Maintenance of EOT cranes (as mentioned here-in-after) for Nine months installed at AFS Gwalior including routine maintenance check i.e. periodical services quarterly,attendance of unlimited breakdown calls & Load testing once complete all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge along with following connected accessories :- Note :-1.The EOT cranes shall be periodically (Quarterly) checked for lubrication in moving parts, oil level in the gearbox & function of parts such as brakes, limit switches, motor operation, electrical switchgears in the Panel, etc all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 2.The contractor shall arrange Quarterly inspection and servicing as approved by GE to check worthiness of cranes and ensure periodical servicing & maintencance checks as recommended. The electrical and mechanical spares required will be measured and paid separetely under relevant items.The record of the same is to be maintained by the Contractor. The work is including unlimited break down calls during the contract period. 3. The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of annual load testing with 10% extra load all as instructed by Eng-in-Charge.The record of the same is to be kept duly signed by the concerned. Make of Sevice Provider : OEM or any other competant service provider as approved by GE.

Item no. 1.01 contd.. The scope of work shall include :-  Safety Check – Checking of limit switches, Brakes, Wire rope, Wire rope clamps, Electrical Connections, Supply voltage.  Lubrication – Greasing of LT machinery, couplings & bearings. Oil level checking of Gear Box, Greasing of Wire rope.  Electrical Checking – Checking of contactors, overload relays, cleaning & tightening, electrical connections, cable checking / tightening.  Motor Checking – Hoisting, CT & LT motors checking for proper current, resistance, voltages, Insulation test.  Brake Settings – Setting of brakes, checking of brake motor oil, checking of thruster oil, checking of Liners / brake discs or brake shoes.  Assessment of Crane condition & preparing spares planning.  Inclusions: 1. All necessary Standard Tools and Tackles and Safety PPE for service engineers will be arranged by Contractor.

Note : (i) The contractor will maintain a register for record of complaint received with date & time (ii) Any breakdown attendance shall be attended within 72 hours on receipt of complaint. Failing which a penalty @ Rs.2500/day will be deducted from work done statement. (iii) The rate quoted against item is for inspection, testing & checking of unserviceable cranes, any spares which are required for replacement to attend breakdown shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item. (iv) Load testing to be carried out @ 110% of the capacity of the crane and the required caliberated weights are to be provided by the Contractor.

Supply and fix in repair of 6 Sqmm 4 Core copper round cable, PVC insulated and sheathed unarmored, fix on the wall alongwith crane channels conforming to IS-694 complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix in repair of 1.5 Sqmm 15 Core copper round cable, PVC insulated and sheathed unarmored, fix on the wall alongwith crane channels conforming to IS-694 complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix in repair of 2.5 Sqmm 2 Core copper round cable, PVC insulated and sheathed unarmored, fix on the wall alongwith crane channels conforming to IS-694 complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable C.T.D.S.L system and supply and fixing new C-Track system with 4 wheel cable trollies C-Track should be mounted on angle iron brakes duly clamped complete all as specified and directed. Note : This work includes welding of angle iron brackets of suitable size.

Supply and fix in repair of PVC cable trollies complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair of current collector pantograph for DSL upto 1.0 Ton capacity EOT crane complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling and taking down unserviceable burnt electric motor for crane of capacity 5 HP to 7.5 HP, 3 phase from 6 mtr height from ground for repairs, strip opening for repairs, rewinding and varnishing the stator winding with suitable grade, varnish and drying etc, oiling, greasing the bearings etc and replacement of unserviceable bearings, re-metaling the bearing cover plate and reassembling and fixing the motor in position and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No 37 but, for 2 to 4 H.P. capacity motor complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No 37 but, for up to 1 H.P. capacity motor of Three phase, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling and lowering down complete HOT crane accessories chain pulley block of any description & in any position of capacity upto 2 ton capacity comprising of trolley, gear box etc strip opening the chain pulley block for servicing, oiling, greasing, remettaling of gears/shaft, polishing, checking the transmission shaft, servicing of rachet gear assembly checking the condition of rachet dog, checking the bearing, removing the unservicable parts and fixing in position, testing complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Replacement of parts like rachet DOG, rachet gear assembly/bearing shall only be paid under respective item of sch "A" as supply & fix, remaining items/works like supply of oil, grease and replacement of small or minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, shaft key, locking nuts, small springs, screws etc, shall be deemed to include in the item rate . (ii) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charge quoted above in sch "A" item for particular HOT crane repaired irrespective of the number of items labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the HOT crane and replacement of unserviceable/defecitive parts in order to maintain the HOT crane in serviceable/working condition.

Description same all as per item No.40 above but, second times for the cranes fixed at out side (open) of building complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix upper and lower hook assembly upto 2 Ton HOT crane complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair of thermal load relay suitable EOT crane 2 Ton flame proof all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismanting and lowering down complete HOT crane chain pulley block of any description & in any position of capacity of 3 ton comprising of trolley, gear box, strip opening the chain pulley block for servicing, oiling, greasing, remettaling of gears/shaft, polishing, checking the transmission shaft, servicing of rachet gear assembly checking the condition of rachet dog, checking the bearing removing the unservicable parts and fixing in position, testing complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Replacement of parts like rachet DOG, rachet gear assembly/gear box/shaft/bearing shall only be paid under respective item of sch "A" as supply & fix, remaining items/works like supply of oil grease and replacement of small or minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, shaft key, locking nuts, small springs, screws etc shall be deemed to include in the item rate. (ii) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charge against quoted rate in items in sch "A" item for particular HOT crane repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the HOT crane and replacement of unserviceable/defective parts in order to maintain the HOT crane in serviceable/working condition.

Description same all as per item No.44 here-in-before but second times for the cranes fixed at outside (open) of building Complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for attending any fault in HOT Crane upto 3 ton Capacity by taking down of Pulley block by skilled team and resolving the complaint within 72 hours to the entire satisfaction of Engr - in - Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of HOT Crane height upto 6 Mtr complete of capacity 2 ton by scrapping/ removing old paint/ Dirt etc and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint including writing details like SM/MACHINE NO, Make and model etc, over a coat of primer and colour tint as directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Supply & fix Ratchet gear assembly suitable with dog & spring for chain pully upto 3 Ton capacity EOT crane complete all as specified and directed

M&L for replacement of Cross Travel Trolley bearing No. 2310 of EOT crane of any capacity and make complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of Cross Travel Trolley bearing No. 2305 of EOT crane of any capacity and make complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair of steel wire rope of 8/10 mm dia suitable for crane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for load testing for chain pulley block (HOT) crane of 2 tonne capacity with physical load 10% extra of maximum capacity of the crane along with visual check complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Contractor shall arrange adequate artificial load in appropriate qty from his own resources and shall remove the same from site after satisfactory load testing in the presence of JE E/M / Engineer -in-Charge. (ii) Quoted rate shall also include cost of necessary T & P and resources required for loading/ unloading and testing of the cranes.

M&L for load testing for chain pulley block (HOT) crane of 3 tonne capacity with physical load 10% extra of maximum capacity of the crane along with visual check complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Contractor shall arrange adequate artificial load in appropriate size from his own resources and shall remove the same from site after satisfactory load testing in the presence of JE E/M / Engineer -in-Charge. (ii) Quoted rate shall also include cost of necessary T & P and resources required for loading/ unloading and testing of the cranes.

Material and labour in repair for Maintenance free Conductive Concrete earthing system Maintenance and water-free earthing complete with 100 mm dia of Earth enhancing Compound Enchacing with cement including 17.2 mm solid copper bonded rod electrode with 65 mmx10 mm copper bonded flat on top along with providing required holes as shown in drawing to connect the earthing strip, buried directly in the ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.14 meter below normal ground level and in 160mm dia bore hole by drilling through any type of soil by means of mechanical hydraulic boring/drilling machine/Manually. After inserting of main earth electrode in the boring hole, the rest space is to be filled with the excavated soil. The copper electrode is to be connected with 25mmx3mm copper strip by means of copper/brass nut bolt of size 8 mm with copper washer near top end of the earth electrode is to be connected to Copper strip 25mmx3mm as main earthing lead by means of copper/ brass bolt, nuts, washers, check nuts and strip firmly, earth leads to be connected to earth test point made of phosphorous bronze/gunmetal of size 75mmx75mmx25mm drill and screwed including 03 no. 8mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screwed. PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for inspection chamber (earth pit ) of size 300mmx300mm internal with 100 mm thick at side i.e. total 500mmx500 mm outer side & 300 mm depth with precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle etc including necessary earthwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i)The cost of earth strip up to and including 7.5 meters only from the top of the earth electrode is deemed to be included under this item and additional earth lead, if any is required shall be measured and paid for separately. Note: The contractor has to provide a guarantee for at least 10 Years on the ground value which should be less than 01 Ohm. Make of earth enhansing material :: Marconite/Ennob/DEHN or any other similar firm approved by GE

M&L in repair for earthing complete with copper Earth Plate 600mm X 600mm X 3.15mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.10 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level), connecting to copper strip 20mm x 3mm main earth lead by means of tinned copper / brass bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers besides brazing at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to test point, made of phosphorous brongze/gun metal of size 75mmx75xmmx25mm dril and screwed including 03 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screwed, adequate quantity of charcoal dust & common salt in alternate layers of 100mm thick all around the plate, under and above the plate and returning, filling of earth spread levelled, watered and compacted to required level, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for earth pit of Size 300x300x300mm with 300 x 300 x 40mm RCC cover of (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle, GI medium grade watering pipe 25mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 40 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtr complete all as specified and directed . NOTE : (i) The cost of earth lead and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr only from the top of earth electrode are deemed to be included under this item and additional earth lead , if any, required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’. (ii) Any joint in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/permitted.

Disconnecting of any type of earthing strips/earth wire leads of any size, any description and in any postion from test point carefully and testing the earth resistance of any type of earthing with the help of digital earth tester of make WACO/or equivalent of suitable capacity maintaining record duly signed by users/ JE E/M including carrying out periodical maintinance of joints of earthing strip, by opening/ tightening/ replacement of nuts, bolts & washers of GI/ brass and reconnecting of earthing strip/wire lead after test on original position complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i). The contractor will arrange digital Earth Tester, all T&P & accessories for recording the reading.Testing shall be done as per method shown and described in instruction booklet of manufacturer of digital earth resistance tester. (ii) The record of resistance value of each earthing alongwith date of testing shall be maintained. (iii) Contractor will get the testing of earthing in such a way that each earthing shall be tested & maintenance repeately untill total qty covered on the working days. Hence contractor is advice to quote the rate accondingly.

M&L for Reconditioning of high resistance earthing by watering in the earth pit through watering pipe mixed with common salt minimum 10 Kg for each earthing pit to improve the resistance and filled/ dropped in earthing through de-watering pipe as per site condtion, de-watering pipe to be clean by means of appropriate size rod/ steel wire all as directed. Note:- The water for this purpose shall be supplied by the deptt at the nearest available source but contractor shall make his own arrangement for drawing water from approved source.

Disconnecting & taking down existing unserviceable/deshaped, aluminium/GI earth strip or taking down conductors of any size and in any position and at any height, stacking properly the serviceable strips for re-use in the work including making good the distrurbed surfaces to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only in position & connecting the retrieved old serviceable aluminium/ GI earth strip/ earth lead/ down conductors of any description and in any size, after making necessary addition/ alterations, fixed on walls/ roofs over and including M&L for suitable new insulators (Porcelain/vitreous) provided at a distance not exceeding 50cm centre to centre and insulators fixed with suitable saddles and screws complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old retrieved earth strip of any shape and size in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32x6mm GI strip/earth lead, laid in pipe/fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by GI nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 25mm x 3mm, Aluminium strip fixed on wall on batten or racess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other position including jointed by Aluminium nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repair light grade, 40mm dia GI tubing with all fittings fixed on walls/ poles/ in trenches as in earth lead protection pipe complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing in repair rigid PVC conduits (Medium grade) of size 40 mm bore with all fitting such as bends, saddles, clamps etc including cutting chases and making good to match with existing in cement mortar 1:3 if required at site complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing in repair rigid PVC conduits (Medium grade) of size 25 mm bore with all fittings such as bends, saddles, clamps etc including cutting chases and making good to match with existing in cement mortar 1:3 if required at site complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down GI pipe 40mm bore 1.2/0.6 mtr long including GI socket complete all as specified & directed.

Material & labour for GI water tubing, light grade, 40mm bore, 1.2 mtr long duly threaded on one side for fixing socket as in Air termination stand/ post at roof top of hangars/bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) GI socket & PCC/ brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'. (ii) GI pipe 1.2 mtr will be in a single length & no joint will be allowed.

All as per item 66 here-in-before but 0.6 metre long

Fixing only GI pipe, 40mm bore, 1.2 mtr long obtained from taking down in serviceable condition as in Air termination stand/ post at roof top of hangars/bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Old GI pipe obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work (ii) GI socket & PCC/ brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch`A'.

All as per item 68 here-in-before but 0.6 metre long.

Taking down GI pipe 50mm bore 1.2 /0.6 mtr long including GI reducer (50mm x 40mm) complete all as specified & directed.

Material & labour for GI water tubing, light grade, 50mm bore, 1.2 mtr long duly threaded on one side for fixing socket as in Air termination stand/ post at roof top of hangars/ bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) GI socket & PCC/ brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A’. (ii) GI pipe 1.2 mtr will be in a single length & no joint will be allowed.

All as per item 71 here-in-before but 0.6 metre long.

Fixing only GI pipe, 50 mm bore, 1.2 mtr long obtained from taking down in serviceable condition as in Air termination stand / post at roof top of hangers/bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Old GI pipe obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work. (ii) GI socket & PCC/ brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'

All as per item 73 here-in-before but 0.6 metre long.

Supply & fixing in repair test point terminal block made out of Gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 03 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed

Taking down GI socket 40mm/ reducer socket 50mm x 40mm bore including aluminium gutaka complete all as specified & directed.

Fixing only GI socket 40mm bore, on vertical pipe post/ stand complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old retrieved GI socket obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Supply & fixing GI socket 40mm bore, on vertical pipe post/ stand complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing GI reducer (50mm x 40mm bore), on vertical post/ stand complete all as specified & directed.

Fixing only GI reducer (50mm x 40mm bore), on vertical post/ stand complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old GI reducer obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Supply & fixing aluminium gutka 40mm dia having internal thread of 12mm dia and external thread of 40mm dia and fixed on GI socket complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only aluminium gutka on GI socket complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Old gutka obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Taking down existing unserviceable aluminium air termination rod, 12mm dia, 1200mm/ 300 mm long with existing aluminium block from vertical pipe supports of any description complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing aluminium Air termination rod single pointed at top and properly threaded at bottom end, 12mm dia and 1200 mm long complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing aluminium Air termination rod single pointed at top and properly threaded at bottom end, 12mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only aluminium Air termination rod single pointed, 12 mm dia 1200mm/300mm long complete all as specified & directed. Note : Old Air termination rod obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 for block, type B-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate for block size 150mm x 100mm X 150mm, set in Cement Mortar 1:4, with and including necessary form work and all exposed surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including removal of old broken unserviceable PCC block at site complete all as specified & directed. Note : An epoxy insulator shall be fix by screwing on the block for fixing the down conductors/ earth strips.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 for & around lightening conductor pipe on roof of building, type B-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 350mm x 350mm X 350mm, set in Cement Mortar 1:4, with and including necessary form work and all exposed surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including removal of old broken unserviceable PCC/ block at site complete all as specified & directed. Note : Contractor is responsible to arrange his own T&P for carrying the PCC material on roof of any building.

M&L for earth pit of internal size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm with wall thickness 100mm casting at site with and including PCC base 500mm X 500mm X 100mm made of PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm x 40mm x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast 40mm thick RCC cover of (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle etc.including removal of old broken unserviceable earth pit from site complete all as specified & directed.

Material & labour for earth pit cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 320mm x 320mm x 40mm thick, cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle with and including necessary form work complete all as specified & directed.

S&F in repair GI funnel with wire mesh for watering the earth pit made to shape and size with using PGI sheet minimum 1.0mm thick and fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of HOT Crane height upto 6 Mtr complete of capacity 3 ton by scrapping/ removing old paint/ Dirt etc and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint including writing details like SM/MACHINE NO, Make and model etc over a coat of primer and colour tint as directed by Engr - in - Charge.

M&L for replacement of old unsv hand chain of existing shape and size suitable for chain pulley block of 2 ton capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L for replacement of old unsv hand chain of existing shape and size suitable for chain pulley block of 3 ton capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
