M&L for cleaning and racking out the existing Expansion joints/Construction joints/ Dummy joints sealed with sealing compound grade 'B' or any description of polyurethane, 30mm to 40mm wide and 35mm to 45mm deep by appropriate hand tools (chisel and hammer or 'L' hook including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or any other means such as chisel hammer and grinding or any tools without damaging the edges and sides of the joint and removing the loose particles using wire brush and hot compressed air and priming the sides and making the surface bitumen free as per the manufacturer's instructions, provision of de bonding strip (thickness shall be 20 to 25% more than the width of joint) at bottom of joint and sealed the joint with pitch free grey polyurethane sealant conforming to BS-5212 type-FB) having minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) as 30 %. Minimum depth of the sealant above debonding strip shall be 10mm to15 mm and applying the masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No 1 to 21. (a) The contractor will give daily attendance in ATC alongwith rep of GE to note the requirement of repair work. (b) The contractor will ensure that minimum two skilled worker and approved make of materials are held to attend the complaint within 24 hours notice, failing which a penal recovery of Rs 5000/- per day for delay shall be affected and the work required shall be got completed by GE through other agency and cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor. (c) Primer and sealing compound shall be of same manufacturer and work shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer. Specific note for Item No 1 to 9:Contractor shall furnish guranttee for 10 years on stamp paper for the joint filling against rectification of defects under his own expenses and arrangements.

All as per Item No 01 here-in-before but Expansion joints/Construction joints/ Dummy joints of size 20mm to 25mm wide and 25mm to 35mm deep.

Raking out of sealing compound of any description from Expansion joints/Construction joints of size 30mm to 40mm wide and 35mm to 45mm deep removing the debris from site, treating sides and bottom of the joints with primer refilling the joints with sealing compound grade 'B' removing spilled sealing compound if any with benzene carbon tetra chloride or kerosene oil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No 04 here-in-before but Expansion joints/Construction jointsof size 25mm to 35mm wide and 20mm to 35mm deep.

All as per Item No 04 here-in-before but Expansion joints/Construction joints of size 8mm to 25mm wide and 15mm to 35mm deep.

M&L for cutting existing runway/taxi track at cracks and spalled edges upto a minimum depth 25 to 30mm by mechanical tools making grooves at cleaning through air blower/air blasting and applying propriety primer on the cleaned surface to obtain tack and finally filling in Elastomeric Concrete of make Fosroc chemicals/Chokesy chemicals Pvt Ltd/ CIPY Polyurethane Pvt Ltd/BASF India Ltd (Prepared by mixing Part A & Part B, adding fiberglass sand as per manufacturer's instructions and properly mixing in purpose made electrically operated mixer plant) to obtain a homogeneous mix and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish including connected joints expansion/construction/dummy joint filling with sealing compound/polyurethane sealant complete all as specified and directed.

Alll as per Item No 07 here-in-before but depth 30 to 40mm.

M&L for cutting for existing loose patches/spelled edges of concrete pavements in square/rectangular shape n.exc average depth 25mm removing debris from sites and shaping the patch cleaning with broom and compressed air and and applying epoxy resin mortar of make Fosroc chemicals/Chokesy chemicals Pvt Ltd/CIPY Polyurethane Pvt Ltd/BASF India Ltd (prepared by mixing in the ratio by weight and adding quartz sand all as per manufacturer's instructions) over two coats epoxy resin primer to bottom and sides of prepared surfaces and including connected joints expansion/construction/dummy joint filling with sealing compound/polyurethane sealant complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning existing holes/cavaties with broom and compressed air surfaces area not exceeding 1Sqcm each of any shape and filling with epoxy resin mortar of make Fosroc chemicals/Chokesy chemicals Pvt Ltd/CIPY Polyurethane Pvt Ltd/BASF India Ltd , prepared by mixing all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 10 here-in-before but surfaces area exceeding 1 Sqcm but not exceeding 2 Sqcm each

Demolition of cement concrete of any description exceeding 15cm thickness as in floor/pavings/hardstanding and removing the debris upto 5 Km or outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base, foundation and filling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coarse sand filling under floor or in foundation including watering, leveling and consolidation etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for high density polythene film ( transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D-2103, IS-2508) , non-recycled laid with side and end overlapping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Coarse Sand layer shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (ii) Measurement shall be for net area. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include overlapping of polythene film.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) thickness upto 250mm with minimum field Flexural Strength of 45 Kg/Sqcm lower control limit (LCL) at 28 days in pavement slab using min 400 Kg of cement per cum (only 43 grade OPC must be used in PQC) mixed with non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement by mech means at the rate of 0.25% by weight of cement per cum of PQC. The max size of aggregate in PQC must be 31.5mm and gradation (as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification) including formwork for laying in bays, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :- (i) Expansion joints, Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. No deduction shall be made in computing PQC for Construction joints and Dummy (Contraction) joints. (iii) Finishing coat shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) For the purpose of pricing this item, cement content shall be considered 400 Kg/Cum. Minus price adjustment @ Rs 8 per Kg for cement shall be made to the quoted rates in case quantity of cement is less than 400 Kg/ Cum. However no plus price adjustment shall be made to the quoted rate in case quantity of cement is more than 400 Kg/ Cum. (v) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective item of BOQ. (vii) Design mix for PQC shall be got carried out by the contractor from NABH accedredited IIT/NIT/Govt Engg College/Govt approved Lab and shall be got approved by GE before commencement of cement concrete work in PQC/hardstanding.

Supply only non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyster fibres of length 12mm to 18mm, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable alkali resistant, equivalent diameter 15 to 40 micron, minimum melting temperature 250°C and minimum tensile strength 300MPa be used upto 0.25% by weight of cement, all as per IS codes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete pavement by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 12mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade 'B' for 250 mm thickness of concrete slab/hardstanding/pavement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction joint 10mm wide and 30mm deep and filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming construction (dummy) joint 65mm deep and 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed.
