REPAIR/MAINT OF DISPERSAL JOINTS FILLING AT AF STN SONEGAON.

M & L for preparation of existing joints by manually/mechanically raking out for a depth of 20 to 25mm and width of joints 20 to 25mm, clearing the joints with coir brushes and removing all the fine particles, clearing to concrete surfaces and joints with the help of air compressor and removing away the existing sealing compound and all other loose materials to a distance exc 100m but n exc 250m as directed and providing a back rod/de-bonding strip (thickness 10 to 12mm), applying primer to joint with light pressure and filling the joints with polyurethane base sealing compound (pitch free) ISI marked including fixing masking tape to prevent edges of joints becoming dirty due to spillage of sealant complete all as specified and directed. Note : PU to be mixed and filled by only OEM. Make : - M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd, M/s Thermax Ltd, M/S Sika India Pvt. Ltd, M/S Fosroc Chemicals, M/S STP Ltd, M/S Bostik India Pvt Ltd.

All as per item No 1.00 above but, width of joints 15mm to 20mm complete all as specified and directed

M&L for elastomeric concrete Flex O Patch on Runway/Dispersal /Taxi track etc all as per following specifications and as directed by Engineer -In-Charge. a) Cutting/chipping of existing concrete with concrete cutter in proper alignment, removing all loose/concrete dust etc by air blower and carefully cleaning the surfaces as directed to receive new concrete material including removal of debris from the site. b) Applying primer to old concrete surfaces with using pump sprayer or brush covering all the area with primer as directed. c)Pouring or of approved manufactured mixed with all ingredients as per manufacturer's instructions and pouring the mix in the affected area trowelled to achieve grooved or textured finish including necessary form work all as directed and specified as per manufacturers instructions. Note : (a) All the above work shall be carried out through authorised applicator of manufacturer under necessary certificate rendered by manufacturer (b) Contractor should produce original PVs from approved manufacturer for materials incorporated in work. Make of primer and Elastomeric concrete Flex O Patch : Choksey chemicals or equivalant approved by AGE(I). Primer shall be allowed to dry 30 mins before pouring "Flex O Patch" concrete.
