Arrival/Departure Zone Marker Refer design drawing 1.6aS, 1.6a G Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-In-Charge. All exterior signs should be manufactured considering harsh outdoor conditions, weatherproofing techniques and materials shall be used. Sign Face Providing and fixing entire Sign face all 4 sides, made of printed vinyl flex of high quality, with the letters/pictogram to match Pantone Black 6C and the rest of the vinyl to match Pantone Yellow C. To be mounted onto framework using appropriate clips and edge ties to be perfectly taut with no sagging. Stitching of the vinyl flex should not be visible to the customers, preferably given at the back side of the box. Suspender Providing and fixing suspension for the signs using Stainless steel Hollow section100mm OD X 3 MM Thick (assuming typical length of 15 ft ), cut, fabricated as per drawing and provided with connectors plates for mounting with holes and entire assembly finished in brush finish as approved by the Engineer -in-charge. Suspender shall be made to required lengths for each sign for its location after studying the site and ensuring a perfectly aligned and levelled sign installation. This item includes all work done on false ceiling like opening/dismantling/local cutting to pass the suspender and reinstalling/doing good/assembling the same after fixing and installation on the sign. Sign Frame Providing and fixing 25mm x 25mm x 1.3mm MS square sections hot dipped galvanized and welded together to form a framework. Frame to be directly fixed to the sign suspender. Frame to receive the sign faces. Stretching Member Providing and fixing 8mm thick acrylic strips vertically to the sign frame to help stretching the sign face. Bottom panel Bottom MS Panel powder coated in colour to match Vinyl Black of Pantone Black 6C. Lighting All internal illumination shall be using power lights from Osram or equivalent with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels mentioned in the performance specification. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site. Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut-inserts, screws , rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete as per drawing. The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contactor. Secret fixing methods should be used to fix parts together. Terminal Building Announcer Refer design drawing 1.8S, 1.8G Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge. All exterior signs should be manufactured considering harsh outdoor conditions, weatherproofing techniques and materials shall be used. (Considering all Alphabets for English and Hindi) Letter face: Providing and fixing White translucent 040, 5mm thick acrylic, complete face shall be covered with translucent vinyl film to match Blue Pantone 541C. Back Channel: The channel letters would be made out of 3 mm thick aluminium sheet to receive the front acrylic and house the controller and LEDs, wall 60 mm deep. All the letters would be made in profile to achieve true right angle. All mounting would be done in true plumb and using templet, keeping the alignment of the letters in one level as per drawing. Lighting: All internal illumination shall be using Power LED Lights from Osram or equivalent with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels mentioned in the performance specification. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site. Sign Box: The sign box shall be made in 18-gauge thick powder coated aluminium in specified blue colour RAL 5013. Router cut, grooved and folded to achieve the desired shape as per drawing fixed with the internal frame structure. Sign Face: The sign face shall be made in 18-gauge thick powder coated aluminium in specified blue colour RAL 5013, provided with backlit LED lighting and shall have laser cut profiles to receive milky white 6 mm thick acrylic sheet from back. All panels fixed using counter sunk screws. Sign Structure:- M.S. square sections 25 x 25 mm hot dipped galvanized Structure fixed to the sign box and to be fixed to the wall surface. Structure to receive the sign face. Lighting:- All internal illumination shall be using Power LED Lights from Osram or equivalent with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels mentioned in the performance specification.
