Item Description/ Heading

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation / banking excavated or stacked materials. All kinds of soil

Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fllets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement: 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Hot rolled deformed bars

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Laying Reinforced Cement Concrete Pipe NP4/prestrssed concrete pipe on first class bedding in single row. Providing and Laying Reinforced cement concrete pipe NP4 /prestrssed concrete pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material (cost of bedding included) in double row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets.

Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete.

Providing, laying and compacting of Built-up-spray grout layer 75 mm thick over prepared base consisting of two layers composite construction of compacted crushed coarse aggregates with application of bituminous binder of bitumen of specified Grade @ 1.520 Kg/ Sqm after each layer, ( i.e 1.520x2=3.04 say 3.00 Kg/Sqm) and with key aggregates placed on top of the second layer and compacting with static roller 8 to 10 MT. Excluding cost of tack coat and scarifying etc. Complete.(VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates)

Providing and applying tack coat with low viscosity bitumen of VG 10 grade using bitumen pressure sprayer on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications. @0.30 kg per sqm (dry & hungry bituminous surfaces /granular surfaces treated with primer)

Providing and laying bituminous concrete using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 507 of specification a) Using Batch Mix Plant of appropriate capacity and Paver Finisher Hydraustatic with Sensor control. for Grading-I ( 50-65 mm thickness ) with 60/70 bitumen (VG-30)

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A and B seal coats all complete as per clause 511 of specification. Case - II : Type B (Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat with HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/ hours using crushed stone chipping (aggregate shall pass 2.36mm seal and retained to 180 micron sieve) and penetration bitumen of suitable grade all complete as per clause 511 of specification.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained eflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications. (Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015).

Cleaning road surface of road using air compressor and manually with steel brush as per direction of Engineer In-charge, etc. Complete.

Providing and applying tack coat with low viscosity bitumen of VG 10 grade using bitumen pressure sprayer on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications. @ 0.35 kg per sqm (Non-bituminous surfaces) cement concrete pavement.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 507 of specification a) Using Batch Mix Plant of appropriate capacity and Paver Finisher Hydraustatic with Sensor control. for Grading-I ( 50-65 mm thickness ) with 60/70 bitumen (VG-30)

Providing and laying 12 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course on top of deck slab excluding prime coat with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 4.75 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 One Square Metre and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100 deg C, protruding 1 mm to 4mm over mastic surface as per clause 515 etc. complete.
