| 4 | Supply, handing, fabrication and erection of Peripheral circulation vents as per attached drawing and shall be located on the tank roof (unless otherwise specified by the Purchaser of IFR) and meet the requirements of H.5.3.3 of design code of API 650 APPENDIX , so that they are above the seal of the internal floating roof when the tank is full. The maximum spacing between vents shall be 10 m (32 ft), based on an arc measured at the tank shell, but there shall not be fewer than four equally-spaced vents. The venting shall be distributed such that the sum of the open areas of the vents located within any 10 m (32 ft) interval is at least 0.2 m2 (2.0 ft2). | 5 | Design as per the site, Supplying, handling, fabrication and fixing of 600mm dia gauge well assembly & guide post and vertical ladder with one no of 600 mm dia (Gauge Well) & 1 no of 200mm dia pipe still well for secondary radar gauge conforming to ASTM A 106 schedule 40 grade B, Seamless pipes for IFR MS TANK OF SIZE 14 M DIAMETER x 11 M HEIGHT. The work shall be executed as per the approved drawing including making safety arrangement of all plant and machineries for shifting the material inside tank, erection of pipes, modifying existing landing platform, all complete as per specifications, drawings/design and directions of site Engineer. The work also includes: 1) Inside gauge well pipe of 600mm dia. following sizes of still well pipe with matching nozzles & flanges (WNRF confirming to ASTM A 105 ,class 150, ASME B 16.5) to be provided as per approved drawings and instructions of engineer-in-charge :(a) 200 mm dia pipe (ASTM A106, Schedule 40, Grade B, Seamless) upto tank bottom for primary Radar Gauge : 1 no.(b) 150 mm dia pipe (ASTM A 106, Schedule 40, Grade B) upto tank bottom along with gauge hatch for manual dip & sampling : 1no.(c) 80mm dia. pipe (ASTM A 106, Schedule 40, Grade B) upto tank bottom for temperature sensor : 1 no.(d) 80 mm dia. nozzle for AOPS with pipe confirming to ASTM A 106,Schedule 40, Grade B and WNRF flange : 1 nos.(e) 100 mm dia. Nozzle for density probe with pipe confirming to ASTM A106, Schedule 40, Grade B and WNRF flange : 1 nos.(f) 25 mm dia. Pipe (ASTM A 106, Schedule 160, Grade B, Seamless) upto tank bottom for Thermal Expansion relief line along with syphon breaker arrangement : 1 no.Nozzles to be provided for all the above still wells with pipes confirming to ASTM A 106, Schedule 40, Grade B, Seamless/ non-seamless as per still well pipe specifications and WNRF flange confirming to ASTMA 105, class 150, ASME B 16.5. All the nozzles to be fixed by making suitable openings over BLRF (ASTM A 105, class 150, ASME B 16.5) of 600mmdia. 2) Modifying existing top landing platform by cutting the Existing structural members/grating and extending the same by using same/higher size of steel sections for accomodating and holding securely the combined gauge well pipe assembly and for creating sufficient space for safe working by field personnel on landing platform. Modification to top landing shall be carried out as per site requirement & as per direction of site engineer. Paint to be repaired as per specifications or as directed by site-in-charge/ engineer-in-charge after modification in the structurals. 3) Providing necessary 25x150mm vertical slots at 305 mm centre to centre spacing at 180 degree alternate along vertical line in 600mm diapipe. 20mm dia holes at 305 mm centre to centre spacing at 180 degree alternate shall be provided for full length of 200 mm dia, 150 mmdip/gauge pipe & 80mm dia temperature gauge pipe. Welding of pipes shall be butt welded after fixing the contour plates for holding all the pipes at desired position, including grinding the joints for smooth surface finish of 600mm dia pipe for smooth movement of deck &roller assembly. The top flange of combined gauge well assembly shall beat minimum 100mm above top surface of landing platform. Extension of 200dia pipes shall be kept min 500 mm above landing platform for mounting/fixing primary & secondary radar gauges assembly. Necessary box opening and socket shall also be provided for temperature sensor assembly. 600 mm dia pipe shall be either of TATA/MSL/JINDAL make or equivalent imported pipe conforming to specifications. Length of lower pipe(s) shall not be less than 6m and that of top pipes length shall be adjusted as per total required height of gauge well pipe. The contractor shall submit the desired test reports of the manufacturer for imported 600mm dia pipe with respect to conformity to the specifications. 200 mm , 150mm, 80 mm, 25mm dia pipe shall be of TATA/MSL/JINDAL makes only. 4) Supplying and making/fabricating and welding 10mm thick MS contour plates of size 10mm, size suiting position of 200 mm dia, 150mm and 80mmpipes for holding them in plumb inside 600 mm dia still well pipe (one no. each at top & bottom open ends & one at intermittent weld joints) including aligning and welding inside still well pipe. 5) Supply & welding 16 mm dia rod at interval of 250 mm between600 mm dia pipe and 200 mm dia pipe (placed outside 600mm dia.) in order to make verticle ladder. 6) Supplying and welding side supports of ISMC150 for combined gauge well pipe (600mm dia) at required height from 25mm thick bottom plate asper drawing in order to clear deck when in resting position. 80mm gap on both sides shall be maintained from combined gauge well pipe of 600 mm dia to ISMC 150 supports for free movement of sleeve. All supports shall be adequately reinforced on shell plate using 250x250mmx12mm thick pad plates. 7) Supplying and welding supports for 200/150 mm dia as per drawing :Two ISA75x75x8 vertical supports (as per the drawing) welded with dip pipe and two nos horizontal ISA 75x75x8 supports to be welded with shell and vertical supports with top surface of horizontal supports at 300mmfrom datum plate. 8) Supplying and welding supports for 80/25 mm dia pipe as per drawingno. The angle supports to be welded with datum plate and 150/200 mm diapipe. The pipe tip shall be kept at a clear distance of 150mm from datum plate. The similar supports arrangements shall be made for 200mm and150 mm dia pipes. 9) Supplying and welding 1 No 50 mm long 150mm dia nozzle and 1 No 25 mmlong 100mm dia nozzle for fixing level switch assembly and expansion line in the top blind flange of gauge well pipe including supply of pipe & flange of 50 mm & 25 mm dia, cutting and welding, labouretc. 10) Making manhole of 750 mm x 750 mm (internal) size, with 3 mm AlCover with handle to make way for verticle ladder by cutting roof plate as per the drawing attached.""11) Supply and Fixing of 150 MM dia gauge hatch with spark proof cover as per drgno BR/CR/253 & BR/FR/257 resp. | 6 | HYDRO-TESTING OF TANKS: Cleaning of tank after hydrotest, boxing up of tank after completion of all works & inspection, including supplying and fixing gasket along with bolts & nuts confirming to IS 1363 & 1367 and washers of approved quality .
