PART A (Widening of road in front of hydrate storage)

1.1.1/P62 Removing the excavated materials,debris of any description and any other waste materials,spoil including loading into trucks/tractors using baskets by head load or any other means and transporting by trucks/tractors and unloading at the earmarked places, spreading / levelling complete and disposal inside plant within 2 KM lead.

2.28.1 Surface dressing of the ground including removing Vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.All kinds of soil.

2.31.00 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

2.2.1.2 Earth work in rough excavation, transporting from borrow pit to site, banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions, lead upto 2.00 k.m .

2.8.1 Earth work in all kinds of soil in foundation, trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 M2 on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus earth as directed within a lead of 50 M. Disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed. Lift upto 1.5 m in all type of soil.

2.9.1 Earthwork excavation in soft rock / ordinary rock in foundations not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 M2. on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift as mentioned above including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus earth as directed within a lead of 50m. 2.27 Filling of sand under floors in trenches sides of foundations etc. including supply of sand and watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

4.1.3 Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto ground level in foundations,fillings,non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. including the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape,position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete(CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.)P.C.C.1:2:4 (1cement: 2coarse sand: 4graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

4.1.11 Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto ground level in foundations,fillings,non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. including the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape,position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete(CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE.)P.C.C.1:5:10 (1cement: 5fine sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

5.2.2 Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in foundation, roofs, slabs, lintels, beams,chajjas, columns,walls in vertical or horizontal fins, bressummers,shelves, suspended floors, landing, balconies, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. in super structure up to floor five ( V ) level , including necessary curing, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost of reinforcement, centering and shuttering etc. complete (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE). With RCC grade 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 sand: 3 stone aggregate).

5.9.1 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for foundations, footings, columns, pillars, etc as directed by Engineer-in Charge.Work in foundation and footing upto ground level in all shape and sizes.

5.9.3 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for concreting works etc. as directed by Engineer-in Charge.Work above ground level up to all heights, in all shapes and sizes.

5.22.3 Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C.work at all height and depths,carting the same from store/issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details including supplying and binding with contractor's own soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused/ scrap/ unserviceable steel to owner's storage point etc all complete. (REINFORCEMENT STEEL/TOR STEEL SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO's STORE)

6.2.2 Providing & laying brick masonry in foundation and plinth in any shape including all complete in Cement mortar (1Cement:6 sand), incuding cost of materials, all labours, curing, scaffolding etc. ( Ash bricks and cement will be issued free of cost at respective location.)

13.18 Providing and applying neat cement punning on concrete surface/plaster surfaces using 2.2 kg of cement and approved water profing compound ( Pidilite/ Sika or equivalent make ) , including cleaning the surface, scaffolding up to all hight, curing , as per the direction of Engineer in charge. (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

13.2.2 Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 (1cement: 6 course sand) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type sand including curing etc. all complete for a hight up to 10 metres from ground level.( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

13.43.1 Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface Water thinnable cement primer

13.44.1 Supplying, Applying and Finishing walls with two coats of approved water proofing cement paint of required shade, including cleaning the surface, applying water before painting and curing up to 7 days, including necessary scaffolding all complete. New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm) .

15.2.1 Dismantling and demolishing cement concrete work including disposal of debris/ dismantled material lead of 50 mtrs. as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

15.3 Dismantling of R.C.C. work including stacking of bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 mtrs. lead as directed including cutting reinforcement bars from RCC work etc. complete.

15.7.4 Dismantling all type of Masonry, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish including filling in low lying areas of plant/Township/mines as the case may be etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (up to a lead of 50 mtrs).

15.43.2 Dismantling manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : bituminous road

15.19 Dismantling steel work manually/ by mechanical means in built up sections without dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

10.25.2 Transporting, fabricating, and fixing Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required, in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates, grills, doors, shutters , windows, ventilators and similar works, including all materials and labours all complete as directed by Engineer in charge.( Required Structural steel will be issued free of cost by NALCO ).

13.61.1 Supply and application of two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and shade on all kinds of structural works including cleaning of old surface etc all complete with all labour tools, tackles, consumables etc all heights as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at all heights.

16.1 Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating/box cutting earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres.

16.3.10 Supplying, stacking of MOORUM and spreading the same after stack measurement with watering as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge, including all material, tools and tackles, etc all complete.

2.4 Making all arrangements for rolling including watering with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes for banking moorum in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth.

16.2 Extra for compaction of earth work/moorum in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density).

16.79 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers of 100 mm compacted thickness with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

16.9 Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and consolidation of the aggregate received from scarifying with power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS: 8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. On W.B.M / W.M.M. @ 0.4kg/sqm

16.39.1 4 cm thick bitumastic sheet with hot bitumen of approved quality using stone chippings (60% with 12.5 mm nominal size and 40% with 10 mm nominal size) @ 2.60 M3 per 100 M2 and coarse sand @ 2.60 M3 per 100 M2 of road surface and bitumen @ 56 kg/M3 of stone chippings and @128 kg/M3 of sand over a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidation with road roller of 8 to 10 tonne etc. complete.( tack coat to be paid separately): With paving Asphalt grade VG-10 heated and then mixed with solvent at the rate of 70 grams per kg of asphalt

16.4 Providing and laying seal coat of premixed fine aggregate ( passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 bitumen per M3 of fine aggregate and 0.60 M3 of fine aggregate per 100 M2 of road surface, including rolling and finishing with road roller along with sprinkling of filler material(stone dust) all complete.

16.47.1 Painting runway/taxi track/apron making with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road making paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt,scales,oil,grease and other foreign material etc and lining out complete. :- New work (Two or more coats)

16.11 Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete.

13.33.2 Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand): Raised and cut pointing

Part B - Widening of road from level crossing to 36 Area

16.55.1 Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 3.5 0% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.
