Material and labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all the loose dirt etc. including removing the mud etc. to a distance minimum 1.5 mtrs from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5Kg per 10 sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including Supplying and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of agrgregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Govt Lab / Govt Engineering Collage / CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the Accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 4. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Material and labour for Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfacesin roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 kg / X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exe 30mm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge.. Note as per MORTH Specification: (i) Loose material and standing water shall be brushed from the area to be repaired. (ii) Potholes shall be cut to vertical sides and deepened to reach sound material . (iii) Fill the patch with the granular mix in layers of about 75mm at a time. Each layer shall be compacted with hand rammers or with small vibratory compactors. The patch shall be compacted to the correct shape. (iv)100% quantity of Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (v) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings

Material and Labour for providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness not exceeding 75mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 3.4 % by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Govt Lab / Govt Engineering Collage / CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the Accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/ per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. The BM shall be covered with top layer / wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. 3. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Material and labour for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm / Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100mm / 150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
