Providing and maintaining Barricading on the site 2.5 m high by using MS Pipes or angle iron frame work of verticals at 3 m c/c and horizontals at 0.90 m c/c, Galvalume sheets, Struts, MS Clamps, etc. The rate to include fabricating, cutting and fixing in position MS frame work , painting the same with wto coats of approved anti rust paint etc complete, the contractor to get structural design approved by the Engr-in-Charge. Contractor shall remove and take away the barricading at his own cost on completion of the works.

Chipping /removing loose concrete up to reinforcement bars, without damaging the reinforcement, removing all the loose materials and to make all the exposed surfaces free from oil, dust and all impurities etc., complete all as specidied and as directed.

Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose rust and then applying rust removal solution by using brush application, leaving the surface for at least 15 to 30 minutes, then removing loose materials by scrubbing or with brush and applying polymer bond to the old concrete surface before applying Polymer mortar, complete all as specified and as directed. Application of Corrosion Inhibitor: Providing & applying One coat of Concrete Penetrating Corrosion Inhibitor (Surface applied) which works on Bipolar Inhibition Mechanism on entire concrete surface to be repaired by using brush or spray at 250 ml per Sq.Mt./Coat or as per manufacturer’s specification and prior to application of first coat of anti corrosive coating to reinforcement, complete all as specified and as directed. Make : "SIKA – Feroguard 903” or "FOSROCK – Auramix BCI”

Providing Micro Concrete jacketing to walls or beams of thickness upto 75 mm using Polymer modified cement premixed quartz sand aggregate packed in bags of standard manufacture, for high early strength of 40 N/mm sq.cm of approved brand. The dry product is to be mixed with 12.5% water by weight, along with washed and poured into rigid form work moulds & tamped properly, & cured for 3 days. [Payment is to be made by weight premixed of micro concrete product consumed as per site register records. No extra payment shall be made for shuttering or any other material, complete all as specified and as directed. SIKA – Sika Rep microconcrete - 4” ” FOSROCK – Renderoc RG”

Providing and applying Polymer modified cement mortar of average thickness 15-20mm using Polymer in one or more layers in proportion 1:5:15 of Polymer Cement Quartz Sand as manufacturer’s specifications in specific layers, curing the surface after 72 hours of application with wet gunny bags etc and by finishing the surface with 12mm thick (1:3) Cement sand plaster, complete all as specified and as directed. Providing and applying Polymer modified cement mortar of average thickness 30-40mm using Polymer in two layers in proportion 1:5:15 of Polymer Cement Quartz Sand as manufacturer’s specifications in specific layers, curing the surface after 72 hours of application with wet gunny bags etc and by finishing the surface with 12mm thick (1:3) Cement sand plaster, complete all as specified and as directed. Make : "SIKA – Sika 122 HS” or "FOSROCK – Renderoc HS xtra”

Shear Connectors: Making 10/12 mm dia holes using heavy duty electrically operated hammer drills in the concrete of RCC members to a depth of about 75 mm at 500 mm c/c or at suitable grid in zig-zag fashion, clean the holes using air jet and fix pre-fabricated 100 x 50 mm L-shape 8 mm dia rebar using Anti Corrosive protective coating so that 75 mm out of 100 mm is inserted inside the concrete and 25 mm remain outside along with 50 mm bend. The shear connectors are used to tie the additional reinforcement bars, complete all as specified and as directed. Make : FOSROCK – HILTI, Fischer”

Mid steel TMT bars 10mm dia & over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, conforming to grade Fe-500D, complete all as specified & directed.

Bond Coat : Providing & applying one coat of structural grade epoxy bond coat by brush conforming to ASTM-C-882-87 to the prepared concrete surface to be repaired / strengthened. This is applied prior to the application of polymer repair mortar / epoxy mortar / Microconcrete to have monolithic action between old concrete surface and new concrete surface, complete all as specified and as directed. Providing and applying priming cum bonding coat of polymer of approved make and quality as approved by engineer- in - charge and cement slurry in 1:1 proportionate by weight to concrete area by brush or any other established method etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Providing precast cement concrete louvres and jallies of 35 mm thick, (measured solid), including all mouldings but excluding frame in Nominal Mix 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6mm nominal size) reinforced with 1.6 mm dia mild steel wire including centering and shuttering, roughening cleaning, fixing and finishing in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) etc. complete excluding plastering of the jambs, sills and soffits, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un reinforced) as in roofs of existing water proofing treatment of any type and any thickness, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Roughing surfaces of old concrete surfaces by picking up, sweeping, cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc for local depressions RCC surfacewill be finished and rendered with 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) using water proofing compound over and including Brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per sq. metre finished even and smooth without using extra cement and the sand used for the same will be clean and free from any silt, organic matter and impurities. RCC and plastered surface will be wet cured for minimum period laid down in IS 456 & then allowed to dry and leakage checked by pointed test atleast 72 hrs. After checking of leakages on dry plaster surfaces apply bituminous primer conforming to IS 3384 @ 0.40 Kgs/sqm on plastered surface on sunny day. After the primed surface has dried and apply a coat of hot blown VG-20 penetration grade blown bituben, confiming to IS-702 @ 1.20 kg/sqm on the surfaces provide APP (Atactic Polyoropylene) modified polymeric five layered membrane with central core 100 micron high molecular high density firm. Minimum weight of mambrance will be 3Kg/Sqm . APP membrane will be laid across the slope from lowest line sloping roof towards ridge with minimum end lap of 150mm & side lap of 75mm bonded with hot blown bitumen. Over the APP membrane apply semi hot blown VG-20 penetration grade bitumen " 1.2Kg/Sqm and blinded with fine sand in dry condition " 0.50 Kg/Sqm dusted over the bitumen coat. Note :- 1. The laying of the membrane shall be got done by authorized applicator of the membrane manufacturer. 2. Edges of membrance shall also be inserted into groove made in Parapet wall up to a height of 100mm above.

20mm thick precast machine pressed factory made PCC tiles as in 1:2:4, type B-0, 250 x 250mm size and 22mm thickness with grey cement and no pigment on and including bedding layer of 15mm thick cement mortar 1: 4 mixed laid with 5 mm wide spaces and joint filled with 5% creosote oil, jointed & pointed flush in cement mortar 1: 1 complete all as directed. Providing and laying water proofing treatment to sunken portion of WCs, bathrooms, etc by applying first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253kg/sqm this layer allowed to air cure for 4 hrs then applying slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @0.126kg/sqm and allowed to aircure for 4 hrs and joints seal with sealing compound as approved by GE. Note: (i) Before laying of lime concrete contractor shall carried out at least 8 hrs ponding test for any leakage in each sunken portion and joints of trap/WC/Soil pipes shall be properly sealed with sealing compound of Roofex/Forre/FOSROC and provn of P or S trap & Nahani /Floor traps with long arm and also provn of spout of 40 mm dia.

15mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of brick surfaces or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in as in sunken portion treatment, complete all as specified and as directed.

Water proofing treatment to the chajja after removing old plaster and roughening the surface and finishing the top surface with 20mm thick 1:3 cement mortar plaster with approved water proofing compounds including rounding portion in between wall & chajja top and neat cement finish, the rate also includes for 1:3 cement mortar facia of chajja to match the new surface (actual area treated will be paid), complete all as specified and as directed.

15 mm thick rendering in two layers (10+5mm) on fair faces of brick /concrete including facia chhajja etc.surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 and finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

12mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick surfaces or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

Applying 1 to 1.2mm thick wall care putty on plastered surfaces of wall, complete all as specified.

Removing any kind of debris/Demolished building material outside A-1 def land including loading in truck and conveying day to day basis to beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination approved dumping point etc. complete with all lifts and lead of 5 Km out side MD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: 1.The contractor shall take necessary permission of Civil Auth if needed for removal of Debries on out side MD land and quoted rates deemed to be inclusive. 2. The full lorry of debris having minimum size not less than 200 cubic feet shall be considered as one load for payment purpose.

Note for item No. 1 to 11, 19 & 20 : (i) Work shall be executed only through authorized applicator of manufacturer. (ii) All scaffolding work and safety measures such as provision of props and supports shall be of Steel and, extent of provision shall be to the entire satisfaction of GE. (iii) After obtaining approval of the makes of products the Contractor shall give a letter from the manufacturer regarding the details of agency and name of Person to be deployed for carry out repair & supervisor of work. (iv) The T&P shall be strictly as per manufacturer instruction. (v) Necessary Jacks shall be errected to support various floors before exposing columns/beams for repair and it shall also be ensured that no damage is made to the existing structure during repair process & all safety norms shall be followed. (vi) Contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for structure repairs carried out under above ser items of BOQ for a period of five years. An amount to the tune of 5% of total amount Quoted against ser item 01 to 11, 19 & 20 or RS.50,OOO.OO whichever is less shall be held back from' Contractors payment as security deposit against the guarantee period of 5 years from certified date of completion. Which shall be refunded to him after expiry of this period. Alternatively Contractor may give interest bearing deposit in favour of GE for five year for the Sum above which shall be refunded back after satisfactory completion of five year from date of completion. (vii) Close vigin& promptness on the progress and joint measurement has to be ensured and Photographic evidence in Soft copy for complete repair process for each structural members shall be taken by Contractor & handed over to GE. (viii) The Construal chemicall Fibers to be used shall to of following approved brands :- (a) Sika (b) Chembond (c) Hilti (d) BASF (e) Dr.Fixit (f) FOSROC (g) CICO (h) STP Limited.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone surfaces etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specifed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified.

(e) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. Note : On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (g) Testing of earthing.
