PLASTERING

BRICK WORK in cement mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five M.sand) using second class chamber burnt bricks of size 23x11x7cm size 9" x 43/8" x 23/4" for the including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (Masonry projections whereever necessary for obtaining required elevation shall be done without extra cost.)

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE 1:2:4 (One cement two M.sand and four aggregate) using machine crushed 20mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for all reinforced cement concrete works connected to this work excluding centering, strutting, cost of reinforcement grills placed in position, but including laying, vibrating, curing and finishing, fixing fan clamps in the RCC floor and roof slab works wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of the wall at the sides and bottom of the slab, beams etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

First floor

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position mild steel / ribbed tor steel rods for all RCC works including cutting, bending to required shape and placing in position, cost of steel and binding wire and all labour charges, conveyance etc. in all floors. Complete complying with standard specfication and as directed by the departmental officers..

Supplying and erecting CENTERING for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.29 m high for plane surfaces such as RCC Column footing, Plinth beam and sill beams, RCC SLABS, RECTANGULAR BEAMS, TEE or ELL BEAMS, LINTELS, BED BLOCKS, STAIRCASE WAIST and landing slabs, landing beams, canopy etc., in all floors with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and BG 10 stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over countrywood joists of size 10cm x 6.50cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casuarina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Slab, Beam & Lintel

SPECIAL CEILING PLASTERING and finishing all the RCC exposed surfaces such as RCC slabs, sunshades, canopies, staircase steps, landing slabs, etc. with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three P.sand) 10mm thick, including hacking the surfaces including curing neat finishing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

PLASTERING with cement mortar 1:5 (one cement five P.sand) 12 mm., thick for walls in all floors including necessary scaffolding, curing, neat finishing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers

WHITE WASHING ONE COAT using best quality (KOTTAYAM) White cement in floors including cost of white cement and other materials, brushes, scaffolding charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The rate is inclusive of cost of gum, best quality of blue powder etc.,).

Manufacturing, Supplying and fixing in position STEEL GRILLS. Square bars 12mm is welded to the inner face not exceeding 10cm spacing, All the members of the Grils shall be painted one coat with red oxide primer. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials, labour charges including cost of welding electrodes, transportation to site of work loading, unloading and all other charges etc., Complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) windows of casement type (Open) from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile are reinforcement with GI/1mm 125GSM and 100% corrosion free, the profiles are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with over all the edges of frame and shutter the shutter will be provided with Espag multi power point locks and also it operates as handle. The corners and joints should welded and cleaned. Radiations free pin headed plain or brown colour glass 4mm thick should be provided to the shutter and it should not allow leakage of water even at most ranging storms and should have key lockable action, security protective hinges, strong locking systems and as per size for arresting noise and energy loss. The connecting mechanism between sash and outer frame that enables opening of the window. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames etc. Complete as directed by the departmental officers. (The window should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work.)

Providing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Door : Providing and fixing casement doors fabricated from un-palsticized polyvinyl chloride (Upvc) sections. Profiles: The profiles should be three chamber system which provides high insulation properties with outer frame 60mmx55mm with an outer wall thickness of 2.4mm.The window unit should be designed with all corner joints mitred and fusion welded. Windows should be steel reinforced with 25 x24 x 25mm steel reinforcement with a thickness of 1mm to have dimensional stability. The sash should be of 60 x 102mm.The mullion should be of 60 x 74mm The profiles should have co-extruded seats. Hardware : All the hardware like friction stays,handles should be screwed with self tapping screws.The handles,locks should be designed so that they cannot be released from outsides. Glazing : The window system should be glazed with 5mm plain float glass /6mm bison lam. Installation : The profiles should be cut to length and welded 45 degrees.The window should be designed such that the water drainage does not pass through the reinforcement chamber The window system should be fixed directly to the plastered brick wall using self expanding nylon plug and driving MS electroplates screws into plug etc., Complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Flooring with scratch proof premium grade Double charged VITRIFIED TILES of approved quality and colour of size 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.008 m in all floors over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.sand) base above the existing bed concrete and pointing with same colour cement added with colouring pigments etc.,Complete complying with the standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting the wall surface using best quality of PLASTIC Emulsion paint TWO COAT with ONE COAT OF PRIMER as per the Specification of the approved colour to give an even shade, including cost of brushes and all other materials required and scaffolding charges etc.,. Complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers ( The paint to be used should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before us on work.)

PAINTING the wall surface using best quality of TWO COAT EXTERIOR EMULSION PAINT of the approved colour as per the specification including ONE COAT OF PRIMER to give an even shade, including cost of brushes and all other materials required and the scaffolding charges.(The paint to be used should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before us on work). Complete and as directed by the departmental Officers.

PAINTING NEW IRON WORKS with two coats of Enamel paint of approved quality and colour OVER A PRIMING COAT with approved quality of red oxide primer. The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials and labour, brushes and scaffolding charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(The paint to be used should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work.)

Supplying laying and jointing various diameter of PVC PIPES of approved quality (Like Finolex or equivalent) and best variety conforming to I.S.S. and with I.S.I. mark including cutting, threading and fixing PVC specials but excluding cost of such specials and fixing to wall by concealing them including chipping and making holes on the walls or drilling holes in the roof and making good the dismantled portions to original condition including cost of special clamp with screws nails teak wood plugs and any other accssories necessary for fixing in position etc., Complete complying with the standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

PAINTING the wall surface using best quality of TWO COAT of Exterior Emulsion Paint of the approved colour and quality as per the specification to give an even shade at the external walls with necessary scrapping including cost of brushes and all other materials required and the scaffolding charges.Complete and as directed by the departmental Officers.(The paint to be used should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before us on work).

Supplying and applying the existing Rcc roof surface and joining of brick wall and rcc surface shall be coated with ready to use of two component Acrylic polymer flexible water proof coating with two coat of Bostik - Boscolastic for one mm thick etc.,complete as directed by the departmental officers.

WEATHERING COURSE CONCRETE using best quality broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slacked lime (no M.sand to be added) over the RCC roof slabs in the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.5 by volume and laid in a single layer and consolidated to the required design and finished thickness by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery water etc.,Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of PRESSED TILES of size 23cm x 23cm x 2cm of approved quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to I.S. at 2% by weight of cement used and the top pointed with same mortar mixed with red oxide to the full depth of tiles etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The rate is inclusive of red oxide and water proofing compound)

Supplying, applying and finishing the old/new wall surfaces with two coat of plaster of paris putty (white) / colour using best quality colouring pigments. Putty surfaces should be finished smoothly with emery paper as required by the departmental officers etc., Complete as directed by the departmental officers.
