82704 PROVISION OF ROADS ALONGWITH AREA DRAINAGE AT SAIDAPET CHENNAI UNDER GE NAVY CHENNAI

SCHEDULE 'A'

Formation rolling and consolidating in cutting with power road roller of capasity 8 to 10 tonne but not exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 200mm thick GSB of Shingle or gravel, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required interstices filled, surface formed rolled and with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber all as specified.

Laying and compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) each layer of 100mm thick Water Bound Macadam (WBM) grading I of coarse aggregate with kankar or laterite (90 to 40mm)spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing new unsurfaced WBM of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming coat/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10.00 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 40mm thick Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete of VG 30 or any paving bitumen 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled & compacted to required camber & gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads, pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick in 2 layers with each layer of 75mm thick Moorum/Red bajri,spread, rolled & consolidated to gradient & camber required to side shoulders all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Pre-cast cement concrete kerb stone type B1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) exc.10cm in width & setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of new stone or plastered surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacture's instructions complete all as specified and directed

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retroreflective Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation,filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for sand filling as cushioning/bedding including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 80 mm thick Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment, rubber mould vax finished, any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006, M-35 Grade complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates for edging of interlocking tiles complete all as specified

M&L for Moorum filling in mounts laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, leveled to the shape of mount & rammed including watering (stack measurements shall be considered for payment) all as specified and directed

Excavation over areas depth not exc 1.5 mtr and getting out in soft/oose soil complete all as specified and directed by engineer -in-charge

Removing excavated spoil to a distance exceeding 250 Mtrs but not exceedng 500m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point all as specified.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 M wide, and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for foundation etc and getting out in soft / loose soil all as specified and directed.

M & L for RCC pipe Class NP3 450 mm dia laid and jointed with collars all as specified and directed.

M & L for concrete bed to drain pipes incl packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded aggregate for 450mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved in plan not exc 6 m radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B0 (Using 12.50 mm graded aggregate) as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick on brick/concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying three coats of white wash over newly plastered wall surfaces all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling-in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm using approved excavated soil all as directed.

M&L for 15mm thk rendering on brick / concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:6 finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping and surface chanels including throating and use and waste of form work all as specified and directed.

M&L for Precast cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in 100mm thick cover slab with 50mm dia holes every 150mm c/c horizontal and vertical set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia & over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends & binding with & including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 32 above but for 8mm dia.
