REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT RANGIA AND CHANGSARI MILITARY STATION UNDER GE RANGIA

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sq m each including making good by applying tack coat (Paving Bitumen VG-10 Grade) @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam,well rammed and sealed with binder (Paving Bitumen VG-30 Grade) 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings),complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for,preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.including applying tack coat on existing bitumenous,cement concrete or primed granular surface to ensure a bond between the surface being paved and the overlaying course with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 Grade at the rate of 5 Kgs per 10 Sq M of surface area, complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for, bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder (Paving Bitumen VG-30 Grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled with mechanical paver of power exc 8 ton n n exc 12 ton complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Materials and Labour for, for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc.and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instruction and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F Solar cat eye aluminium alloyshall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm X 125mm X 25mm (shank 65 mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instruction etc all as specified and directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details. 3. The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
