PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION AGAINST JOB NO 01 NDA 5TH BN AMWP 2022-23 CONST OF ADM AND TRG INFRASTRUCTURE AS PART OF RAISING OF 5TH BN AT NDA KHADAKWASLA (PHASE-1)(SPL WORK)

Mobilization of drilling equipment, necessary personnel, etc to site located at 10 places in NDA premises and demobilization of the same after completion of the work.

Carriying out soil investigation at work site by drilling boreholes 100mm dia up to 6.00m in any type of soil and 75mm (NX size) in rock, collecting disturbed/undisturbed soil samples conducting field and laboratory testes as per BIS 1892-1988, B/S 2131-1988 & other latest relevant Indian standards compilation of field and lab test data & test results and submission of detailed soil investigation / Geotechnical report in quintuplet complete. The scope of work comprises of the following:- (a) Drilling bore holes of requisite dia and depth conducting standard penetratlion test (SPT) at every change in strata on at the interval of not more than 1.35 m whchever is less. (b) Collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil samples at depth of 0.30,1.00,1.35,2.70,4.05,5.40 & 6.00 mtr from ground level or change of strata (c) Conducting other relevant field tests. (d) Conducting following laboratory tests :- (i) Sieve analysis (ii) Plasticity index (iii) Specific gravity (iv) Water / moisture content (v) Practicle size analysis (vi) Bulk and dry density (vii) Atterberg limits (viii) Chemical analysis of sub soil (ix) Direct shear test (x) Un confined, un-drained test (xi) Consolidation test (xii) Differential free swell test in case of expansive soil. (xiii) Spl Lab test in case if rocky strata:- (aa) Uncontained compressive strength (ab) Tensile / shear strength (ac) RQD-Quality index for rocky strata (ad) Other test if any for classification of rocky strata as per IRC/BIS ie soft or hard rock categorically (ae) Compilation of field and lab test data/ results and submission of detailed soil investigation/Geotechnical report in sixtriplicate covering following sections as per enclosed specification. Section 1 Intruduction giving scope of investigatlion . Section 2 Field investigation Section 3 Laboratory investigation Section4 Discussion of sub soil conditions Section 5 Conclusion & Final recommendations.
