Boring with 250mm id Housing Pipe upto 150 m depth BGL (0 to 150 m)

Supplying, lowering of MS Pipe as per IS: 4270-2001 including MS sockets having dimensions as per IS code duly welded with MS electrode to have extra strength to lower the pipe into tubewell bore. 200 mm nominal diameter (weight 41.6 kg per meter) 8 mm thickness

Supplying Fixing & lowering of Stainless Steel Cage type wire wound screen as per IS: 8110-2000 or latest ISI marked Duly welded with suitable grade S.S welding electrode to lower the strainer into tubewell bore. 200 mm internal diameter (slot size 0.15 mm) 6.30 mm thickness

Supplying, Lowering & fixing of M.S. special socket to connect S.S. Strainer to M.S. Pipe duly welded with suitable grade welding electrode complete in all respect. (200 mm internal diameter)

Supplying, Lowering & fixing of stainless steel socket as per IS 8110-2000 or latest ISI marked duly welded with suitable grade SS welding electrode to lower the strainer into T/Well bore complete in all respect. (200 mm i/d)

Supplying at site Wooden box of suitable size with Lid & locking arrangement for preserving strata sample collected from the bore.

Providing & Installing Testing & Commissioning of One No. Electrically driven Submersible Pumping set of reputed Make capable of delivering 604 LPM against a head of 64 mtr along with electric panel board consisting of electric appliances such as automatic Star Delta Push Button or oil immersed Starter, Main Switch, VM, Ampere Meter, ELCB, Shunt Capacitor, Single Phase preventer, Indicating Lamps, Kit-Kat etc. including GI Column Pipe of suitable size 80 mm =50 mtr (in 3 mtr lengths each with flanges , screwed and welded on both sides) rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts submersible cable 4 mm2 = 100 mtr (reputed make) complete in all respects as per standard Specifications.

Supplying, Laying, Jointing, Cutting and Testing of 160 mm O/d PVC Pipes and Specials for 10 kg per cm2 including cost of excavation complete in all respects as per DWSS standard analysis. Providing & fixing C.I/D.I Flanged end, stem of SS (AIS 1410) and Bronze (gunmetal) working parts Sluice Valves ISI marked 14846-2000, including jointing, testing & cost of Nut, Bolt & insertion sheet, all carriage complete (with the approval of Engineer - in – charge) 150 mm i/d Sluice Valves Flanged

Construction of masonry sluice valve chamber excluding Sluice valve cover as per standard design & drawings of public health department (size 0.9m x 0.9m)

Providing and installing 150 mm dia delivery main (From Tube well to Duck Foot bend including cost of C.I/D.F Pipes, D/F Sluice valves, D/F NRV & Specials as C.I Bends, Tail Piece Tees etc.. inside the pump chamber as per standard design complete in all respects

Construction of Gravel Pit for Tubewell outside Pump Chamber as per Standard Drawing/Design

CONDITIONS :-

Item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for the Employer when execut6ed and shall be deemed covered by the other rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities.

Unit rates and prices shall be quated by the bidder in indian ruppees.

Where there is a discrepancy between the rate in figures and words, the rates in words will govern.

Where there is a discrepancy between the rate and the line total resulting from muluplying the unit rate by quantity the unit rate quoted shall govern.

Any item of work not included in the above contract schedule of rates and got done at the site of work; the same will be paid according to CSR-2010 subject to the premium or discount tendered by the contractor. In the case of non-schedule items, the decision of the Engineer-in-charge will be final and binding upon the contractor. In case any item which is a part of lump-sum rate is be deducted @CSR rates + Ceiling premium prevailing on the date of tender

The work will be carried out in accordance with PWD Book of specifications - 1963 edition with upto date amendments.

Approximate quantities are given in the contract schedule of rates and these can vary at the time of execution of the work. The payment will be made according to the actual work done by the contractor.

All amendments issued on the common schedule of rates 2010. up to the date of opening of tenders will be applicable on the contract schedule of rates.

Contractor should clearly quote his rates in figures & words. Conditional tender will be rejected.

All items and rates provided in the DNIT are subject to the footnotes give in CSR-2010

The Engineer-in-charge will have full powers to change the layout of the work covered in this contract if considered necessary.

No claim will be entertained form the contractor in case, any mistake in description rates or unit occurs in any item taken in this schedule while preparing this DNIT or on account of typing or comparison or over writing. The same will be rectified at any time as per common schedule of rates 2010 along with upto date amendments.

The arrangements of bricks at site of work would be done by the contractor at his own level from his own source.

For any other non-schedule items, the contractor will submit through Engineer-in-charge, the analysis of rates in triplicate based on purchased vouchers. A margin of 10% shall be allowed for material components and 21.5% on labour components and contractor shall produce photo stat copies of the purchase vouchers in support of his claim. The decision of the Engineer-in-charge/Competent authority in the matter shall be final and binding on the contractor.

All the extra items will be got approved from the competent authority and no premium will be allowed on non schedule item

Pavement for the carriage of material shall be paid as per the rates quoted by the tenderer.

Time period allowed for completion of work in 1 months.

If contractor allowed for completion of work within 7 days from the date of allotment, DWSS reserve the right to impose penalty or withdraw the work and propose action for debarring in future tendering or both; decision of Chief Engineer (North) shall be binding.
