Sand blasting & metalising the fabricated components of structural steel shed with Aluminium wire as per IRS BI -2001 including apply of one coat etch primer as per IS:- 5666 and followed by one coat of Zinc chromate primer of IS: 104 and two coat of Aluminium paint of IS: 2339 9 (one coat of Aluminium paint to be applied before erection and another coat of Aluminium paint to be painted after erection). During sand blasting the surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and roughenged by compressed air with a suitable abrasive material and grade of blasting shall conform to IS 9954. Before spraying, the surface shall be free from grease, scale, rust, moisture, other foreign materials. The metal spraying shall be carried out as per IS: 6586. The chemical composition of Aluminium to be spread shall be 99.5% aluminium conforming to IS: 2590

Dust and loose particles shall be cleaned using vacumn cleaners. b) After surface preparation supply and application of Nitoflor TF 5000 or similar in all the construction joints ad pot holes after removing all the existing filler materials from the joints and pot holes and clean properly. Nitoprime 25 or similar to be applied in the joints and pot holes before the application of Nitoflor TF 5000 or similar. c) 11 Priming:- Applying of primer NITOPRIME 25M or similar after mixing the base and hardener mechanically using a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine (400 to 500 rpm) fgitted with suitable paddle to achieve homogenious mix and applied on the prepared surface. d) Base Layer:- Supply application of Nitoflor EU5 or similar , a high strength self smoothening epoxy underlay is applied as the base layer, after mixing the base , hardener and filler components ythroughly and poured on to the prime surface and spread evenly to maintain the required thickness @ 2mm using a serrated trowel followed by that spike roller shall be rolled over the levelled underlay to remove the entrapped layer and allowed to cure for a day. e) Application of Nitoflor SL 4000 or similar : Supply and application of Nitoflor SL 4000 or similar oiver the prepared surface after mixing mechanically the two components using heavy duty drilling machine untill achieving a homogeneous mix, and spread on the prepared area using serrated trowel for a thickness of 3mm. Spike roller shall be rolled over to remove the entrapped air.

Cutting / cropping of rail of 60Kg - 90 UTS, manually and perfectly vertical with contractor's labour, hacksaw blade and tools & plants - Note: 1.Manual cutting should be used only in emergencies with prior permission of sectional ADEN where machine cutting can not be arranged in time. 2. Cutting of Rails with blade and forcing to part by using other means to break the rails is prohibited. 3.Rails should be cut right through hacksaw blades only.

In-situ situation Gas cutting of rail of various sections with contractor's tools & plants, as directed by engineer in-charge :

Rail section of 52Kg and above ER-CAO-C-HQ-GATI SHAKTI/EASTERN RLY 25mm gap 'in-situ' welding during traffic block and finishing of weld to meet the prescribed tolerances and pass all stipulated tests with all required labour, materials, consumables, tools, equipments etc. to complete the work in all respect as per IR's "Manual for Fusion Welding of Rails by Alumino - Thermic Process" with latest correction slips, including marking of welded joint, painting weld collar with anticorrosive paint, restoration of track near weld joint to original position and fixing of joggled fish plate at new weld, to be removed after passing of weld in USFD test as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Welding shall be carried out only by trained welder having valid competency certificate using RDSO approved Alumino Thermit Welding Portions, 3 piece prefabricated mould (ZIRCON WASHED) manually pressed, Single shot crucible fitted with auto tapping thimble and Compressed Air Petrol/LPG preheating technique as per RDSO Specification No IRST/19-2020 with latest amendment. 2. Hydraulic Weld trimmer shall be used for chipping and profile Grinder for finishing. 3. Only required nos. of Joggled fish plates shall be supplied by Railway at nearest P. Way Stores and the same shall be returned at nearest P. Way Store or at other location as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge after release from track. All other items required shall be supplied by the Contractor.
