Following Works are to be Carried out on 220KV Transmission Lines under E.T.D., Budaun during the Period of 1 Year, with all Cost of Men, Misc. Consumables, T&Ps etc. Required for Satisfactory Completion of the Work as per Technical Specifications & Direction of the Supervising Engineer :
(1) Periodic (Bi-Monthly / Quarterly) Routine Tower to Tower Patrolling from one end to other end of Following Transmission Lines and Submission of Patrolling Report in Triplicate in Prescribed Proforma Mentioning the Stolen / Missing Tower Parts & Tower Accessories; Trees Falling in the Range of Line Corridor; Damage to Earthwire, Conductor, Jumper, Insulator & other Line Accessories; damage to Foundation, Coping, Chimney, Earthing etc. with all due Care of Safety & Precautions :
(a) 220KV Budaun-OCBTL Ckt-I on S.C. Towers (Total Line Length : 10Km., 10 Km × 4 Quarter = 40 Km)
(b) 220KV Budaun-OCBTL Ckt-II on S.C. Towers (Total Line Length : 19Km., 19 Km × 4 Quarter = 76 Km)
(c)220KV Budaun-Roza Ckt. - I & II on D.C. Towers (Total Line Length : 96.825 Km., 96.825 Km × 4 Quarter = 387.3 Km)
(2) Emergency Patrolling of the above Transmission Lines in the event of Tripping / Break Down of the Line (to Commence within 2 hrs. of Intimation for the same, if Tripping / Breakdown in Day Time and by 07:00 A.M., if Tripping / Breakdown in Night Hours) as per Instructions of Supervising Engineer during the Period of 1 Year , as per Details given below :
(a) Emergency Patrolling of Line upto 20 Km Distance. (1 Job for each Emergency Patrolling)
(b) Emergency Patrolling of Line for more than 20 Km upto 50 Km Distance. (1 Job for each Emergency Patrolling)
(c) Emergency Patrolling of Line more than 50 Km Distance (1 Job for each Emergency Patrolling).
(3) Periodic Cutting of different types of Trees like Mango, Neem, Sheesham, Peepal, Semal, Eucalyptus, Popular etc. having Girth 0.5 Meter to 1.0 Meter and Falling in the Range of Corridor of above Transmission Lines to Provide Minimum Clearance of about 8 Meter between the Tree & Conductors on both side of the Towers / Line with all due Care of Safety & Precautions to Avoid any damage to nearby Buildings, Power & Telephone Lines passing nearby, Crops, other nearby Trees etc. The Work also includes Removing, Eliminating & Cleaning the Line Sites after Cutting of the Trees during the Period of 1 Year.
(4) Periodic Lopping & Chopping of Branches of different types of Trees like Mango, Neem, Sheesham, Peepal, Semal, Eucalyptus, Popular etc., Falling in the Range of Corridor of the above Transmission Lines to Provide the Minimum Clearance of about 8 Meter between the Tree & Conductors on both side of the Towers / Conductors of above said Transmission Line with all due Care of Safety & Precautions to Avoid any Damage to nearby Buildings, Power & Telephone Lines Passing nearby, Crops, other nearby Trees etc. The Work also includes Removing, Eliminating & Cleaning the Line Sites after Lopping & Chopping of the Trees during the Period of 1 Year.
Routine Normal & Breakdown Maintenance of Above 220KV Transmission Lines under E.T.D., Budaun alongwith other associated Works during the Period of 1 Year, with all due Care of Safety & Precautions, with all Cost of Men, Misc. Consumables, T&Ps etc. Required for Satisfactory Completion of the Work as per Technical Specifications & Direction of the Supervising Engineer including Transportation of Materials from Designated Storage Place to Line Site and Back the Unutilized / Received Back Materials to respective Stores at the Sub Station :
(1) General/Normal Preventive Maintenance Work on above Transmission Lines:
(a) Removal of Bolts - Nuts of damaged / Cut Tower Pieces of above 220KV Transmission Lines by due Cutting of Tack Welding with the help of Grinding/Cutting Tools. (No. per Bolt)
(b) Replenishment of Tower Part in Place of Missing Ones after due Fabrication of Tower Parts as per Sample from off sizes G.I. Angles to be Provided by the Department as per Requirement by due Cutting. Drilling etc, and then, Fixing the same at Required Places at different Tower Locations of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Proper Tightening & Chamfering etc. including Transportation of G.I. Angles.
(c) Tack Welding of the Bolts - Nuts of the newly Replenished Towers Parts with 3 tacks of 10 mm thickness & Finally, Applying of Zinc Rich Aluminium Paint on the Affected Surfaces on above 220KV Transmission Lines. (No. per Bolt).
(d) Providing & Fixing of Number Plate as per Sample in Place of Missing Ones at different Tower Locations of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Proper Tightening including Cost of Number Plate.
(e) Providing & Fixing of Phase Plate Set as per Sample in Place of Missing Ones at different Tower Locations of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Proper Tightening including Cost of Phase Plate Set.
(f) Providing & Fixing of Danger Plate as per Sample in Place of Missing Ones at different Tower Locations of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Proper Tightening including Cost of Danger Plate.
(g) Earthing Work on above 220KV Transmission Lines (at Locations where Earthing is Damaged) by Providing of Pipe type Earthing Equipment Set, consisting of 32 mm dia. 3050 mm Long Heavy Duty Perforated 'C' Class G.I. Pipe, 50 mm x 6 mm size & 4750 mm Long Galvanized Steel Flat, 2 No. 12 mm x 40 mm size G.I. Bolts -Nuts - Spring Washers etc, as per Sample including Earth Work and Cost of Coke, Salt etc. (1 Job per Earthing)
(h) Repairing of Damaged Coping of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Cost of Cement, Mortar, Sand etc. (I Job for cach Leg of the Tower).
(i) Repairing of Damaged Chimney of above 220KV Transmission Lines including Breaking of Damaged Portion, if any, with Cost of Cement, Mortar, Sand etc. (1 Job for each Chimney)
(j) Back Filling of Tower Legs of above 220KV Transmission Lines with Earth upto Ground Level including Cost of Earth etc.
(k) Tightening of Jumper alongwith Replacement of Fasteners, if Required, to be Provided by the Department as per Requirement on Section Towers of above 220KV Transmission Lines:
(l) Re-Fixing & Tightening of Dislocated / Shifted Conductor Vibration Damper to its Place including Replacement of Fasteners, if Required, to be Provided by the Department as per Requirement on above 220KV Transmission Lines:
(m) Tightening of Earth Wire Suspension Clamp on 'A' type Towers of above 220KV Transmission Lines
(n) Replacement of Damaged Earth Wire Copper Bond by New Ones to be Provided by the Department on Section Towers of above 220KV Transmission Lines.
(o) Re-Fixing & Tightening of Dislocated / Shifted Earth Wire Vibration Damper to its Place including Replacement of Fasteners, if Required, to be Provided by the Department as per Requirement on above 220KV Transmission Lines
(2) Routine Preventive Maintenance Work and Tripping / Breakdown Based Emergency Maintenance Work on above Transmission Lines (Work during Shut Down):
(a) Diversion / Mobilization of Gang for Attending Break Down due to Damage of Jumper / Suspension Disc Insulators / Suspension Disc Insulator String / Suspension Polymer Insulator String etc. of above 220KV Transmission Lines to Complete the Work in Bare Minimum Time and Retum Back of the Gang after Completion of the Work. (1 Job per Break Down / Shut Down)
(b) Replacement of Damaged Jumper alongwith Replacement of Fasteners with New Ones by Making Jumper with Compression Joint Method / Replenishment of Jumper with the help of P.G. Clamps on 220KV Transmission Lines:
(c) Replacement of Damaged / De-Capped Suspension Disc Insulators / Suspension Disc Insulator String / Damaged Suspension Polymer Insulator String on Suspension Towers of 220KV Transmission Lines:
(3) Major Routine Preventive Maintenance Work on above Transmission Lines (Work during Planned Shut Down)
(a) Diversion / Mobilization of Gang for Replacement of Damaged Tension Disc Insulator / Tension Disc Insulator String / Polymer Insulator String, Replacement / Repairing of Damaged Portion of Conductor, Removal of P.G. Clamps from the Conductor Earlier Used for Connecting the Jumper by Fixing of Jumper with Compressed Cone on Conductor and Replacement / Repairing of Damaged Portion of Earth Wire / Replenishment of Missing Earth Wire of above 220KV Transmission Lines Required to Complete the Work in Bare Minimum Time and Return Back of the Gang after Completion of the Work (1 Job per Plarned Shut Down)
(b) Replacement of Damaged / Decapped Tension Dise Insulator / Tension Dise Insulator String / Defective Tension Polymer Insulator String on Section Towers of above 220KV Transmission Lines (I Job per String):
(C) Replacement / Repairing of Damaged Portion of Conductor / Replacement of P.G. Clamps from the Conductor of above 220KV Transmission Line by Way of Releasing the Respective Phase Conductor from Suspension Fitting of the Towers, if Required between the Section Towers, Cutting of the Damaged Portion / Part Portion of the Conductor, Jointing new Conductor with the help of Mid Span Joint & Dead End Fitting by Making Compression Joint. Finally, Re-Stringing & Sagging of the Conductor as per Sag Chart with Clamping the Conductor at Suspension Towers as Required, as per Details below :
(i) 1 Conductor of 1 Span Section
(ii) 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length upto 1 Km
(iii) 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length between 1 to 2 Km
(iv) 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length more than 2 Km
(d) Replacement / Repairing of Damaged Portion of Earth Wire / Replenishment of Missing Earth Wire of above 220KV Transmission Lines by Way of Releasing the Earth Wire from Suspension Fitting of Towers between the Section, Cutting Damaged Portion of Earth Wire, Jointing of new Earth Wire with the help of Mid Span Joint / Dead End Fitting by Making Compression Joint. Finally, Re-Stringing and Sagging of the Earth Wire as per Sag Chart with Clamping at Suspension Towers as Required, as per Details below:
(1) Earth Wire of 1 Span Section
(2) Earth Wire of more than 1 Span Section and Length upto 1 Km
(3) Earth Wire of more than 1 Span Section and Length between 1 to 2 Km
(4) Earth Wire of more than 1 Span Section and Length more than 2 Km
(4) Tripping / Breakdown Based Emergency Major Maintenance Work on above Transmission Lines (Work during Break Down/ Emergency Shut Down):
(a) Immediate Diversion / Mobilization of Gang for Attending Break Down due to Damage of Tension Disc Insulator String / Tension Polymer Insulator String / Conductor / Earth Wire of above 220KV Transmission Lines Required to Complete the Work in Bare Minimum Time and Return Back of the Gang after Completion of the Work. (1 Job per Break Down).
(b) Replacement of Damaged / De-Copped Tension Disc Insulator / Tension Disc Insulator String / Damaged Tension Polymer Insulator String on Section Towers of above 220KV Transmission Lines:
(c) Attending Break Down of Conductor by Replacement / Repairing of Damaged Portion of Conductor of above 220KV Transmission Lines by Way of Releasing the Respective Phase Conductor from Suspension Fitting of the Towers, if Required between the Section Tower, Cutting of Damaged Portion of the Conductor, Jointing new Conductor with the help of Mid Span Joint / Dead End Fitting / Repair Sleeve by Making Compression Joint. Finally, Re-Stringing and Sagging of the Conductor as per Sag Chart with Clamping the Conductor at Suspension Towers as Required, as per Details below:
(i) 1 Conductor of 1 Span Section
(ii) 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length upto 1 Km
(iii) 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length between 1 to 2 Km
(iv 1 Conductor of more than 1 Span Section and Length more than 2 Km
