. Note: The contractor shall arrange their own transportation for shifting the unserviceable/dismantled geysers from the site to the Store Yard of AGE E/M-V under GE (N), Bathinda. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, tools, tackles, transportation and other incidental requirements necessary for completion of the work.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electric water heater (geyser), vertical type, storage type, of 25 litres capacity, with ABS outer body, 2 kW heating element, BEE-approved 5-Star rating, suitable for 230 V, single-phase, AC supply, having inner tank fabricated from heavy-duty stainless-steel sheet, designed with single weld line and factory-tested hydrostatically at pressure as per the latest applicable IS Code, with glass-lined coating, complete with all accessories including indicating lamp, safety valve, thermostat, non-return valve (NRV), three-core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed copper flexible cable, including making connections with 15 Amp circular metal plug top, 4 Nos. suitable-size mild-steel L-hook fasteners with washers for securely hanging the geyser, and making good the disturbed surface, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) The contractor shall submit the original purchase voucher/invoice and warranty card duly issued/recommended by the manufacturer along with the supplied geyser. (b) The serial number of the geyser, as allotted by the Engineer-in-Charge, along with the name of the GE Office, shall be clearly marked on the geyser using red-colour permanent marker/paint. The cost of marking shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate, and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and fixing of heavy-duty SS 304 flexible connection pipe of 600 mm length, complete with standard 1/2-inch threaded fittings at both ends, suitable for water supply connection, providing durable, rust-free and leak-proof service, with 100% EPDM sealing/gaskets, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for submain wiring with 4.0 sq.mm FRLSH PVC insulated, multi-stranded copper conductor, single-core cable, along with separate 4.0 sq.mm earth continuity conductor of the same specification, ISI marked, drawn in new concealed PVC conduit of medium grade and adequate size, ISI marked, including all necessary accessories, saddles, bends, junctions and making good the disturbed surface, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of metal-clad plug and socket unit, suitable for single-pole and neutral connection, housed in a suitable metal enclosure, complete with 2-pin and earth-type plug/socket arrangement and 1 No. 25 Amp, single-pole (SP), 'C'-curve MCB, including all necessary internal wiring, connections, fixing accessories and making good the disturbed surface, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of 25 Amp, single-pole (SP), 'C'-curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB), suitable for 240 V AC supply, having overload and short-circuit protection and a minimum rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 10 kA, in replacement of existing MCB and fixed in the existing panel/DB/board, including removal of the existing defective MCB, necessary connections, fixing accessories and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing, in replacement of existing, 15/16 Amp metal-clad socket outlet suitable for electric geyser, conforming to the existing type and arrangement, including removal of the existing defective socket, necessary electrical connections, fixing accessories and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of stop valve, 15 mm nominal bore, of cast copper alloy construction, screwed-down type, suitable for high-pressure service, with crutch or butterfly-type handle, fancy type, chromium-plated finish, screwed at both ends for connection to iron pipe or unions, including all necessary fittings, jointing materials, fixing and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Cera / Parryware / Hindware, or equivalent, as approved by the Accepting Officer.

Supply and fixing of long body bib tap, 15 mm nominal bore, fancy type, chromium-plated, cast copper alloy construction, with crutch or butterfly-type handle, screwed-down type, suitable for connection to iron pipe or brass ferrule, Model: VGP-CHR-81037, Make: Jaquar / Cera / Parryware / Hindware, or equivalent, as approved by the Accepting Officer, including all necessary fittings, jointing materials, fixing and testing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, suitable for hot and cold water supply and having adequate thermal stability, of 20 mm nominal diameter, complete with all required CPVC plain and brass-threaded fittings, including cutting, laying and fixing the pipe with suitable clamps at maximum 1.00 m centre-to-centre spacing, jointing of pipes and fittings with approved one-step CPVC solvent cement, and testing of all joints for leakage, for pipework exposed on walls/roofs, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All CPVC plain and brass-threaded fittings, clamps, solvent cement and other accessories required for proper installation of the CPVC pipework shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
