Amount

Excavating in trenches in any type of soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils not exceeding 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any descrition and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and directed.

Cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling, basement and mass concrete for bends, pipe support, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out Mild Steel / Cast Iron / Ductile Iron / Galvanised Iron water mains including all fittings with spigot and socket ends or flanged ends including lead / tyton joints and burning out lead joints and recovering lead, cleaning the pipe and removing to store for reuse complete all as specified and as directed :- Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Notes : 1. The Contractor has to make arrangements for closing / diverting flowing water of Jai Nullah using mechanical means viz. JCB etc. before the cleaning commences and making good the disturbed surface after the cleaning process ends all as directed. 2. The area upto 15 metres from the outer walls of the Sump shall be cleaned by removing the silt / sand / pebbles / stones etc. deposited / accumulated using mechanical means viz. JCB etc. and the excavated material shall be removed to a distance not exceeding 100 metres all as directed. 3. The Quoted Rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above mentioned aspects and nothing extra from the department shall be admissible on this account.
