Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surface to required levels/slops/gradients for laying of pipe etc. complete all as specified and directed . Note:- The disturbed surface of roads/paths/plinths etc. shall be repaired and quoted rates deemed to include this aspect.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out / dismantling of CI / GI water mains including all CI fittings of 150 mm size, including cleaning of scale and all loose material from inner part of the pipe and recoving of lead, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation shall be measured and paid separately under the respective items of this schedule.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 150 mm bore ductile iron (DI), pressure pipes with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast class K-7, with cement mortar lining in inner side as per IS 8329 of 1977 and other relevant standards followed by a finishing layer of epoxy zinc coating paint in outer side, suitable for push on joint (rubber gasket joint) in any length incl tyton rubber push on joint and laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm bore centrifugaly cast (spun) ductile iron pressure pipes for water mains with socket & spigot ends conforming to IS 8329/1977 any length for classification of K7 suitable for rubber gasket joint (push on type) with cement mortar lining inside the pipe with out side zinc coating complete all including existing connection with required size of Tee or MS clamp with rubber gasket push on joint complete all as specified and directed. Note :- cutting of pipe, fitting for pipe, lead joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of Sch 'A'

Re-fixing of 150 mm bore CI water mains as obtained from item No.5 after descaling / cleaning and laid in trenches / walls / floors complete all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing of 100 mm bore CI water mains as obtained from item No.5 after descaling / cleaning and laid in trenches / walls / floors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of CI / DI pipe of size 80/100/150 mm bore including insertingof Tee, collars, connecting pieces etc in between and making pipe line workable after repairs complete all as specified and directed.
