RISK AND COST CONTRACT FOR RECTIFICATION OF DEFECTS RAISED IN WORK OF PROVISION OF SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE FOR GYMANSTICS AND BOXING TEAM AT INS HAMLA

Dismantling/Demolition of existing roof terracing of cement/brick concrete(un-reinforced) and existing water proofing treatment of any thickness in any position on top of roof of building, cleaning surface of roof with brush/mechanical brush and with water throughly to romove all dust/dirt and loose particles to expose bare concrete roof slab and romoval of rubbish/demolished material out side MD land complete all as specified and directed. Note: Demolition should be done chiselling

M&L brushing neat cement slurry @ 3 Kgs of cement per Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:3 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on roof finished even and smooth using liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions Complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Supply only liquid water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately).

M&L for PCC 1 : 2 :4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in levelling padding course over RCC roof surface including rounded or chamferred on edges etc mixed with approved water proofing compound all as per manufacturer'ss instructions on the roof surface to achieve requisite slope all as specified and directed. (Note : Supply only water proiofing compound shall be measured & paid separately)

Supply only polymer based liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing 4 mm thick APP modified memberane in repairs including removing old treatment over (Inaccessible) RCC roof with the following specifiations :- (a) Cleaning existing surface properly. (b) Apply oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 lit/Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP with a density of 0.87 -0.89 Kg/Lit at 25 Degree Centigrade on the prepared dry roof surface. (c) Providing and Laying APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non wooven polyster matt with physical propertities as under :- (i) Membrane weight >3.6 Kg/Sqm . (ii) Net wooven polyster weight >160 gm/Sqm (iii) Softening point of membrane > 150o C (iv) Joint Tensile strength Longitudiual > 650 Sq Cm at 230o C & Transverse > 450/ Sq cm (v) Tear strength - Longitudual > 300 N & Transverse > 250 N Direction (vi) Elongation > 30 % (vii) Impermeability under water pressure > 3 Kg/Sq cm Note:- APP membrane shall be laid using butane torch by Torch application with minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end lap. The laying of membrane shall be got done through authorised applicator of manufacturer of membrane. (d) Over the membrance provide a finishing with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.1 Kg/Sqm as prescribed by manufacture of membrane

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling any description and thickness including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition/ Dismantling of cement concrete(unreinforced ) in roofs,floors (other than ground floors) ,beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar other suspended work)

M&L PCC 75 mm thick type B2, 1 : 2 : 4 (40 mm graded aggregate) in sub flooring complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and fixing PVC grouting nozzles 0f 130 mm length &10 mm outer dia,with a stopper at the outer end shall be fixed on the concrete surface @ 1 m c/C or at the particular location of water leakage by drilling a hole of same dia and inserting upto a depth of 80 mm cement paste mixed with Dr fixit instant leak plug shall be used to fix and seal the sides of nozzle .The grout shall be prepared with mix of cement and Dr fixit pidicrete AM expansive grouting additive in W/C ratio not more than 0.45 ,the grouting shall be done under pressure of 3 kg/cm2 using grouting pump all the honeycombearea and constructions joint shall be identified injected with cement slurry admixed with expensive additive Dr fixit pidicrete AM @ 225 gms/bag of cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Machine cut kota stone slab 20-25mm thick over cement screed base and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing over in floors over incl 20 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:4 over including finishing even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mirror polishing on old marble/ granite/ Kota stone/ stone work where ever required to give high gloss finish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Virified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.36 sqm but not exceeding 0.42 sqm, in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repairs aluminium alloy wire cloth 0.45mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with aluminium wire staples complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc (150micron) coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of matching with existing colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering / cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removing existing ridge and installation of ridge along with SDST Screws and PU sealants for ridge work ,Rust removal over sheets using WD-40. (i)Supply of ridge (Girth 0 to 1200 mm JSK) (ii) Removing of existing ridges (iii) Installation of ridges along with SDST screws and PU sealants for ridge work. (iv) Supply of foam fillers (Male and Female both) and installation (v) Supply of PU Sealant

M & L for cutting out cracks (not exc 5mm) to V-section in existing wall/chajjas and cleaning out and filling up with Dr fixit crack seal including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L applying crack filling with polymer based chemical (Dr Fixit crack X shrinkfree or equalents) for cracks not exc 10mm width, applying as per manufaturer`s instructions Complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for painting to PEB Structure including surface preparation,applying two coats of epoxy resin coating (FOSROC NITOCATE EP 140/IPH-36/STP or equivalent ) applied with air assisted airless spray complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation etc) or insulation boards / slabs / blankets any thickness including cover fillets complete all as specified.

M&L for providing 22 mm thick false ceiling made of PVC insulated panels of size 600 *600 mm .Wall thickness of panel 1.5 mm on both sides.On 22 mm EPS panel 1.5 mm plain PVC sheet of denisty 600 Kg/Cum manufactured by an ISO 9001:2015 Certified company ,is stuck on both side with adhesive the panel is inserted in a frame made of Anodised aluminium frame work complete as per direction of Engr-In-Charge

M&L for post construction antitermite treatment at point of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion ( in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 ltr/hole by drilling 6mm dia hole at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150 mm centre to cetre and sealing the same complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and injecting chemical chloropyrphos emulsion conforming to IS-3244(with 20% EC) for post construction antitermite treatment along external wall below concrete or masonry apron @ 2.25 litre per running meter including drilling and plugging note complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Anodised Aluminium window and ventilator shutters ,fixed/sliding type without sash bar ,aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/m including necessary joining cleats,glazing clips,rubber packing,anodised aluminium snap beading ,screws etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for silicon sealant used to water proofing for window and door joint between window and wall ,green marble surfaces plain or moulded not exc 10 cm width or girth .Apply with silicon gun complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement mortar or lime plaster of any description from stone or brick wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water and disposing off the rubbish materials out side MD and including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specified and directed

M& L for Providing & Applying 2 coats of CFTRI approved, waterproof coating with high performance two component pre-packed cementitious waterproofing, Dr. Fixit Fastflex, with a mix ratio of (liquid: Powder), parts by wt. - 1:1.4 @ 0.42 – 0.50 Sq.mt / Kg to achieve 1mm DFT over the floor surface & wall surface upto full height, as per the manufacturer’s specification. All the coats to be applied in right angle to each other with an interval of 4-6 Hrs, including proper surface preparation as per manufacturers' specification, cleaning work, removal of loose concrete and filling cracks with polymer modified mortar using SBR Latex, Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP. Provide and lay 45 GSM glass fibre mesh over the angle fillet when the first coat in still wet. Allow the coating to air cure for 5 days before conducting water ponding test for 24 Hrs. The coating shall have Elongation at break > 120% as per ASTM D 412, Tensile strength > 1 N / mm2 as per ASTM D 412, Adhesion strength : 0.80 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 4541, crack bridging upto 2mm as per ASTM C 836, Water penetration (5 bar pressure) : 1% as per BS EN 12390.

M & L for 15 mm (10+5mm) thick ready mix plaster using WPC @ 2% by weight of cement on brick work or concrete surfaces; surfaces finished even and smooth including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed. Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid seperately.

M&L for Apply a spatter dash bond coat which comprises of Cement: Dr. Fixit URP: Silica sand (1:1:1.5) over the cured waterproofing coating and apply the key coat of plaster as wet on wet application. The plaster should be placed approx.12-15mm thick plaster in two coats over the prepared surface of cement sand mortar admixed with integral waterproofing compound Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ forming to IS 2645:2003 @ 200 ml per bag of cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L white cement based Wall care putty not less than 1mm thick on wall/ceiling new or old surfaces of any description finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of oil bound distemper with roller complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparation of old surfaces of walls/slab projections by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots including washing down,with water and applying one coat of 100% antifungal acrylic emulsion paint in approved shade etc all as per manufacturers instructions including necessary scaffoldings etc,complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen 80/100 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm of road surface complete all as specifed and as direcetd .

M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete

Dismantling looking mirrors of any size including removal of plywood/AC backing board,screws,cup washers and other fittings and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed .

M& L for Providing and carry out expansion joint treatment after proper surface preparation to remove loose mortars, dust, foreign particles from joints, fixing of tightly packed closed cell polyethylene based back up rod or filler board to ensure no gaps or voids exists, mask face edge of the joint using masking tape for neat finish, mixing of Dr. Fixit Tape Adhesive– Two part Epoxy Adhesive using slow speed drill till get homogeneous mix, apply it to prepared joint 1- 2mm thick with notched trowel or putty blade, tooled to a smooth finish and finally fixing of Dr. Fixit Seal Tape(150 MM– Flexible expansion joint membrane available in 1mm thickness exhibiting superior mechanical properties like, Elongation>500%, Tensile Strength >12N/mm2, Tear Strength >200N above joint followed by another layer of epoxy adhesives Dr. Fixit Tape Adhesive as complete as per manufacturer’s specification. Overlap: For joint over end laps, the overlaps surfaces must be clean, wiped and heat welded with at hot air welding gun with 100 mm overlap. After application the system should be allowed to cure for 7 days.

M&L for Protection: In case of exposed condition/ Trafficable joint/higher water pressure joints >1.5 bar up to 3 bars, protect the joint with Aluminium Panel of 20 gauge (0.9 mm) with width of 270 mm screwed at one end.The Adhesive area can be painted by any acrylic coating as a protective top coat complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for levelling,Sanding and finishing of existing wooden flooring,including machine sanding with successive grades of abrasive papers to remove unevenness,scratches and surafce defects,complete levelling of floor,through cleaning of dust,followed by application of approved non-skid polyeruthane lacquer in required number of coats to acheive smooth,uniform and durable finish complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removal of rust marks from existing steel railing(SS 50 mm dia,40 mm dia,25 mm dia) by mechanical buffing and polishing ,including cleaning,rust removal and restoring surface finish complete all as specified and directed.

Supply of for Liquid water proofing compound

Supply and fixing of size 22*65 mm beech wood T parifill fixed all round the periphery of existing wooden flooring including cutting,shaping ,proper fixing with approved fastners/adhesive,finishing complete to match existing flooring all as specified and as directed by Enginner-in-chrage

Surface excavation in soil n.exc 30 cm deep and average 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pre cast PCC blocks (size 30cm x 45 cm x 20 cm) in (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate set and jointed in CM (1:6) and struck flush etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting over kerbs stone two coat of synthetic enemal paint over a coat of priming complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing pressure senistive ,non drying,non shrinking asphaltic (Butyl sealing tape,asbestos fiber filled of size 6mm wide 5 mm thick for sealing side laps and end laps and self flashing of colour coated sheet roofing complete all as specified and as directed .

Deduct Credit for Demolished/ Dismantled material Rs. (-) 32925.32 (Minus) as listed in Schedule of Credit Note1: Tenderers will not quote against this item being a tentative amount to be considered to arrive at the 'Contract Sum' Note 2:- The tenderer must keep in mind when quoting rates against items out in multiple store house having height 4 mts to 7 mts. Necessary scaffolding and saftey measures required during execution of work are including in this items.
