Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth for laying/taking out cable and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.
Returning,filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.
Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.
Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable (HT) of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site after affording credit depending on its serviceability state including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for Separately

M&L for repair and servicing of HT (HT 33 KV) two pole structure by replacing Aluminium PG clamps, GI bolts and nuts, pieces of ACSR conductor with insulation sleeve RYB of any size as jumpers and applying silicon compound for prevention of arcing due to dust/ salt deposits over the surfaces including preparation of surfaces, applying zinc chromate primer on rusted surfaces and applying one coat of aluminum paint to the entire structure complete all as directed. Note:-Rate quoted shall be inclusive of two coats of white wash on exposed concrete .
M&L Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint for fixing in two pole structure of 33 KV HT line. M&L for servicing of oil cooled Transformer of capacity 2000 KVA , 33 KV/433V by disconnecting incoming & outgoing power supply, cleaning the external surface of the transformer, checking the condition of the silica gel, breather assembly, buchholz relay,control wiring, rectifying the leakage of oil through the gasket or through the radiator fins by draining out oil after arranging necessary drums and making necessary disconnections of bushings and other accessories,and replacement of gaskets and oil seals, replacement of cover gasket accessories, refilling of drained transformer oil from the drums and making all the necessary connections and energising the transformer, inspecting all the metering equipments, tightening all electrical connections checking & recording insulation resistance on both LT & HT sides, checking & recording earth resistance complete all as specified & as directed. Note:- a) The above quoted rate includes dismantling of the existing HT cable connected with the transformer and carrying out the meggering test on both HT/LT side and reconnecting the existing HT cable with the transformer. b) The above quoted rate includes all the T&P required for testing and servicing work all as specifed and direcetd. c) The above quoted rate includes all the minor parts required for the servicing i.e. Nuts and bolts, washers, cotton waste, grease etc.

Filtration of transformer oil of transformers installed at various locations to achieve di-electric strength not less than 60 KV at 2.5mm gap as per relevant IS with portable filtration plant, testing of the oil for the di-electric strength before filtration and after filtration complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down HT switch gear (Vacuum circuit breaker ) of capacity 33 KV 250/350 MVA , up to 2000 Amps comprising of following repairs, servicing,carrying out preventive maintanance and refixing the same after repairs/ servicing: -
(a) Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/inspection/overhauling
(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required.
(b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of circuit spout and cicuit spout connections for RYB phases and replacement of spares if required.
(c) Dismantling and checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc.
(d) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, arcing contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism.
(e) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of secondary sockets/busbar earthing plugs/earthing sockets and replacement of spares if required.
(f) Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the breaker trolley.
(g) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of trolley of with vacuum interrupter assembly.
(h) The inspection of HT switch gear shall involve:- (i) Inspection of truck & hoist assembly. (ii) Inspection of assembly & components of solenoid assembly. (iii) Inspection of assembly & components of dependent mechanism. (iv) Inspection of assembly & components of spring box mechanism. (v) Inspection of motor mechanism spring charge assembly (vi) Inspection of assembly of trip unit & related components, Make: ABB VCB Indoor type
Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Taking out ACB of Siemens make, of capacity 800A to 3200A Amps, 3pole , 415 volts,125 KA indoor type from its sub cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer maintenance manual, examine the moving isolating contacts for any discolouration, cluster contacts, remove the arc chutes, check the SMC moulding are intacts, examine the moving contacts main contacts silver tips, spring mechanism, clean all contacts with a suitable solvent and contacts regreased with multipurpose grease, all contacts setting checked, readjusted if required, and regreased with multipurpose grease, all tripping device like manual trip, under voltage, shunt trip release, over current and earth fault tripping device to be tested, readjusted and confirm all tripping device is in healthy condition, check and record IR value of ACB, with 1.1. KV LT megger calibrating ground fault / short ckt, overload relays for tripping & timing complete and rendering test report all as specified and as directed.
NOTES for item Nos 31 ,32 & 33 : (i) The scope of work includes following :- (a) Inspection & cleaning the mechanism house (b) Operation of door interlock, interlocking plate & shutter operation inside of panel. (c) Check the Mechanical ON-OFF function, electrical & mechanical operation and damage part of VCB/ACB. (d) Re-greasing and oiling of breaker mechanism, adjustment of various mechanism setting as required, checking contact tightness, contact erosion pins, manually vaccum check of VCB/ACB. (e) Racking-Rack out operation in Test & service position of VCB/ACB trolley. (f) Megger test (IR value - 1KV / 2.5KV) E-RYB, RY-YB, BR-R'R, Y'Y, B'B. M&L for Strip Opening the busbar of the HT 11 or 33 KV VCB panel from 800 Amps to 2000 Amps, removing the old teared/ unsv insulation from the bus bar,checking the IR value before fixing the HT sleeve and refixing the heat shrinkable insulating tape sleeve suitable for 11 kv busbar not less than 3mm thick having dielectric strength not less than 15kv/mm and HT insulation tapefor CT/ PT connection complete with a certificate from NABL lab. and checking the IR value before testing and commissioning the bus bar all as specified . Note :- Test sheet of IR value shall be submitted by the contractor, no cost extra shall be paid by the department and all testing requirement shall be borne by the contractor including transportation and T&P.

M&L for servicing of oil cooled Transformer of capacity 2000 KVA , 33 KV/11KV by disconnecting incoming & outgoing power supply, cleaning the external surface of the transformer, checking the condition of the silica gel, breather assembly, buchholz relay,control wiring, rectifying the leakage of oil through the gasket or through the radiator fins by draining out oil after arranging necessary drums and making necessary disconnections of bushings and other accessories,and replacement of gaskets and oil seals, replacement of cover gasket accessories, refilling of drained transformer oil from the drums and making all the necessary connections and energising the transformer, inspecting all the metering equipments, tightening all electrical connections checking & recording insulation resistance on both LT & HT sides, checking & recording earth resistance complete all as specified & as directed. Note:- a) The above quoted rate includes dismantling of the existing HT cable connected with the transformer and carrying out the meggering test on both HT/LT side and reconnecting the existing HT cable with the transformer. b) The above quoted rate includes all the T&P required for testing and servicing work all as specifed and direcetd. c) The above quoted rate includes all the minor parts required for the servicing i.e. Nuts and bolts, washers, cotton waste, grease etc.

M&L for earthing complete in repairs with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm and 40 mm dia bore 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 40 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. Note :- All joints either strip to strip of strip to earth plate are fixed with welded joints.

Manning and Operation of Main Receiving cum Distribution Sub Station (DSS - 16), 33 KV HT supply including 2 x 625 KVA D.G. set of Make: Cummins installed at site 'E', NAD Karwar for 03 (three) shifts of 8 hours each round the clock on all days including Sunday and holidays, minor daily maintenance/checks, attending breakdown at Distribution Sub Station No DSS 16 all as specified and as directed. The installation comprises of following equipments :- (a) 33 KV,indoor type HT VCBs - 3 Nos (b) Indoor type Power transformer 2 MVA, 33 KV / 433 V - 2 Nos. (c) Main LT Panel board 415 V with ACBs & main switches, MCCBs etc with Bus couplers & power factor improvement capacitor bank. (d) Battery bank for auxillary supply. (e) D.G. Set 415V, 625KVA with connected accessories-2Nos (f) D.G. Set control panel (g) 110 Volts battery bank with charging panel.
NOTES for item No 70:- (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for Manning and operation of the DSS - 16 in all 3 shifts of 8 hours each round the clock :- (i) One skilled electrician / operator per shift of 08 hours (Total 03 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualificaiton in Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge for HT & LT electrical installation / DG Set installation. The operator shall be competent to carryout the routine maintenance of Main distribution sub station all as directed (ii) One helper per shift of 08 hours (Total 03 shifts per day) having minimum 10th class pass.
(b) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. (c) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per uniform/ day will be levied and recovered from dues. (d) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, mask-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000 per month will be recovered and levied
(e) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operators/helpers (as applicable) through e payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Contractor shall ensure that e-payment made to operator/helper and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (f) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (g) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.
(h) The operator / helper will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance of earth pits, cutting & removal of vegetation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 5000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (i) The fuel for DG sets will be issued by the department under Schedule 'B' items for consumption and the logbooks regarding the same should be maintained and submitted regularly.General Note applicale for item No 1 :- (a) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor repair maintenance & should have well experience in electrical & DG set preventive maintenance. (b) Each shift duration shall be 8 hours & duty timing will be decided by Engr-in-Charge.
(c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (d) Checking/Rectification of loose electrical/fuel/water connections. (e) Maintaining the general cleainliness and upkeep of the installation. (f) In case of any abnormal noise/ complaint, the plant should be put off and same should be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-Charge. (g) The operator shall check oil level, fuel and inform Engineer-in-charge/JE regularly. (h) The operator shall check the water / coolant level in radiator daily & top up as and when required. (i) The operator check level of electrolyte and distilled water in battery & top as and when required, maintain the record of specific gravity. (j) Check battery terminals, if found loose, tighten it properly. Battery terminals shall be cleaned regurlarly (k) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cotton waste, cleaning material etc & operator will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

The operator shall be competent to carryout the routine maintenance of Main distribution sub station all as directed. (iii) One unskilled operator per shift of 08 hours(Total 03 shifts per day) having minimum 10th class pass with adequate experience.
Manning & Operation of DG sets 3 Nos of 1010 KVA capacity of Make : Cummins each installed at Main Receiving Sub Station at Vajrakosh for 03 (three) shifts per day round the clock in all days including sundays and holidays comprising the following equipment all as directed (a) Engine Make :- Powerica (b) Alternator Make :- Toyo denki Power System Ltd. Frame -TD84 (c)VRLA type battery banks with 24 V DC Battery charger dual - 02 Sets (d) Storage tank : Vertical Fuel storage tank -1000 litre capacity each -3 Nos (e) D.G Set synchronising panel with auto / manual synchronising with metering & protection devices -01 No (f) AVR Exciting panel for D.G sets - 03 Nos (g) Generator control panel with measuring instruments control relays & switch gears - 03 Nos (h) DG control panels , synchronising panels etc. NOTES:- (a) Contractor has to employ one electrician per shift of 08 hours (Total 03 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge & minimum 2 years experience in maint & operation of DG sets. The operator shall competent to carry out the minor maint all as directed.
