Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars-Fe-500
Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with floor location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints system will be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / self centering arrangement and support plates etc. as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides floor to floor /floor to wall expansion control system for various vertical localtion in load application areas that accommodates multi directional seismic movement without stress to it's components. System shall consist of metal profiles with a universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and finish floor treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and thickness required to satisfy projects movement and loading requirements and secured to base members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self- centering arrangement that freely rotates / moves in all directions.
The Self - centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure in all directions including vertical displacement. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have watertight joint is mandatory requirement all as per the manufactures design and as approved by Engineer -in-Charge. (Material shall confirm to ASTM 6063).
Floor Joint of 300 mm gap
Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with wall joint (internal/ external) location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In- Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / centering arrangement and support plates as per ASTM B221- 02. The material shall be such that it provides an Expansion Joints System suitable for vertical wall to wall/ wall to corner application, both new and existing construction in office Buildings & complexes with no slipping down tendency amongst the components of the Joint System. The Joint System shall utilize light weight aluminum profiles exhibiting minimal exposed aluminum surfaces mechanically snap locking the multicellular to facilitate movement. (Material shall confirm to ASTM 6063).
Wall Joint of 200 mm gap
Providing and fixing of expansion joint system of approved make and manufactures for various roof locations as per approved drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members with, self aligning and self centering arragement support plates asper ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides watertight roof to roof/roof to corner joint cover expansion control system that is capable of accommodating multidirectional seismic movement without stress to its components. System shall consist of metal profile that incorporates a universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and roof treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and thickness required to satisfy movement and loading requirements and secured to base members by utilizing manufacturer’s preengineered self-centering arrangement that freely rotates / moves in all directions.

Providing and fixing stone slab table rubbed(Both Side), edges rounded and polished of size 75x50 cm deep and 1.8 cm thick fixed in urinal partitions by cutting a chase of appropriate width with chase cutter and embedding the stone in the chase with epoxy grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and finished smooth.Granite Stone of approved shade.

SUBHEAD-VI : STEEL, JOINERY & WOOD WORK.
Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-incharge. Finishing - providing and fixing minimum 1.0 mm.thick matt/satin finished laminates of approved colour and make to partitions & panellings and where ever directed to be fixed with suitable adhesive complete with cost of materials, labour and hardware etc.all as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as requried for treatrment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc., consisting of following operations.
a)Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixture with proprietory water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment.
b)Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25mm to 100mm size with 50% cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement: 5 course sand) admixture with proprietary water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.
c)After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645.
d)Finishing the surfaces with 20mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4(1 cement 4 coarse sand ) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to IS 2645 and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making of 300x 300 mm square.
e)The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer in charg, with average thickness of 120mm and min thickness at khurra 65mm (Service guarantee shall be given for a period of 7 years from the date of completion. Any defects noticed during this period shall be rectified immediately at the risk and cost of contractor. Plan area only shall be measured for payment)

Providing and fixing 10mm thick compact POLYCARBONATE SHEET with steel profiles, EPDM ruber gasket, G.E Silicon sealant, cold forged fastners all as per drawing including cost of materials, labour, HOM of equipments and machineries, all leads and lifts, Loading and unloading charges, transportation cost and conveyance of all materials, all other incidental charges at all floor levels etc., complete for successful completion of work as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-incharge.

Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete :

Providing & fixing in position of non-asbestos fibre-cement board composed of Portland cement, cellulose fiber and refined sand for wall cladding at all height with Deco- board of sizes 10mm thick, 1200mm wide x 2440 mm length , in approved colour, texture and finish, having Performance Appraisal Certificate (PAC), with necesasary profiled edges fixed with 40mm SS screws 5 nos in each tile to frame work made of hollow aluminium tube of size 50x50x2.3 in centre of each tile and bottom and top of work height. The cladding shall be laid overback layment of 1.00 mm thick expanded polyethylene foam of density 40kg/cum in two layers, first layer on wall surface before fixing wooden frame and second layer on frame under cladding. The Cement board planks shall have minimum density of 1300 + 50 kg/cum & Bending Strength of 19 Mpa. with Eco friendly UV coating, all complete as per direction of the Engineer in-charge.(Such as SHERA board preferred)
Installation -Fastener can be both nails and screw. It can be nailed directly to supports with round wire nails. For metal screws, the size and length of the screw will be according to thickness of the Plank and the gauge of framing. Pre-drilling the board is a must ,otherwise, Self embedding,self-drilling head screws .
Providing & fixing in position of Fibre-Cement Flat planks for wall cladding at all height with cement planks of sizes 8mm thick, 200mm wide x 4000 mm length and weight of 7.2 kg/pcs , in approved colour, texture and finish, having Performance Appraisal Certificate (PAC) with necesasary profiled edges fixed with 40mm SS screws 5 nos in each tile to frame work made of hollow aluminium tube of size 50x50x2.3 mm in centre of each tile and bottom and top of work height, center to center of 600mm placed at ends of each tile. b) Fabricating and supplying serrated M.S. hot dip galvanised / Aluminium alloy of 6005 T5 brackets of required sizes, sections and profiles etc. to accommodate 3 Dimentional movement for achieving perfect verticality and fixing structural glazing system rigidly to the RCC/ masonry/structural steel framework of building structure using stainless steel anchor fasteners/ bolts, nylon seperator to prevent bimetallic contacts with nuts and washers etc. of stainless steel grade 316, of the required capacity and in required numbers.
c) Providing and filling, two part pump filled, structural silicone sealant and one part weather silicone sealant compatible with the structural silicone sealant of required bite size in a clean and controlled factory / work shop environment , including double sided spacer tape, setting blocks and backer rod, all of approved grade, brand and manufacture, as per the approved sealant design, within and all around the perimeter for holding glass.
d)Providing and fixing in position flashings of solid aluminium sheet 1 mm thick and of sizes, shapes and profiles, as required as per the site conditions, to seal the gap between the building structure and all its interfaces with curtain glazing to make it watertight.40 mm wide steel beading @25 Rmtper 100 Sqm of glazing shall be provided as per design
e) Making provision for drainage of moisture/ water that enters the curtain glazing system to make it watertight, by incorporating principles of pressure equalization, providing suitable gutter profiles at bottom (if required), making necessary holes of required sizes and of required numbers etc. complete. This item includes cost of all inputs of designing, labour for fabricating and installation of aluminium grid, installation of glazed units, T&P, scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages etc., enabling temporary structures and services,cranes or cradles etc. as described above and as specified. The item includes the cost of getting all the structural and functional design including shop drawings checked by a structural designer, dully approved by Engineer-in-charge. The item also includes the cost of all mock ups at site, cost of all samples of the individual components for testing in an approved laboratory, field tests on the assembled working structural glazing as specified, cleaning and protection till the handing over of the building for occupation. In the end, the Contractor shall provide a water tight structural glazing having all the performance characteristics etc. all complete as required, as per the Architectural drawings, as per item description, as specified, as per the approved shop drawings and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge.
Note:- 1. The cost of providing extruded aluminium frames, shadow boxes, extruded aluminium section capping for fixing in the grooves of the curtain glazing and vermin proof stainless steel wire mesh shall be paid for separately under relevant items under this subhead. However, for the purpose of payment, only the actual area of structural glazing (including width of grooves ) on the external face shall be measured in sqm. up to two decimal places
Note:-2. The following performance test are to be conducted on structural glazing system if area of structural glazing exceeds 2500 Sqm from the certified laboratories accreditated by NABL(National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories), Department of Science & Technologies, India. Cost of testing is payable separately.
The NIT approving authority will decide the necessity of testing on the basis of cost of the work, cost of the test and importance of the work. Piping (heavy class) in MS/GI/SS/UPVC as per the approval of the consultants, to be designed for suitable and corrosion resistance. The discharged piping shall be designed at velocity 1.5 m/s and the suction header shall be designed at velocity 1.2 m/s. Exposed piping shall be UPVC, submerged piping shall be SS and headers of pumps shall be MS/GI.

Providing & fixing on line Full Bore type flow meter with preamplifier & microprocessor based electronic flow meter mounted in plumbing plant room electrical control panel with the following features. Notes:

All starter shall have spare 10 amps 230 V coil auxilliary contactor for Building Automation System
All starter units for pumps to be provided with 3 level liquid level contactor.
All outgoing starter units to have `ON'/`OFF' red lamps.
All pumps to be provided with sequence timer 220 / 440 C AC / DC & alternate working of pumps for 8 hrs. Or alternate uses of pumps after one service in sequence.
All pumps to be provided with over load relay.
All starter to be provided with single phase preventer.
Necessary cable alleys space for spare swithes, internal wiring and copper earthing of all equipment shall also be included. All switch gears / control gears shall be motor duty rating.
Provision shall be made for providing potential free contacts to all pump starters for connections to Building Automation System.
CABLE & CABLE TRAYS
Supplying & laying of following 1100 volt grade PVC sheathed aluminum/copper conductor armoured cables as per specification in existing trenches, cable trays, ducts over bed of sand, clamped to wall with suitable clamps, saddles fixing bolts including connecting testing and commissioning.

EARTHING
Supply and fixing of following bare GI tapes / wires including all necessary fixing accessories and effecting connections as per specifications.
