SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROADS OF RECORD OFFICE AREA AT TB 1 OF BEG AND CENTRE KHADKI UNDER GE (C) KHADKI

Repairs to potholes and depth,not exc 1Sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud,or water,scoring sunken surfaces in roads,paths,etc cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth,making good by applying tack coat@5kg per 10sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam,well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10Sq m,blinded with 0.09Cum of stone chippings,6.3mm size and well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam,binder and chipping)depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled,macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400sqm ,exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(Note : BM to be scaryfing using cold milling machine n.exc 100 mm depth and Hauling the mild material upto any Lead and stacking at suitable site.)

Preparing Unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required ,material to be used obtained from scaryfying complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as pe table 400-13 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 OOKN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer VG 10 @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq m with sprayer over existing surface etc complete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder of VG 30 (Paving bitumen any penetration) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber(consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified & directed, Duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller etc ccomplete all as specied and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incarporating in the work. (ii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved mix design in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with price adjustment.
