Surface preparation: All surfaces to be waterproofed should be sound, clean and dry. Concrete surfaces should have a light steel-trowel followed by a fine hair-broom or equivalent finish which is dry and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. All high spots should be removed. Moss and lichen must be removed physically followed by treatment with fungicidal wash to kill any spores and inhibit further growth. After treatment wash down thoroughly with clean water and allowed to dry. The old bituminous membrane and old plaster from the roof & any treated surface should be removed, including shifting and disposal of all the old tarfelt and debris from the roof of the office building upto ground level outside office building etc. as directed. The cost is inclusive of material, labour, tools, tackles, taxes, transport, arranging of labour hutment out side AMD Complex etc all complete.

Drilling holes along the length of each static/structural cracks in concrete @ 30 centimeter centre to centre intervals and providing & applying high pressure injection grout as per manufacturer specification by using FOSROC product Conbextra EP10. Conbextra EP10 is a solvent free Epoxy low viscosity resin that is designed to be used for grouting applications of gap widths from 0.25mm upto 10mm. The entire process of application of the Conbextra EP10 Epoxy Grouting should be done strictly as per manufacturer specification. The cost is inclusive of materials, labour, tools, tackles, taxes, transport, arranging of labour hutment out side AMD Complex etc all complete.

Repair of roof slab cracks: Sealing of cracks on the roof by cutting V groove and sealing with suitable epoxy resin based putty Fosroc Nitocote VF as per manufacturer specification. The cost is inclusive of material, labour, tools, tackles, taxes, transport, arranging of labour hutment out side AMD Complex etc all complete.

Application of Nitoproof 600 Std: Providing and applying First Coat of “Fosroc – Nitoproof 600 Std” or equivalent as per manufacturer specification on the prepared surface and wait for its drying. Apply the Second Coat once the first Coat is touch dry situation and apply perpendicular direction to the first coat for the total thickness of 1.3mm in two coats. Sprinkle sand on the Final Surface when it is a tacky condition for the mechanical bonding. End treatment: At the junction of roof slab and parapet wall, where the covering has been done previously, two coats of “Fosroc – Nitoproof 600 Std” or equivalent should be applied up to a height of 400mm for a total thickness of 1.3mm and the covered with protection screed. Also, providing 80 GSM Polyester Geotextile Mat (over lapped @ 100mm) to be laid over final coat od PU coating.The cost is inclusive of material, labour, tools, tackles, taxes, transport, arranging of labour hutment out side AMD Complex etc all complete.

Providing Coving at horizontal and vertical junction with Nitobond SBR Latex between the horizontal slab and vertical wall with fillet of size 75mm x 75mm with Cement Mortar 1:3 admixed with Fosroc Nitobond SBR Latex and should be applied strictly as per manufacturer's specification. The cost is inclusive of materials, labour, tools, tackles, taxes, transport, arranging of labour hutment out side AMD Complex etc all complete.

Providing screed protection to waterproofing membrane cum grading on roof with cement mortar laid in proper grades, thichness and slopes complete as directed in Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand).

20mm thick Cement plaster In cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement on the inside walls and floor of Overhead Water Tank etc., including providing scaffolding and working platforms etc. complete as directed.

Providing and mixing water proofing materials (suitable for potable water) in the above cement mortar (item No.1.071) in proportion as recommended by the manufacturers.

Opening & re-installation of solar panels as follows: a) Carefully removing 16 Nos. Solar panels which are installed on the roof of AMD office building to allow free access during execution of the work b) Shifting and stacking the panels properly to suitable place as directed c) Reinstallation of the solar panels to the same condition after completion of the work with the same nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners etc. complete as directed and to the satisfaction of Incharge Physics Laboratory, AMD, NER, Shillong.

Opening and dismantling of old FRP ducts of Scrubber machine of Chemistry Laboratory and installation of new PRP ducting pipes as follows (including all cost of new ducting pipes and necessary accessories): a) Carefully removing the FRP ducts of the Chemistry Laboratory Scrubber Machine which are fitted on the roof of AMD office building to allow free space and access during execution of the work. b) Hacking / chiseling the concrete pedestal, force opening of old and rusted nut and bolts to release the clamps and FRP ducts from their places. c) Shifting and stacking the old ducts at scrap yard of AMD office as directed. d) Installation of the new FRP ducts on concrete pedestals and MS angles support , with new nut and bolts as required to propper alignment, height, level etc. to ensure satisfactory performance of the scrubber machine to the satisfaction of the department. (including supply and providing all new ducting pipes, accessories etc. complete).e) Note: In order to ensure that the entire dismantling work and new installation

Disposal of surplus earth / old tarfelt / debris etc. from the work site including loading and unloading complete as directed. Lead for first 5Kms

Extra for carriage of items as per item 1.101 including loading and unloading and all charges complete beyond the initial lead of 5Km. For 5km to 10 km.

Labour charges for opening of 2 rows of copper strips (50 meters long each, 25mm width x 5mm thickness) connected with the lightening arrester from the roof slab during execution of the work, stacking the copper strips at designated locations and re-fixing the same with screws, nut, bolts etc. after completion of the work including all cost of labour, taxes etc. complete.

Providing and laying Concrete in Reinforced Cement Concrete Works with coarse sand & 20mm down graded stone aggregate including curing complete but excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work (form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately) in M20 or Prop. 1:1.5:3.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position TMT reinforcement bars conforming to relevant I.S. Code for R.C.C. work including straightening, cleaning, cutting and bending to proper shapes and length as per details, supplying and binding with 20G annealed black wire and placing in position with proper blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. complete.

Providing form work of ordinary timber planking of thickness not less than 25mm and removal of the same for concrete members so as to give a rough finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc., as specified for the following items in bases of columns.

General Notes: 1. Contractor shall inspect the site to acquaint with the site conditions as well as security conditions at AMD Complex,Nongmensong, Shillong 2. All the dismantled/ demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within the lead of 150.0mtr. 3. All the samples of materials which are to incorporated in the work shall be got approved by the Engineer -In- charge well in advance. 4. It is the responsibility of the contractor to handover the dismantled items to Dept. At site. Contractor shall be held responsible for any shortage/ missing of dismantled items untill handing over the same to dept.stroes. 5. The contractor is required to pay his employees / labour as per the prevailing minimum wages approved by State/ Central Govt. The Officer In –Charge or his representative will witness the payment of contractor’s labour and is required to certify that the contractor does not pay less than the minimum wages approved. Payment to the contractor will be released only on such certification from Officer In –Charge. The contractor shall maintain 1. Register of Workmen employed 2. Muster roll 3. Register of wages etc. 6.The Contractor shall submit a Bond Guarantee of Five Years in Prescribed Format towards Waterproofing Works 7. The rates quoted shall include cost of all tools and tackles, manpower including wages, all wastages and GST,water charges, Labour cess, seignorage charges etc. as applicable but exclusive of EPF and ESI. EPF and ESI are reimbursable as per relevant clause on production of proof of payment as per CPWD norms.
