EXTERNAL SMART PERIODICAL SERVICES TO CERTAIN BUILDINGS INCLUDING REPAIRS TO BROKEN CHAJJA FACIA, EXTERNAL PLASTERING AND GI/CI PIPE LINE OF MANEKSHAW MARG, URBAN VILLAGE AND CASSEL ROAD IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-I UNDER GE (EAST) DELHI CANTT-10

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls and concrete surface of ceiling etc including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- This Item will be also executed in highrise bldgs (G+8) and necessary provision for T&P, scaffoling and safety measures (100 % compulsory scaffoling) etc shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer for the same.)

M & L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 and including demolition of old brick/ PCC block masonry complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces wall, pillars, cornices, chajja, fascia drop wall, parapet, roof projection over hanging slab etc in cement mortar 1:4 and finished even and fair with liquid water proofing compound as per manufaturer's instructions finishing surfaces even and fair complete all as specified and directed. (liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid sepretaely).

Taking down cement plaster / duster bed PCC of Column, chajja, Parapets of roof, facia, drops etc and making good with cement plaster 10mm thick in CM 1:3 with PCC 1:2:4, (average thickness of PCC 25mm) as required, brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per sq. metre including necessary form work and scaffolding upto 9th floor complete all as specified. NOTE:-The work will be also executed at Highrise bldgs and necessary T&P, 100 % scaffoling is included in Quoted rates.

M & L Rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of concrete or concrete surface in ceiling in CM 1:3, finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in Charge.

M&L for rough cast plaster 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- This Item will be also executed in highrise bldgs and necessary provision for T&P, scaffoling and safety measures etc shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer for the same.

M & L for chipping of spalled and loose concrete and cleaning rust from reinforcement by sand blasting. Scrubbing down concrete surface with wire brushes cleaning with water allowed to dry appling a layer of zinc rich epoxy primer as anti rust on all exposed reinfocement followed by a layer of bonding coat of a layer of epoxy adhesive on complete exposed surfaces of concrete and provide gunniting in two layers over steel welded mesh 2 mm dia of wire and total over steel weded mesh 2 mm dia of wire and total aperture 75 mm, thickness of gunite n.exc 25 mm thick (average thickness) using cement mortar 1:2 with OPC 43 grade cement mixed with polycrete admixture @ 2 % by weight of cement or as per manufactures instructions and finally applying cement plaster over gunite surfaces of required thickness to give an even uniform and smooth finished conforming to proper geometrics in cement mortar 1:4 tomatch with the existing surface as in side and soffits of slabs, chajjas, fins, ceiling, facias, parapets, columns and beams etc complete including necessary scaffolding, shuttering necessary chased to brick work or RCC members at any height uoto full height of buildings including removing of small trees shrubs etc comple all as specified and directed. (Note : Steel mesh to be welded with the existing reinforcement. The cost of welded mesh is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.)

M&L for followings :- (i) Removing plaster & finishes from all exposed / damaged portion of facia, roof projection, parapet, chajjas , over hanging slabs, columns, slabs & beams (ii) After cleaning gently removing cover concrete using pneumatic/electric chipper or any other approved tool in entire portion of structural member (removal of cover concrete shall be done to an extent when reinforcement is visible) (iii) Removal of cover concrete with under cutting of up to a depth of 20mm beyond reinforcement around full circumference & full length of bar where directed. (concrete shall be stripped to an extent concrete substrate is exposed and cleaning all around. (iv) Cleaning exposed concrete substrate by using water jet. (v) Removing visible rust along the length of reinforcement using hand tools as approved. (vi) Any other work as directed by Engr-in-charge to present clean surface for determination of type of repair to be carried out complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Quoted rates shall deem including items of work as specified under BOQ item Nos 8.02 & 8.03)

M&L for providing rust proof /anti corrosive treatment to bars :- (i) Apply a single coat of Alkaline rust converting primer on alround bars new & old as recommended by the manufactuer (iii) Apply two coats of polymer modified anti corrosive cementitious coating with a total thickness of 2mm coat on bars alround new & old as recommended by the manufactuer. Note : Anti corrosive treatment shall be continuous espcially in the regions where pitting, imperfections, etc were present on the surface of the bars. It is important that the rear portions of re bars (those towards the concrete substrate) should not be left without coating.

M&L for providing PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) :- (i) Dry sub strate surface and free of debris & dust (ii) Applying Epoxy bond coat on the sound substrate using approved spray machine or suitable brushes & ensuring that no pin holes are visible.(In case pin holes are still visible after a coat, a second coat shall be applied to ensure absence of pin holes). (iii) Immediately after application of epoxy bond coat as above apply PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) of atleast strength equivalent of M-40 concrete of average 25 mm thickness. Note : Application of PMM shall be preferably be in coats of appx 10mm thickness. PMM work shall be executed in fairely rapid successions so as entire work is completed with in 30 mins). PMM shall be pre packed ready to use. (iv) PMM surface to be moist cured for three days followed by air curing in temperature as recommended by manufactuer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Item will be also executed in highrise bldgs G+8 floor height and necessary provision for T&P, 100 %compulsory scaffoling and safety measures etc shall deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer for the same.)
