List of project need to be submitted for approval. The below global certificate/ report is a must to ensure the performance, safety and reliability of the Air Purification being proposed • The central air cleaner must be designed to trap and kill microbes with high efficiency duly tested on E. coli (ATCC 15597), H1N1, as per ASTM E2149 with no less than 99% killing in less than 15 minutes. • The central air cleaner must be tested as per FDA GLP Regulations (40 CFR Part 160) for corona virus inactivation capability of over 99% in presence of FDA inspector in global labs. • The unit shall be UL2998 (that does not produces ozone, ozone generation shall be less than 50 ppb from an International Lab) & Intertek ETL, UL 867, CSA C22 No. 187, and CE certified for safety and quality and with EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility), LVD (Low Voltage directive) and RoHS compliant for complete modules | |||||||
| 1.03• The system shall be ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 2017 tested with at least a MERV 15 rating and an ISO 16890 ePM 1.0 90%. • Each central air cleaner modules should be UL certified and not components or individual parts. The central air cleaner must be listed and certified by a US OSHA set standards duly implemented through NRTL accredited labs such as Intertek, Underwriters Limited, etc. to ensure safety and compliance with no consumable media filter. • The central air cleaner performance must be tested from a ASHRAE compliant from an International Lab third-party testing laboratory to confirm CME (Composite Minimum Efficiency) meeting following criteria: Particle Size CME 0.3 to 0.4 μm 90% • The failure to submittal the certifications along with the submittal shall lead to rejection of the product. • For safety & security no arching, popping noise should occur during dust test. Also there should be no residual charge to avoid any shock risks. • The UV-C lamp must be CE certified and shatterproof with a US FDA 21 CFR 175.300 compliant coating for breakage protection. • The system shall meet EUROVENT ePM 1.0 80% requirement and ASHRAE guideline for UV-C application for SARS-CoV-2 inactivation. • The system should have a UL certified inbuilt pneumatic sensor allowing it to work as a controller (optional). It must automatically detect airflow and the capability to interface with the building management system. If the HVAC system is turned ON and the airflow is detected, then the output power should be available to the system, otherwise the system shall automatically turn off for the protection of service personnel.
