PIPE BUTT WELDING: Gas Tungsten Arc butt welding of stainless steel pipes of grade 304L quality, using Argon gas for shielding and purging, ER 308L filler wire as consumable, Liquid penetrant (LP) examination and local passivation of the weld joints as per specifications.

FILLET WELDING:

Gas Tungsten Arc fillet welding of pipe to pipe or dummy plate, flange etc of stainless steel pipe lines. Welding shall be carried out using ER308L filler wire with Argon gas for shielding and purging followed by Liquid penetrant (LP) examination and local passivation as per specifications.

Gas Tungsten Arc fillet welding of SS U-Clamp to stainless steel Plate. Welding shall be carried out using ER308L filler wire with Argon gas for shielding followed by Liquid penetrant (LP) examination and local passivation as per specifications.

Gas Tungsten Arc fillet welding of SS poison plate to MS angle / channel / Plate, etc. Dissimilar welding shall be carried out using ER309L filler wire with Argon gas for shielding followed by 10% Liquid penetrant (LP) examination as per specifications.

Dissimilar Plate Welding (Fillet Weld of SS to CS): Gas Tungsten Arc fillet welding of Stainless steel ISMC to Carbon steel EP / shim plate, etc. Welding shall be carried out using Argon gas for shielding and purging, Liquid penetrant (LP) examination of the weld joints as per specifications. Item rate shall be inclusive of LP examination and DM water cleaning. Stainless steel to Carbon steel dissimilar welding using ER309L filler wire.

Pipe End Closure: Handling, transportation, surface treatment, fabrication and erection of temporary blinds / end closure / dummy plate made from free issue material (FIM) using 3 to 6mm thick SS304L plate / sheet and fillet / Groove fillet welding with the SS304L pipe ends. Welding shall be carreid out using GTAW process with argon gas for shielding & purging followed by LPE and local passivation of weld joints

SS Structural Member Fabrication (Supply): Supply, handling, transportation, surface treatment, fabrication, forming and erection of item made from AISI 304L stainless steel plates as per Drawing. The item rate includes i) Supply of Stainless Steel 304L quality from 3 mm upto 40mm thick plates/sheets as per drawing ii) Forming/Fabrication of stainless steel items of various sizes as required as per approved drawings, LPE and local passivation of formed area. iii) Fabrication and erection of items as per approved drawings and all associated weldings using GTAW process with argon gas for shielding using ER 308L filler wire, followed by site installation as per approved procedure and drawing. iv) All the weld joints shall be subjected to LPE on final pass and local passivated as per approved procedure v) all the items shall be subjected to surface treatment as per approved procedure prior to erection at site.

BUTT WELD FITTINGS: Supply & Erection of the following SS304L Butt weld Fittings as per ASME B 16.9 and material ASTM A403 WP304L. All sizes shall be tested for 10% UT,100% DPT & 100% hydro-testing. This includes surface treatment of fittings before erection.

Supply, handling, transportation, marking, cutting, bending, fabrication, surface treatment and installation of dummy plates, pioson plates, U-clamps, etc made from 3 to 6mm thick SS 304L grade conforming to ASTM A240.

CARBON STEEL WORKS

PIPE SUPPORT (Supply): General structural fabrication including supply of carbon steel angles, channels, plates, etc (Material conforming to IS 2062 Gr B), inclusive of handling, transportation, cutting, fabrication & welding of support structures, installation & welding along with EPs at site, MMA welding using E 7018 electrodes of approved makes, LP examination of each weld pass after thorough cleaning, site installation and painting of structure including EPs (one coat of primer and two coats of epoxy painting of approved make and colour) as appropriate. The supply shall include rolled sections like channel (ISMC75, ISMC100, ISMC150, ISMC200, etc), angles (ISA50x50x6, ISA75x75x6, etc), plates as required for use as per tender drawing and technical specification. This work includes chipping of concrete, preparation of EP, EP painting, etc as required for the completion of work.

Painting of CS EP / Plates: Surface cleaning, Chiping of concrete if any, grinding, emery / sandpaper, rust removal. one coat of primer and two or more coats of enamel painting of approved make and colour of 150 micron dry film thickness.

ANCHOR FASTENERS: Supply & fixing of anchor fasteners of approved make along with bolts & washers for fixing. Drilling and fixing shall be as per manufacturer’s recommendation. Type and MoC as per HILTI or equivalent, Light duty anchor (Carbon steel). Size: M20mmx200mm Long.

PRESSURE TEST: Hdyro-testing of pipe lines using DM water as per specifications given in the tender.

Complete line hydro-testing. This includes testing of each main line with associated sub-lines / branches.

X-RAY: X-ray examination of butt welded pipe joints as per the technical specifications of the tender using conventional X-ray machine. The supply of X-ray machine, film, dark room facility, consumables for film washing, skilled and unskilled personnel are under the scope of the contractor. Note: X-ray examination of butt welded pipe joints calls for 10% X-radiography. The acceptance criteria shall be as per UW-52 of ASME, Section-VIII, Division-1.
