Earthwork in grabbing the seat of the embankment. upto 0.3 m depth and depositing the soils outside the country side toe of the proposed structures , etc. complete as directed..

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22 cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 2.5 cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10%deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage ) For initial lead beyond ½ Km and up to 2.00 Km and for all lifts

Compacting original ground : i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening levelling and compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placment of first layer of embankment ,scarified to a depth of 150mm,mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical Specification Clause 3001.4.1.

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary ,etc.complete as directed. Ordinary soil.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closelynincluding dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts

Labour charge for clearing white ant nest from the embankment including digging earth, clearing white ant nest, applying anti termite chemical and carrying spoils to a safe distance and filling the pits by fresh earth including ramming, watering etc. Complete as directed.

Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope including removing the soils at a safe distance, complete as directed.

Supply of R.C.C. Porcupine member of size 0.10m × 0.10m × 3.00m with cement concrete proportion 1 :2:4, reinforced by 4 Nos. of 8mm dia TMT bar. and 4mm dia (8G) wire stirrups at 15cm. C/C with 2 (two) nos of holes of 20mm dia at 50 cm inside from both sides in the same face and in the other face of member another 2 (two) nos. of holes of size 20mm dia at 65 cm inside from both ends including properly curing for 28 days and supply at specified stackyard complete as directed.

Labour charge for launching of R.C.C. / PSC Porcupine including carriage of R.C.C./ PSC porcupine members of size 0.10m × 0.10m × 3.00m from the stack yard to the place of launching ,erection of the Porcupine with 6 (six) members properly, supply & fitting/fixing with 12 mm dia 25 Cm long M.S. Nuts and bolts and launching the porcupine properly as directed. (Lead up to 150 m) . Without Boat

Local Carriage of Porcupine members by Diesel truck of 10 MT capacity including loading at stack yard and un loading at river bank up to an average lead of 10.00 Km and all lift, complete as directed.

Collection & supply of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand and 40% gravel free from disintegrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters, adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site and payment of forest royalty etc. complete as directed.

Labour charge for laying of soling stone, brick bats, broken stone metal, sand gravel etc. on approach road including ramming dressing the seat and local carriage of materials up to a distance of 60 m complete as directed

Construction of whole Bholuka Bamboo Screen with matured Bholuka Bamboo stacks 75mm to 100mm dia, placed at 30 cm clear apart( i.e. 40 cm C/C) driven4.00 m to 4.50m below ground and 3.0m to 3.50m above ground with hydraulic driving equipments including hire charge of equipment, cost of P.O.L. etc. and providing with 1 (one) row of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies tied with galvanised wire of 16 G to 18 G etc complete as directed.(Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 240.00 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 9.60 nos / Rm
