Round the clock (24/7hrs x 365 days) Operation and monitoring of 11KV/433V, 2MVA Substation which includes safe changeover from EB source to DG source and vice versa. The scope of work also includes round the clock operation and monitoring of Transformers, DG sets, HT and LT switchgears and protective devices, RMUs, battery charging panels, cooling towers, pumps etc. The scope of work also covers the following; Recording the daily energy consumption details of the station, preparing daily load curve, filling up of HSD from storage tank to day tank whenever it is required. Round the clock monitoring and recording of critical equipments specific readings installed at various location in the campus (almost 200 nos.). Any help desk complaints received from the user during the shift operation (24/h7hrs) shall be attended immediately. NCBS has critical requirement of Electrical power. In no case, outage of power more than 5 minutes is not acceptable. The detailed scope of work is indicated in Appendix 'A'. Note: Any other item which is not specifically mentioned but necessary for its proper functioning and safety are to be included in the scope of work and cost.

NCBS has 80,000.00 Sqft of Easten Laboratories, 22200 Sq.mtr of Southern laboratories, 11 story Hostel building, 50000 Sqft of hostel, guesthouse etc., 20000 Sq.ft of Admn building, Animal house building, Sports and Dining complex, Technical services building and store building, pump house, play grounds etc. The Scope of work includes (but not restricted) the following; Day to day general maintenance (as per OEM/NCBS preventive maintenance schedule) of HT/LT Electrical installation, maintenance of 3 nos. of 1500kVA, 11kV/415V Transformers, maintenance of 800A VCBs, maintenance of ACBs (800A – 2500A). Maintenance of Earthing stations (around 165 nos), maintenance of capacitor panels, Battery charger panels, LT panels installed at various locations (around 50 nos.). Maintenance of lightning protection scheme and its associated earthing stations, maintenance of cooling towers, diesel pumps, water pumps etc. The scope work also includes, general maintenance of electrical installations at various locations i.e ELC, SLC, Animal house, Admn. building, Sports complex, Naideli hostel, guest houses, Tech office, store building, security building etc. The scope of work also includes the maintenance & replacement of light fixtures whenever it is required (approx. 8000nos), replacement of switch and sockets etc. The scope of work also includes the additional and alteration works whenever it is required. The required spare parts to carry out for day today maintenance will be supplied by the department at free of cost as on when required basis. The necessary tools and tackles should be provided by the contractor. The essence of this contract is to achieve “ Zero breakdown”. All efforts are to be made with up to date maintenance and achieving this, by predictive and pro-active maintenance techniques at times, and by strictly adhering to preventive maintenance practices and schedule. The detailed scope of work is indicated in Appendix 'B'.
