SCHEDULE `A' PART-I (Special repair of existing Mag bldg & QG, Kote/ Armr shop bldg incl repair to existing RRM retaining wall around Mag bldg of AR Bn at Keithelmanb)

Bldg No P/51/2003-04 (Mag Bldg):

Providing and laying APP(Atatic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane , black finished reinforced with non woven polyster malt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25ºC, 0.87-0.89kg/ltr and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat, the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane torch and scaling all joints etc and preparing the surface complete.The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under: Joint strength in longitudiral and transverse direction at 23ºc as 650/450N/5 cm . Tear strength longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250 n softening point of membrane 20% less than 150ºc, cold flexibility shall be upto -2ºC when tested in accordance with ASTM, D-5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane and i/c the cost of after cleaning of surface for the preparation of roof treatment by plastering with cement mortar 1:4 mix to maintain the required slope and make smooth surface etc (Make: Pidilite/ Asian or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including raking out the old putty with float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (QG/Kote)

Providing and laying rectified glazed ceramic floor tiles of size 300x300 mm or more (thickness to be specified by manufacture) of approved make in any colour or shades laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 and jointing with grey cement slurry including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete after hacking of existing PCC floor incl cleaning the surface etc. (Make: Kajaria/ Somany/ Orient Bell /Cera/ Johnson/ Vermora or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Dismantling old plaster or skirling raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground withen 50 mtr lead.

15 mm cement piaster in cement moter 1:4 using coarse sand on extranal Wall

Fineshing wall with acrylic smooth exterior paint two or more coats on new works and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @2.2 kg/a0 Sqm of required shade of approved manufacturer on existing walls after preparation of surface. (Make: Asian Paint/ Nerolac/ Dulux/ Berger Paint or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Providing one or more coat black japan paint of approved brand to give an even shed

Distempering in old work one or more coats with oil bound washable destember of aproved brand to give an even shed. (Make: Asian Paint/ Nerolac/ Dulux/ Berger Paint or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Providing white wash with lime one or more coats of approved qualilty on old wrk to give an even shed.

Painting one or more coats with synthetic anamel paint of approved brand on old wrk to give an even shed including the preparation of surface. (Make: Asian Paint/ Nerolac/ Dulux/ Berger Paint or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Demolishing / remove stone rubble masonary in cement motor, manually / by mechanical means incl staking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material with in 50 mtr lead as per direction of EIC.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with : Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Bldg No P/10/2003-04 (QG Bldg)

Finishing wall with premium acrylic smooth exterior paint with silicon additive shed for new plaster wall or more coats applied @ 1.67 ltr per 10 sqm over incl priming coats of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg per 10 sqm. M & L for grading of roof for water proofing treatment with cement concrete 1:2:4 using 6 to 12 mm graded aggregate including of hacking of existing cement concrete

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including raking out the old putty with float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm

Making plinth protection 50 mm thk PCC 1:3:6 over 75 mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including necy excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth on repairs after demolishing existing deteriorated ones

Providing and fixing ceramic glazed wall tiles of approved make in any colour or shades in dado wall over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 and jointing with grey cement slurry including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete after dismantling of old plaster and raking out joints and cleaning the surface etc. (Make: Kajaria/ Somany/ Orient Bell /Cera/ Johnson/ Vermora or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Taking out existing wooden door shutter (fly proof / flush/ panelled), repair by cutting, painting etc and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, incl replacement of hinges with screws etc as reqd

Applying two or more coats of distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand & manufacture to give an even shade on new surface incl one coat of cement primer. (Make: Asian Paint/ Nerolac/ Dulux/ Berger Paint or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

Dismantling W.C. Pan of all sizes including disposal of dismantled materials i/c malba all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying APP(Atatic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane , black finished reinforced with non woven polyster malt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25ºC, 0.87-0.89kg/ltr and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat, the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane torch and scaling all joints etc and preparing the surface complete.The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under: Joint strength in longitudiral and transverse direction at 23ºc as 650/450N/5 cm . Tear strength longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250 n softening point of membrane 20% less than 150ºc, cold flexibility shall be upto -2ºC when tested in accordance with ASTM, D-5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane and i/c the cost of after cleaning of surface for the preparation of roof treatment and make smooth surface etc (Make: Pidilite/ Asian or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).

The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorized applicator of the manufacturer of membrane 3 mm thick aftercleaning of surface for the preparation of roof treatment by plastering with cement mortar 1:4 mix to maintain the required slope and make smooth surface etc (Make: Pidilite/ Asian or equivalent quality approved by Engr-in -Charge).
