Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth, getting out the excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material / soils to a distance n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm as in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out defective cable XLPE/PVC sheathed 1100 volt grade heavy duty armoured with aluminium conductor 2 core 10 sqmm from trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately. However, cost of removal / taking out brick protection and GI pipe is included in the unit quoted rate of this item.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of underground cable XLPE insulated, 1100 volt grade heavy duty armoured with stranded aluminium conductor 2 core 10 sqmm laid in trenches/duct/pipe including all electrical connection with required lugs and nuts, bolts complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection shall be measured and paid for separately

Material and labour sand cushioning using dry and clean Tibba Sand for protection of underground cable, laid in two layers, first layer 80mm thick before laying of cable and second layer 150mm thick after laying cable, consolidated and compacted complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Laying well burnt old size sub Class ‘B’ bricks, laid flat, in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour as in repairs earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground, vertically to a depth not less than 3.00 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick and packed layers of charcoal, dust and common salt, earth GI strip of size 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and earth strip protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40mm bore and water pipe 20 mm bore GI light grade with funnel and wire mesh complete including excavation and earth work, PCC chamber and cover in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in lieu of CI cover and frame etc all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 (Part-I).

Taking down /removing the unserviceable spares / parts required for the periodical service/ maintenance of 320 KVA DG Set 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire 50HZ, draining out the old engine oil, filling of new engine oil, top up coolant, cleaning and washing the oil sump with kerosene oil to make it free from dust and unwanted particles, cleaning of radiator throuhly with soda ash powder greasing and lubricting all mobile parts, replacement of unserviceable spares / parts with new ones as directed and making it fully functional and testing on full load in the presence of Engineer-in- Charge. Notes : Spare parts, coolant, Engine oil required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevent item of this schedule.

M&L as in repairs mild steel work in framed work such as straps, ties Clamps, Motor pumpset base etc., and similar work confirming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 fixed with nuts, bolts and washers or by welding where necessary and incl painting the surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour as approved over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass-concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable street light / road light /security light / highmast light of any capacity / type from poles/wall at any height etc including removal of connection using labour / machinery equipment for maint / repair or to deposit in the storeyard / removal from site complete all as specified and as directed

Fixing only in its original place on poles / wall after and including necessary repair to street light / road light /security light / highmast light of any capacity / type replacement of defective parts at any height etc using labour / machinery equipment as required including making connection of the same and testing on the completion all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Serviceable light fitting taken down vide item above shall be fixed under this item. (ii) All spares parts required forrepair will be measured and paid under relevent item of schedule.
